Procedimentos modais na música brasileira: do campo étnico do Nordeste ao popular da década de 1960. / Modal Procedures in Brazilian MusicPaulo José de Siqueira Tiné 18 February 2009 (has links)
a)Objetivos: Traçar um perfil dos procedimentos melódicos modais presentes nas manifestações étnicas e populares do nordeste brasileiro afim de verificá-los em autores ligados à música popular do Brasil na década de 1960, cotejando os diferentes procedimentos harmônicos realizados. b)Métodos: O principal método utilizado foi o da análise a partir da transcrição de exemplos em áudio. A partir dessas análises uma série de comparações com materiais similares encontrados na bibliografia foi realizada. c) Resultados: Como resultado dessa pesquisa foram apontados os principais modos e traços cadenciais utilizados no repertório étnico e popular escolhido do nordeste brasileiro. Esses traços foram importantes na construção das canções aqui selecionadas, características da chamada MPB da década de 1960 apresentando, a partir dessas análises, os principais procedimentos harmônicos desses autores relacionados aos modos e traços cadenciais encontrados. / e)Objectives: Delineating a profile of the modal melodic procedures present in the ethnic and popular manifestations of the Northeast region of Brazil in order to verify them in authors connected to the Brazilian popular music from the 1960s, comparing the different harmonic procedures produced. f)Methods: The main method used was the analysis of transcripts of audio samples. From these analyses a series of comparisons with similar materials found in the bibliography was made. g)Results: As a result of this research, the main modes and cadential traces used in the ethnic and popular repertoire chosen from the Northeast of Brazil were indicated. These traces were important in the construction of the songs here selected, characteristics of the so-called MPB of the 1960s presenting, from those analyses, the main harmonic procedures of those authors related to the cadential modes and traces found.

The use of the Edu-Psychological Relation Theory as well-grounded theoretical point of departure in
the identification of a midlife crisis
The compilation of a diagnostic questionnaireusing the Edu-Psychological Relation
Theory as framework, which was used in the empirical study to identify a midlife crisis
It was found that, although not all middle aged persons experience a crisis during this time,
there are ten different crisis elements which could indicate a midlife crisis. A diagnostic
questionnaire was operationalised in terms of the Edu-Psychological Relation Theory, and used in

Die doel van hierdie ondersoek was om vas te stel of Opvoedkundige Kinesiologie deur die
Opvoedkundige Sielkundige gebruik sou kan word as 'n psigoterapeutiese benadering ten einde
emosionele welsyn te verhoog. Volgens Edu-K is die brein-liggaam sisteem onlosmaak:lik verbind en
emosionele blokkerings is nie slegs in die denke en intellek van die mens gelee nie, maar ook op
sellulere vlak vasgele.
Navorsing aan die hand van die idiografiese benadering is gedoen. Vyf proe:tpersone, wat aangemeld
is met emosionele probleme, het elkeen 'n reeks Edu-K balanserings ontvang volgens individuele
behoeftes. Die doel daarvan was om te bepaal ofEdu-K balanserings sou lei tot verhoogde welsyn.
Na die reeks balanserings is daar beduidende positiewe veranderinge waargeneem ten opsigte van
emosionele probleme, sowel as verbeteringe in ak.ademiese prestasie. Daar is ook algemene
prak.tiese riglyne gegee vir ouers, onderwysers en Opvoedkundige Sielkundiges. / The aim of this investigation was to ascertain whether Educational Kinesiology could be applied by
the Educational Psychologist as a psychotherapeutic tool in order to enhance emotional wellbeing.
According to Edu-K the mind-body system is inseperably one: emotional blocks are not only situated
in the mind and intellect of a person, but are recorded on cellular level as well.
Research was done by way of an idiographic approach. Five subjects with emotional problems
received a series of balances according to their individual needs. The aim was to ascertain whether
Edu-K balances could enhance emotional wellbeing. A significant positive improvement in emotional
problems as well as in academic performance were noted. General guidelines for parents, teachers

This Master’s thesis deals with optimization of loading patterns of nuclear reactors VVER. In the thesis is described the process of both types of fuel cycle – the closed and the open one. The middle part of fuel cycle containing the optimization process represents the crucial part of the thesis. The thesis is focused on the fuel cycles of the nuclear power plant Dukovany. The problem of the optimization is solved by using different programs. In the final part of the thesis, the program Athena for the loading patterns optimation is explained by a practical calculation for different versions of Moby-Dick macrocode and the calculated values for the optimization of the third unit of the nuclear power plant Dukovany are compared.
