Reálná a cenová konvergence České republiky a nových členských států Evropské unie / Real and price convergence of the Czech Republic and the new Member states of the European Union

Nováková, Veronika January 2015 (has links)
This Thesis deals with the convergence of European states and identifies the influence of the European union enlargement in 2014 on the course of convergence. Both real and price convergences are analyzed by using beta convergence and sigma convergence concepts. The Balassa Samuelson effect is tested as well. The Balassa Samuelson effect explains the existence of price convergence and also indicates the relationship between real and price variables. The existence of real and price convergence was verified for the whole period from 1995 to 2013. During 2004 the integration of European states was strengthened, which was significant for real convergence because the speed of convergence was positively influenced. As for the price convergence, the year 2004 was insignificant as the break point. Despite a similar course of both convergences, price convergence was more affected by the crisis in 2008. The presence of Balassa Samuelson effect was confirmed. Despite the complications during intensity measurement, caused by problematic dividing into tradable and non tradable sectors, corresponding values are realistic.

Metody kvantifikace hodnoty ohrožených nemovitých památek / Methods of quantifying the value of threatened immovable monuments

Merta, Petr Unknown Date (has links)
Dilapidated immovable cultural monuments, care for them, their salvation and any other use or conservation for future generations is the last time hot topic. Despite the xpensive maintenance and often significantly (whether awaited or already paid) investments in these objects we are more and more aware that these monuments are an integral part of the cultural heritage which uniquely demonstrates creative work, effort, attempt, way of thinking and craftsmanship of previous generations, making it an indispensable and irreplaceable source of knowledge of national history and it is our moral responsibility for the cultural heritage of the past to properly take care of. More and more it is true that the level of preservation of the monuments reflects the maturity of the social system, the public sentiment and democracy in the country. In this doctoral thesis the issue of cultural immovable monuments, definitions of basic concepts in terms of valid and prepared legislation and a general description of conservation including points of view on the value of historically valuable objects and the determination of this value, is introduced. Furthermore, the basic methods usable precisely for the quantification of value including examples of their use, description of the suitability for specific needs or drawbacks of each method, are processed. The proposed methodology for quantifying the value by using multipliers is carefully documented and then presented on a specific investment objective of reconstruction and further use of the dilapidated cultural immovable monument. The aim of the doctoral thesis is to prove or disprove that the use of the multiplier of production of the national economy can build the appropriate method for quantifying the value of investments in immovable cultural monument.

Kvantitativní analýza matricových prvků metodami SIMS a LEIS / Quantitative analysis of matrix elements using SIMS and LEIS methods

Staněk, Jan January 2019 (has links)
This thesis studies comparison and connection of two spectrometric methods – low energy ion scattering spektrometry (LEIS) and secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS). SIMS method, despite its many positive qualities, suffers of so called matrix effect, which makes quantifiaction of data very difficult. LEIS method on the other hand is immune to this effect and so it’s suitable completion of SIMS method. As a convenient sample have been chosen AlGaN samples with various concentration of gallium and aluminium. In the first part of thesis is introduced physical essence of SIMS and LEIS method, experimental details and studied samples. In second part of the thesis there’s a description of measurements and comparison of data gained by each method.

Vícekanálové metody zvýrazňování řeči / Multi-channel Methods of Speech Enhancement

Zitka, Adam January 2008 (has links)
This thesis deals with multi-channel methods of speech enhancement. Multichannel methods of speech enhancement use a few microphones for recording signals. From mixtures of signals, for example, individual speakers can be separated, noise should be reduced etc. with using neural networks. The task of separating speakers is known as a cocktail-party effect. The main method of solving this problem is called independent component analysis. At first there are described its theoretical foundation and presented conditions and requirements for its application. Methods of ICA try to separate the mixtures with help of searching the minimal gaussian properties of signals. For the analysis of independent components are used different mathematical properties of signals such as kurtosis and entropy. Signals, which were mixed artificially on a computer, can be relatively well separated using, for example, FastICA algorithm or ICA gradient ascent. However, difficult is situation, if we want to separate the signals created in the real recording enviroment, because the separation of speech people speaking at the same time in the real environment affects other various factors such as acoustic properties of the room, noise, delays, reflections from the walls, the position or the type of microphones, etc. Work presents aproach of independent component analysis in the frequency domain, which can successfully separate also recordings made in the real environment.
