Vliv biomanipulací s účelovou rybí obsádkou na vývoj kvality vody vodárenské nádrže Hamry

Jurek, Lukáš January 2016 (has links)
I have dealt in my thesis with biomanipulation on the water reservoir Hamry. The reservoir is located near the village Hamry in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, it is meso-eutrofního character and its size (about 42 ha of water surface) and an average depth of 2 m is ranked among the smaller, shallow tank. Biomanipulation measures are there implementation and monitored in the long term (since 2008).Biomanipulation implemented in 2015, which mainly consist of removing unwanted species of fish from the reservoir were implemented by different methods at all ontogenetic levels of fish. That means collecting eggs perch Perca fluviatilis, L., seinings of juvenile stages panktivorous species of fish, as well as seinings and elimination of adult unwanted fish species. Part of the seinings were catching spawning shoals of bream Abramis brama, L. and roach Rutilus rutilus, L. With those biomanipalition actions was carried collection and evaluation of samples of zooplankton, phytoplankton, hydrochemical analyzes and physico-chemical parameters of water. Also were investigated phosphorus content in sediments. Some of the data I obtained and evaluated actively (especially zooplankton), other data were evaluated by specialists from ÚBO AV ČR Brno, or employees of the Department of Fisheries and Hydrobiology at the Institute of Zoology, Fisheries, Hydrobiology and Apiculture MENDELU Brno and I have only used this data to compare the efficiency of the imlpemented biomanipulation.

Posouzení efektivity kapitálového trhu a výběr vhodné investiční strategie / The Examination of the Capital Market´s Efficiency and the Selection of Suitable Capital Strategy

SLÁDKOVÁ, Petra January 2010 (has links)
In my diploma I analyzed the USA capital market. I concentrated on 5 representative branches of this market - the biotechnology, the food industry, the car industry, the mining and the finances. 12 companies, which quote their share of stocks in the american capital market, were choosed. I tested the efficiency of this capital market and tried to establish the rate of this market´s efficiency. Later the best strategy was added to the rate of capital market´s efficiency. I counted the average decree, the standard deviation, the variation coefficient, the {$\alpha$} coefficient and {$\beta$} coefficient at the choosed share of stocks. I accomplished the correlative and the runs testing, which were supposed to certify the efficiency of market. The certain anomalies as The Day of the Week Effect, The January Effect and The Size Effect were investigated in more detail. Further I was considering if either the active or the passive strategy should have been used. I concluded that the active strategy is better for investors in times of the financial crisis. I also analyzed P/E ratio at choosed companies. The performated testing shows that the american market of shares is effective, it has the form of low efficiency peak-form efficient markets hypothesis.

Anomálie na finančních trzích / Financial Market Anomalies

BUREŠ, Vladislav January 2016 (has links)
The first part of thesis describes the Efficient Market Theory, its characteristics and forms. Another theoretical approach are Behavioral Finances that can also explain the stock market price making. The main topic is Financial Market Anomalies that defy the Efficient Market Theory. Anomalies state that an investor is able to achieve above average profits in the long term regularly. The thesis is focused on two anomalies selected for further testing on the data of companies traded on German exchange Xetra. Data was obtained from Yahoo Finance and processed for statistical tests. Anomalies occurrence was scarce, therefore it cannot be said that an investor is able to achieve above average profits in the long term regularly.

Skin efekt ve vysokootáčkových elektrických strojích. / Skin effect in high-speed electrical machines.

Klíma, Petr January 2019 (has links)
This master thesis deals with the suppression of the skin and proximity effects in high-speed machines. The first part summarizes the general knowledge of high-speed machines. The second part is devoted to the principle and possible suppression of consequences caused by skin and proximity effects. The third part shows the simulation results of models of a synchronous machine with permanent magnets. The results of these simulations reveal the consequences of skin and proximity effects. In addition, design measures are proposed to limit these and other undesirable phenomena to achieve the highest possible efficiency.

Studium fyzikálních vlastostí magnetických oxidů spektroskopickými metodami / Studium fyzikálních vlastostí magnetických oxidů spektroskopickými metodami

Zahradník, Martin January 2014 (has links)
Two groups of magnetic oxides were investigated in this thesis. Thin films of La2/3Sr1/3MnO3 (LSMO) deposited by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) on SrTiO3 (STO) substrates were characterized by polar and longitudinal magneto-optical (MO) Kerr spectroscopy. Experimental results were compared to theoretical calculations based on the transfer matrix formalism. A very good agreement between experimental and theoretical data revealed high magnetic ordering down to 5 nm of film thickness as well as a mechanism of suppression of double exchange interaction near the LSMO/STO interface. Magnetically doped Ce1-xCoxO2-δ films deposited by PLD on MgO (x = 0.05 and 0.10) and oxidized Si (x = 0.20) substrates were studied by combination of spectroscopic ellipsometry and MO Faraday and Kerr spectroscopy. Both diagonal and off-diagonal permittivity tensor components were obtained and verified by theoretical calculations confronted with experimental data. Diagonal spectra revealed two optical transitions from oxygen to cerium states. Off-diagonal spectra revealed two paramagnetic transitions involving cobalt ions. An essential influence of cobalt doping on the resulting ferromagnetic properties of CeO2 was observed.

Nejistota na Finančních Trzích v USA a její Přelévání na Evropské Akciové Trhy / The US Financial Market Uncertainty and Its Spillover to European Stock Markets

Karolík, Richard January 2021 (has links)
This thesis studies the spillover of the financial market uncertainty arising from the United States to three major European stock markets by analyzing the impulse response functions that were estimated using the local projections method. European stock markets are represented by their corresponding in- dices: the DAX 30 index for Germany, the CAC 40 for France, and the FTSE 100 for the United Kingdom. The results prove the existence of uncertainty spillover from the United States into Europe with the negative relationship be- tween the performance of a particular stock market and the uncertainty shock emerging from the US. Additional analysis examines the response to uncer- tainty shock for the two subsamples based on the Lehman Brothers collapse. The results show a possible interesting improvement in the ability to recover from uncertainty shock since the collapse of Lehman Brothers and can serve as a starting point for the further analyses in the field. Vliv vzdělání na zdraví: Případová studie České republiky / Effect of education on health: The Czech Republic case

Pažitka, Marek January 2014 (has links)
Previous research has uncovered a large, positive and causal link between education and health. This paper is devoted to examining the topic in the former Czechoslovakia. My analysis is conducted on a data set pooled from the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE). I utilize a continuum of ages at school entry, caused by the use of a single school cut-off, to identify the effect of education on health, which is uniquely created from the PCA method and using 30 questions of the SHARE. Therefore, I apply instrumental variable approach with a month of birth as an instrument for education. The results from the first-stage suggest that the instrument is not valid, since a correlation between the instrumental (Month of birth) and the instrumented variable (education) is very low and insignificant. The results remain insignificant even after adjusting for different measures of education, health, institutional changes or heterogeneous effects. As the most probable cause, I state the inability to control for non-compliers in my instrumental variable regressions. As a consequence, all the results regarding the link between education and health are inconclusive. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
