Dynamická prezentace fotografií s využitím hloubkové mapy / Dynamic Image Presentations Using Depth Maps

Hanzlíček, Jiří January 2019 (has links)
This master's thesis focuses on the dynamic presentation of still photography using a depth map. This text presents an algorithm that describes the process of creating a spatial model which is used to render input photography so that the movement of virtual camera creates parallax effect due to depth in image. The thesis also presents an approach how to infill the missing data in the model. It is suggested that a guided texture synthesis is used for this problem by using rendering outputs of the model themselves as guides. Additional information in model allows the virtual camera to move more freely. The final result of the camera movement can be saved to simple video sequence which can be used for presenting the input photography.

Štěrkové pilíře - význam klenbového efektu / Stone columns - importance of arch effect

Vanko, Peter January 2015 (has links)
The aim of the the thesis is to study the development of arch effect depending on the change of the various parameters such as grid of columns, height of embankments, material of embankment fill and material of columns. The first phase of work summarizes theoretical knowledges of stone columns and arch effect. The next phase deals with analysis of the effect of arch using numerical modeling. In the next part of the second phase circular tank based on stone columns will be modeled, where deformations and stress on columns will be monitored in changing constitutive model and applying substitute characteristics. Obtained results will be evaluated in conclusion.

Napěťově deformační analýza přírubového spoje / Stress and deformation analyses of the flange connection

Lehnert, Ondřej January 2016 (has links)
This master thesis deals with analytical calculation of the various flange connections using theory of thin-walled bodies and axisymmetric assumptions. The calculation is demonstrated by one specific geometry configuration. Numerical finite element method was performed to verify analytical calculation model and also this method enabled more in-depth analysis of the prying effect which has negative influence on the bolt connection tensile load. Output from this analysis is prying point location function in plate thickness dependence and application this function into analytical calculation.

Vliv přijetí společné měny euro na export

Urbanová, Daniela January 2019 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the impact of euro adoption on export. Two basic channels of an impact of the adoption of the common currency are identified, namely the reduction of the exchange rate risk and the loss of an autonomous monetary policy. The main contribution of the thesis is the application of the exchange rate stability index and the index of monetary independence as variables representing the mentioned channels and the assessment of their impact on exports in the empirical analysis. The regression analysis of the panel data with fixed effects is used because of the heterogeneity of EU states. In addition to the aforementioned indices, a foreign demand and the nominal effective exchange rate are included in the models. The results indicate that the exchange rate stability index and a foreign demand have a positive and statistically significant impact on export. The empirical analysis uses monthly data for 25 countries of the European Union during the period from January 1994 to May 2017.

‚Washback' efekt maturitní zkoušky z anglického jazyka: perspektiva studentů / The Washback Effect of the Czech 'Maturita' Exam: the Students' Perspective

Rösslerová, Eva January 2022 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to ascertain whether and to what extent English language lessons at Czech secondary schools are affected by the so-called washback effect related to the final leaving examination ("maturita"), and to attempt to define how this potential negative impact may be minimized. The washback effect phenomenon occurs when a (language) course is concluded by a final examination, and describes how such an examination influences the actual curriculum, the instruction as such, and all the participants. Applied linguistics offers a number of both theoretical and empirical studies conducted worldwide which focus on the particular aspects of the washback effect occurring during language examinations. This thesis strives to follow up on the findings of these empirical studies and apply them to the current centralised Czech form of the English "maturita" examination. The thesis was initially inspired by students' observations during English lessons at a Czech grammar school, which were a part of pedagogical education at the Faculty of Arts of the Charles University. After establishing the focus of the paper, preliminary research in the form of semi- structured interviews with four students in the final grades at Prague grammar schools was conducted. While this pre-research study allowed only...

Hvězdicovité polymerní nosiče léčiv pro cílenou dopravu a pH-řízené uvolňování léčiva / Star polymeric carriers of drugs for targeting and pH-dependent release of drugs

Bittner, Matyáš January 2013 (has links)
This diploma thesis brings new data about design, synthesis, physico-chemical characterisation and biological efficacy of the novel star-like HPMA-based conjugates intended for treatment of solid tumors. Recently, many different water-soluble drug delivery systems based on N-(2- hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide (HPMA) copolymers have been described. Here, we report synthesis and physico-chemical characterisation of high molecular weight star-like HPMA- based polymer carriers with low polydispersity prepared by controlled grafting of HPMA copolymers onto PAMAM dendrimer core. With the aim to keep the polydispersity of drug delivery system as low as possible, reversible Addition-Fragmentation Chain Transfer (RAFT) polymerisation was used for HPMA-based polymer precursor preparation. The end groups of the polymer presursors was afterwards used for grafting using carbodidimide condensation reaction or copper free click chemistry on polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendrimers resulting in a formation of star-like high-molecular-weight (HMW) drug carriers. Described synthetic procedure provided preparation of star-like HMW drug carriers with Mw between 1.105 - 3.105 g/mol and narrow distribution of Mw. The model drug, doxorubicin (Dox), was attached to the hydrazide group containing polymer cariers by pH- sensitive...

Cenová konvergence a determinanty reálných měnových kurzů v nových členských zemích EU / Price Level Convergence and Real Exchange Rate Determinants in the New Member States of the European Union

Pospíšilová, Andrea January 2013 (has links)
Differences in price levels as well as inflation rates among countries have been subject of discussion for a long time. More than the actual levels, however, the question of determinants of price levels in time and a possible convergence is key for the new member states with respect to the Maastricht criteria. The dynamics of price levels is crucial, and many suggestions have been put forward to explain the observed trends and changes. This thesis focuses on the determinants of relative price level, and hence real exchange rate, developments in the new member states of the EU and employs a regression analysis to examine their change in time. As most of the countries in focus are transition economies, structural variables are also included among the independent variables. We find that the Balassa- Samuelson effect is key to explaining real exchange rate developments as the effect of productivity differential has been significant over the whole period examined. However, in the recent years, marked by the onset of the crisis, other factors, such as the structure of trade and Euro area membership, have become more prominent.
