Hoznauerová, Viola January 2014 (has links)
The theoretical part of this diploma thesis aims to summarize the basic information about rehabilitation of a family as a relatively new phenomena in Czech social work with families. Firstly I describe according to a disposable literature functions of a family, its importance to a child as well as the most common problems a family can face. Than I place rehabilitation of a family as an approach into the Czech system of care of vulnerable children and describe disadvantages of the current system. Lastly I decribe the characteristics of rehabilitation of a family as a multidisciplinary approach to family social work. The empirical part of this thesis is based on semi-structured interwievs with profesionals in the field of rehabilitation of a family as well as clients of family rehabilitation services. It aims to find out how can we use educational activities when working with families in danger of social failure. KEY WORDS: family rehabilitation, multidisciplinary approach, families in danger of social failure, case conference Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

En mall för varje fall? : Organisationers beaktanden av barn som har familjeproblem

Thomelius, Malin, Ajax, Frida January 2011 (has links)
The aim of this study, from a sociological perspective, is to gain a better understanding of the efforts by involved organizations (as Social Services, Althea and in school) in Halmstad for children who have family problems. Through interviews with key informants, who in different ways come in contact with children that have family problems, we have received relevant material that illustrates this topic. The results show that organizations are focusing on children in different ways; each having an alternate view and approach in the efforts made for children and their families. In our analysis, which is linked to results and background, we have sed the theories and concepts as a system and life world of Habermas, bureaucracy and power of Weber, and eventually expert systems, trust and ontological security of Giddens. The conclusion shows that it is important to see the big picture in its entirety, not only on the parts and the problem itself.

Šiaulių PRC{profesinio rengimo centro) vaidmuo jaunuolių socializacijos procese / Impact of Šiauliai Vocational Education and Training Centre on young people socialization process

Boverytė, Alma 30 May 2006 (has links)
Young people‘s socialization process, which takes place in Šiauliai Vocational Education and Training Centre (the greatest vocational education and training centre in Lithuania), Construction and Mechanics department, is examined and analysed in the Master‘s work. The family is the initial socialization institution. The general goal of the family is to be an open system with mutual relationship, stability of limits and proper parts. Family, as a system, form a socialization activity Most often, not – attending school children meet with the entire complex of the problems: family problems. Practice has proved that more attention in the vocational education methodology is given to the ideas of the pragmatism. The criterion – referenced admission that would enable to estimate students’ vocational suitability has not been established, yet. The rapid economical growth in the Europeand Union requires constantly improving and competitive society. Theoretical implementation of vocational education and training principles essentially depends upon the mechanism of the labour market, which increases its requirements at present and encourages life – long learning. Nowadays we have an industrial society.

Evidence Of Lives

Cummings, John 01 January 2012 (has links)
Evidence of Lives is a novel that deals with themes of childhood abuse, mental illness, and alienated families. The book opens with the main character, forty-two-year-old Mark Barr, who has returned home from New York to West Virginia after eleven years for his older brother Steve’s funeral. Steve, having died of a heart attack at forty-six, was mentally ill most of his adult life, though Mark has always questioned what was “mentally ill” and what was the result of their father’s verbal and physical abuse during their childhood. When Mark discovers that there is to be no funeral, but a cremation without service, he calls his girlfriend, an attorney back in New York, who tells him he has a “legal responsibility” to voice his brother’s oral will. Just nights before his death, Steve called Mark and conveyed his last wishes to be buried, not cremated. The book unfolds into an odyssey for Mark to discover love for his brother posthumously in a loveless family. Evidence of Lives is a portrait of an oldest brother’s supposed mental illness and unfulfilled life, as well as a redeeming tale of a youngest brother’s alienation from his family and his guilt for abandoning them.

Sanetrníková, Tereza January 2021 (has links)
This thesis analyses the approach to the concept of family in general Czech educational programme, specific educational programs of selected schools and currently used textbooks for Civics. The analysis is put into the context of current state of knowledge of the topic Czech family. Based on these findings, a teaching concept of the topic family at Lower Secondary Schools is presented. The proposed concept aims to help the children understand their family situation as well as prepare them for future situations while respecting the children's privacy. It combines methods of cooperative teaching, competence learning and unstructured staging. In the proposed concept, children form groups representing simulated families and take roles of given family members. A list of supporting teaching materials is attached in the appendix. These materials can be used to create a portfolio of information about the simulated family. KEY WORDS didactics, family, Lower Secondary School, family problems, Civics
