Paauglių estetinės refleksijos ugdymas dizainu / The Development of Teenagers’ Aesthetic Reflection by Design

Grigaliūnaitė, Gedutė 08 April 2005 (has links)
The aesthetics of material environment grounded on design influences us. We are sensitive to space (to its certain volume); it influences our psychological state. Everyone of us encounters material environment as a user, perceiver or creator. Modern teenager finds it quite difficult to perceive himself and his relation with the surrounding reality or the forms of reality. It is even quite difficult to tell what is material environment. Modern technologies can easily present fiction, imitation as a reality, which we start trusting, perceive and live in. The man communicates with the environment and information. His imagination has to start to evaluate, form and change the material environment in a creative way, employing cognitive, logical and emotional processes. Design as designing of material environment, artistic constructing, creation of aesthetic appearance combines art, science and technics. Aesthetic cognisance is significant in its evolutionary sense too, because it enables to model and describe internal and external world, which surely would be impossible to represent just in the rational way. Aesthetic value describes the so-called object, on one hand as the totality of peculiarities and various relations, and on the other hand, as the relation of those peculiarities and the man with the environment (natural, social, material). This research work provides a broader analysis of aesthetic reflection of design as one of the types of aesthetic activities. Design... [to full text]

VASAROS HARMONIJA / SUMMER HARMONY

Daniliauskienė, Jolanta 07 September 2010 (has links)
The subject of the graduation thesis is “Summer Harmony”. The aim of this work is to reveal the experienced emotions, with the help of colours to convey the harmony of the nature, the rhythm as well as the characteristics of constantly changing light and colour. The painting consists of three scenes which are done in classical different painting techniques, in acrylics. The objectives. To prepare a theoretical analysis of the sources of the work; to review the reasons for the choice of the topic; to describe the experimenting and searching path and the performing techniques; to present the theoretical material on applicability of the topic in pedagogical work; to write the conclusions and to do a painting. The conclusions. In aesthetics the problem of the art and its knowledge is developed as a part of the artistic identity problem. The artistic values satisfy certain aesthetic human needs. An art work is only a tool to facilitate that knowledge which makes aesthetic satisfaction. Impressionists were the first to depict not the nature itself but the emotions caused by it and the first impression. Their works have made a significant impact on the development of the painting. One of the most important tasks of a modern art teacher is to liberate the individual׳s creativity, to teach students to master different techniques which could open unlimited opportunities to express themselves, to let them experience the joy of the creative process.

Krajinný soubor Štvanický ostrov Praha. Revitalisace a nové využití. / Prague Island Štvanice Revitalisation and new usage

Tomašek, Andrej January 2016 (has links)
In this thesis we focused on analyzing and defying current state and functions of the Štvanice Island. We were dealing with functional and spatial layout of sports activities and traffic situation on the Island with regard to the historical and aesthetical side of this area. We tried to bring back the potential of the park, with better use of current sports activities, and to remove all of the static traffic from the Island. In the process of making this thesis we were focused on defying the state of vegetation, road system and overall functionality of the whole area. In our project we offer urban and landscape solutions which deliver a functional, ecological and aesthetic asset. At the end we dealt with modernization of the part of the Island which is associated with sports activities and free time where we bring new solutions of urban space together with new types of vegetaion. One of the major parts of our project is an underground parking structure which is used for all of the static traffic on the Island. This parking solution brings more natural character for the Island.

Přírodní prvky a struktury v obrazu českých měst / Natural elements and textures in the image of Czech cities

Hejtmánková, Barbora January 2015 (has links)
PhD thesis deals with the impact of natural elements and structures in the image of the city. Topic is on the edge of urbanism, urban composition, aesthetics and landscape protection. This topic is often mentioned in relation with the identification and evaluation of landscape character. Landscape character significantly affects the urban structure of a city -- foundation of the city and functional layout; It is also reflected in the spatial and urban composition. Image of the city can be analyzed from different perspectives, just as it is possible to analyze the urban composition. Image of the city is solved by number of methodologies and PhD theses, although there are rather focused on the landscape or the town silhouette in surrounding landscape. This PhD thesis is focused on natural elements and structures in the city. So it is not about a city in a surrounding landscape but about townscape. It analyzes the image of the city and follows the methodology of Michael Hexner -- it evaluates the image of the city with regard to relationship of urban structures and natural elements with respect to their visual expression and visual appeal. Conclusions of the work define a relationship between the application of natural elements in the image of the city and its positive acceptance, perception and evaluation. The thesis is mainly focused on assessment of an aesthetic and compositional relationship of natural elements inside the city.

Visual preferences for wind turbines

Běťáková, Vendula January 2016 (has links)
This dissertation is a selection of three papers focused on visual preference of wind turbines. Visual impact presents the connectivity of the articles, whereas each one deals with the topic from different perspective. First paper "Wind turbines location: How many and how far?" analyses in detail the characteristics of wind turbines themselves, i.e. their number and distance from observer or vantage point in relation to landscape quality. Second paper "How education orientation affects attitudes toward wind energy and wind farms: implications for the planning process" concentrates on respondents´ characteristics, in particular educational orientation, general attitude, occurrence of WTs in respondents´ vicinity and willingness to live close to WTs. Whereas first two papers use same assessment method to analyse differences of WTs perception from different point of view, the third paper "Futuristic Wind Power Systems Suitable as Artistic Sculptures" presents review of WTs appearance in general and proposals of possible future look as an alternative to traditional wind turbines.

Organicita jako estetická koncepce v současné hudbě / Organicity as an Aesthetic Concept in Contemporary Music

Dřízal, Jan January 2017 (has links)
Diploma thesis Organicity as an aesthetic concept in contemporary music tries through interdisciplinary comparison to point out possible manifestations of organics in a musical context. By organicity is meant the holistic understanding of a music work as an „organism“, in which the whole is to the part as the part is to the whole and which is manifested primarily by its sound shape. The text describes how the concrete musical parameters relate to the organic form and how they model it. The author first defines basic organic characteristics such as homogeneity, causality, non-geometry, processuality, or continuity of the form and then demonstrates them on numerous note examples. It does not create a new theory but seeks to point out the universality of this phenomenon both from the historical point of view and in its current forms. Attention is paid to various types of musical perception, time experience and perception of sound form. The terms „sound object“ and „sound gesture“ integrate into a new context and proposes a new typology of musical processes. The work briefly touches on the origin of thinking about organicity in philosophical and aesthetic discourse.

Estetická zkušenost jako zkušenost náboženská: Gadamer a Luther. / The esthetical experience as a religious experience: Gadamer and Luther.

Taufer, Filip January 2020 (has links)
H.-G. Gadamer prirovnáva skúsenosť umeleckého diela k hre, symbolu a slávnosti a v kontexte symbolu ďalej k náboženskému rituálu - Večeri Pánovej v poňatí Martina Luthera.
