Softwarový analyzátor zvukových efektů / Software Analyzer for Audio Effects

Frenštátský, Petr January 2014 (has links)
The utilisation of personal computers for a conditioning of audio devices has shown a significant increase, since the digital signal processing (DSP) was introduced. The expansion of the DSP has allowed implementing analyses to obtain frequency and linear characteristics, distortion parameters (THD, THD+N, WHD, SINAD), a rate of crosstalk or a signal-to-noise ratio. In this work a software analyser is developed, which is able to obtain qualitative parameters of hardware audio devices that are connected with a sound card. For an efficient communication between the sound card and the personal computer the ASIO driver is used. The application is capable to measure audio effects that are implemented in VST plug-ins. The software is developed in C++ language and the implemented analyses are based on the AES17 recommendation.

Smetana, Jan January 2016 (has links)
This master thesis deals with the possibilities of traffic of nuclear power unit at thermal and power effect at the end of the campaign, focusing on VVER reactors. For a better idea of the reader the design of key components of the unit in terms of performance is analysed. Parameters of relevant components for Dukovany NPP are presented briefly. The possibilities of traffic of nuclear power unit on thermal and power effect at the end of the campaign are particularly demonstrated on the example of the Dukovany NPP. Furthermore the program Moby-Dick is introduced and the basic possibilities for its use to calculate the course of the campaign are described. At the end of the thesis, we conducted sample calculations for the duration of the campaign on the fourth block of the nuclear power plant.

Příprava a vlastnosti tenkých vrstev konjugovaných polyelektrolytů / Preparation and properties of thin layers of conjugated polyelectrolytes

Slunečková, Veronika January 2010 (has links)
The study shows strong influence of the conformation of the main chains of polythiophenes in solutions on their spectroscopic properties. The conformational changes affect strength of interactions between neighboring chains and lead to the formation of aggregates of stacked polythiophene chains. Stacked chains show red shift of the optical absorption and lead to visible vibronic structure of absorption bands. Multilayered systems prepared by periodic adsorption of the cationic and anionic polythiophene polyelectrolytes on various substrates show proportionality of the overall layer thickness to the number of coatings, which allows a control of the layer thickness. Adsorption of the conjugated polyelectrolytes on the anatase form of titanium dioxide show better penetration of the anionic polythiophene to porous anatase. The adsorption of polymer into the mesoporous structure is not complete: maximum adsorption of PTTA (poly(thiophene-3-ylacetic acid)) adsorbed on anatase do not correspond to the inner surface of mesoporous anatase. Alternating adsorption from the solutions of polythiophene with anionic and cationic side groups on mesoporous anatase allows preparation of the Graetzel-like photovoltaic cell provided that the adsorption process starts with the anionic polythiophene and the layers are deposited...

Specifika využití svěřenského fondu v obchodních vztazích / The Specifics of Use of Trusts in Business Relations

Žižka, Filip January 2020 (has links)
The Specifics of Use of Trusts in Business Relations This thesis deals with possibilities brought by trusts (in Czech: svěřenský fond) to business relations. It analyses the key features of a trust, thanks to which it has a unique and often irreplaceable position in number of financial transactions. Selected financial transaction are described in detail and the importance of trusts in these transactions is explained. The main objective of this thesis is to show that trusts have benefits far beyond the governance of personal property and its intergenerational transfers. By this I want to prompt interest in further research of the use of trusts in business relations in the Czech legal environment. After the introduction, the first chapter of this thesis briefly introduces the history of the trust. It is outlined which role the trust played in different legal systems and what were the motives for its development. The second part describes trust as an institute of civil law. There is also described the implementation of the trust into the legal system of the Canadian province Québec, because this regulation served as a model for the Czech lawmakers. This chapter of the thesis also describes the subjects of the trust and the basic concepts related to this institute. The third part introduces the trust...

Prodyšnost polymerních materiálů ve výrobě nábytku a jejich hedonické působení

Capíková, Alena January 2018 (has links)
This work is focused on verifying the permeability and olfactometric assessment of emissions from selected polymeric foam materials and foam rubber. The olfactometric assessment is based on the analysis of identified and identified volatile organic compounds. The research was conducted by taking samples of the emissions from a small-space sampling chamber. Emissions were analyzed by gas chromatography with mass spectrometry and their assessment by the assessor was performed by dynamic olfactometry. The work was supplemented by designing its own experimental procedure of mechanical stress of foam materials and changes in climatic conditions in the air-conditioning chamber in connection with release of emissions. Standard testing procedures according to European standards (EN ISO 16000-9, ČSN 13725 and EN ISO 7231) have been used to test these properties. The aim of the work is to verify selected properties of polymeric foam materials ? permeability and olfactometric assessment related to the analysis of volatile organic compounds. It also involves permeability is a change in breathability, depending on mechanical stress and release of emissions influencing given properties in terms of time, mechanical stress, and changing climatic conditions.

Systematický přehled: Bullwhip efekt

Miková, Veronika January 2019 (has links)
Miková V. Systematic review: Bullwhip effect. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. The diploma thesis is focused on the Bullwhip effect, also known as Forrester effect. The aim of this thesis is to provide a systematic review of the studies dealing with this effect in supply chain management. Part of this is the creation of a meta-analysis to identify and quantify the prevailing conclusions of selected studies and creation of a cluster analysis. Consequently, it is shown that authors identify four major causes of the effect, use moving average, minimum mean square error and exponential smoothing as methods for forecasting. Furthermore, in most cases they insufficiently describe examined sample. Information sharing, using information and communication technologies or number of echelons in supply chain are taken as major tools to reduce effect that help to optimize the supply chain.

Genová exprese porinů a beta-laktamáz během účinku beta-laktamových antibiotik v závislosti na velikosti inokula u klinických izolátů Klebsiella pneumoniae / Dependence of porin and beta-lactamases gene expression on the innoculum size of Klebsiella pneumoniae during the beta-lactam antibiotic treatment

Hepnar, David January 2011 (has links)
Gene expression of porin and beta-lactamases genes during the beta-lactam antibiotic treatment and effect of inoculum size on Klebsiella pneumoniae clinical isolates ABSTRACT In recent years, Klebsiella pneumoniae has been increasingly reported to be one of the most important nosocomial pathogens, and it is usually resistant to many antibiotics. In this work, we focused on the expression of the AmpC group β- lactamase DHA-1 and its negative regulator AmpR, as well as the porins OmpK35 and OmpK36 and on effect of inoculum. We used well-characterized Klebsiella pneumoniae strains in this study. Plasmids obtained from these strains were also transformed into different wild-type Klebsiella pneumoniae strains, which were typed by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) and multi-locus sequence typing (MLST). Gene expression analysis was performed by RT-PCR using specific primers and TaqMan probes. In most strains, expression was dependent on the presence of an inducer. The highly resistant strain showed a different expression pattern, but the expression of blaDHA-1 remained inducible by cefoxitin. Different regulation was also observed in the transformants. Based on our data, we suggest that the previously described regulatory pathway for AmpC is not generally suitable, and we propose that there are more...

Vliv užití cizího jazyka na efekt rámování. / Foreign language effect in framing

Križák, Jan January 2021 (has links)
The main aim of the thesis was to investigate the effect of the use of a foreign language - in this case, English - on the strength of the framing effect in framing types that have not been studied in this respect before. According to the results, framing through the manipulation of emotionally charged keywords is indeed mitigated by the use of a foreign language. The main factors at play here are whether the respondent started learning the foreign language at an early age before the emotion-regulation systems were developed, and whether the respondent is accustomed to using the language routinely. Visual framing yielded the opposite results - in the absence of the keywords, only the effect of greater cognitive load remained for respondents completing the questionnaire in English, which magnified the framing bias. This effect was stronger for respondents whose English skills were weaker and who used English less. In the case of framing using the status quo, the results were inconclusive as there was a bias most likely caused by an inaccuracy in translation.

Kognitivní chyby v procesu masové komunikace / Cognitive errors in mass media communication

Zíka, Vojtěch January 2016 (has links)
This work is based on an assumption that human decision-making process is following several approximate rules (heuristics) that causes predictable and systematic errors in judgement (cognitive biases). Although this stand point is typical for fields like behavioural economics or behavioural law and economics, there is no reason to not apply this logic also on other discipline like a mass media communication studies. This work offers an analysis of the information market where supply side is represented by producers of information (e.g. media organizations) and demand side is represented by consumers of those information (audience). The analysis is focused on factors that cause perceived description of a particular event can vastly differ from this event. One of those cognitive biases which cause different perception of the same media content is called hostile media effect. In respect to this effect, sympathizers with a socially controversial topic tend to perceive information in the mass media as hostile to their own opinion. Previous research concluded that hostile perception is mainly caused by a reach of information which is explained by the selective categorization - although individuals with different worldview can see the same content, they perceive it with a different valence. The valence of the...
