Proces nominálnej, reálnej a štrukturálnej konvergencie k EMÚ (na príklade krajín Vyšehradskej štvorky) / Nominal, real and structural convergence process of the Visegrad group countries to the euro area

Staník, Damián January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis has an ambition to evaluate the nominal, real and structural convergence process of the Visegrad group (also known as V4) countries to the euro area. It also discusses theoretical and methodological issues relating to this process. The first part of this paper deals with some theories which has just started to work with the concept of convergence and were imaginary springboard for the development of other theories. It analyses the Solow growth model that assume convergence between developed and developing countries. This chapter offers a general overview of real convergence measurement, which will be used by evaluation of convergence or divergence process in the V4 countries. We will not observe only the progress of real convergence. In the second part of this thesis we will also examine the nominal convergence trough the price level growth and development of inflation in comparison to the euro area. Next part focuses on identifying relationship between real and nominal convergence due to Balassa-Samuelson effect. The optimum currency area and selected structural parameters of the convergence process will be subject of the final part of this thesis, which will complete our observations of the real, nominal and structural convergence in the V4 countries.

NIMBY efekt: Postoj obyvatel v případě plánované výstavby bioplynové stanice / Not In My Back Yard effect - attitude of local people to a planned construction of biogas plant

Novotná, Miroslava January 2012 (has links)
The aim of the thesis is a research of the "Not In My Back Yard" effect, a negative attitude of local people to a construction of a new and potentially dangerous project in their vicinity. The thesis quantifies strength of the NIMBY effect in Městec Králové, a town where a biogas plant is planned to be constructed. The hypothesis is that the strength of the NIMBY effect is higher for the people who live in a higher proximity to a planned construction than for the people who do not.The hypothesis is evaluated based on data gained by an own survey conducted among residents of the town.Quantification of the NIMBY effect is more frequently a subject of research of foreign studies; empirical studies of biogas plants are rather rare. From this reason I have implemented a study of population of Městec Králové and tried to prove whether presence of the "Not In My Back Yard" effect can be indicated.

Zrcadlové srovnání českých a německých statistik vzájemného obchodu / The mirror comparison of Czech and German statistics of mutual trade

Heczková, Markéta January 2012 (has links)
The final thesis is aimed at mirror comparison of mutual trade between the Czech Republic and Germany. On the basis of the comparison of Czech and German methodologies of foreign trade and consequential analysis of their mirror comparison focused especially on effect of the Czech Republic's accession to the EU (access effect) were individual abnormalities affecting mirror comparison identified and described. There were several solutions put forward so that already detected abnormalities could be effectively dissolved, moreover their figure in mirror comparison could be eliminated and data acquired from the comparison would reach as high level of credibility as possible. The Single flow and Qualified single flow systems are described and discussed in relation to mirror comparison because they are possible and already existing plans for simplification of Intrastat.

Fight or not fight piracy: Is ACTA what we really need? / Bojovať alebo nebojovať proti internetovému pirátstvu: Je ACTA naozaj to čo potrebujeme?

Regináč, Jozef January 2012 (has links)
Internet piracy has recently been addressed by several policies introduced in US, such as SOPA and ACTA. These policies suggest the general opinion to be that piracy reduce profits. The focus of this thesis is therefore put on the introduction of theoretical concept capable of describing possible piracy impacts and then showing empirical observations to prove it. We developed our own modified time-dependent model of demand function with network effect, which suggests that piracy can have indeed different results on producers' profits depending on the conditions. Further, we showed on real data that the resulting piracy effect in film industry is indefinite and piracy in other industries results in various outcomes.

The music, in generaly, can calm down a human internally. The effect of Mozart’s music can even be measured. Students, who listened Mozart’s music, had higher IQ result and epileptiform activity is describing on patients with epilepsy. This master’s thesis is dealing with design of the evaluation system, which can determine music parameters describing epileptiform activity. In the solution is make detailed analysis of the tracks, signal parameterization, description of data processing and make the Pearson correlation analysis. In the final chapter are described music parameters, which suppress epileptiform activity in the women and the man.

Anticurtaining - obrazov filtr pro elektronovou mikroskopii / Anticurtaining - Image Filter for Electron Microscopy

Dvok, Martin January 2021 (has links)
Tomographic analysis produces 3D images of examined material in nanoscale by focus ion beam (FIB). This thesis presents new approach to elimination of the curtain effect by machine learning method.  Convolution neuron network is proposed for elimination of damaged imagine by the supervised learning technique. Designed network deals with features of damaged image, which are caused by wavelet transformation. The outcome is visually clear image. This thesis also designs creation of synthetic data set for training the neuron network which are created by simulating physical process of the creation of the real image. The simulation is made of creation of examined material by milling which is done by FIB and by process displaying of the surface by electron microscope (SEM). This newly created approach works precisely with real images. The qualitative evaluation of results is done by amateurs and experts of this problematic. It is done by anonymously comparing this solution to another method of eliminating curtaining effect. Solution presents new and promising approach to elimination of curtaining effect and contributes to a better procedure of dealing with images which are created during material analysis.

Rozpoznávání pohybujícího se objektu pomocí MIMO radaru / Localization of a Moving Target using a MIMO Radar System

Šulc, Martin January 2013 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to estimate parameters of the moving target using different radar configurations. First the Doppler effect and the time delay of the received signal is examined. The investigation of these phenomenons is made for radial and non-radial movement of simple monostatic radar configuration and after that for the bistatic and multistatic MIMO configuration. The ambiguity function is presented for all these configurations. The ambiguity function is then used to estimate target parameters from the received signal. The received signal model and ambiguity function for the monostatic radar configuration is developed using Matlab software. Finally the practical use of these implementations is presented and compared.
