In der Praxis der Architektur beginnt der Entwurf oftmals mit Strichen auf einem weißen Blatt Papier oder einer Serviette, die im Nachhinein mystifiziert als erste Skizze bereits in Konturen die Vision eines Gebäudes in der (Stadt-) Landschaft vorwegnimmt. Nach diesen Strichen folgen meist noch viele Weitere. Am Ende dieser Kette steht nicht selten eine Architekturfotograf_in, die unter bestmöglichen Lichtbedingungen die Raumatmosphäre eines „fertigen“ Gebäudes dokumentiert. Mit der Frage, was zwischen Serviette und Foto geschieht, damit sich Körper und Dinge in den gebauten Räumen bewegen können oder durch die Architektur bewegt werden, befasst sich dieser Artikel. Insbesondere auf diagrammatische Techniken bezogen, lässt sich fragen, wie in der Entwurfsmethodik die Bewegungen von Körpern und Dingen konzipiert werden.

Diploma work Self-portrait's construction within virtual reality works on theoretical base on the topic of man's digital photography displaced at the profile's web sites of internet social networks. The text evolves ontological concepts of the virtual reality and the rhizomatic antistructure in order to point out to the contemporary problem of the "new" media thinking transformation as well as the changing of visual perception of the digital portrait photography coming with new media. The unsolved situation of this transformation leads to the process of web site man's digital photograhies politisation, which the recipient ascribes the role of politician agent to. The work explains the process of photography politisation as a specific kind of co-acting of two types of visuality, that bring a new discussion and a new menace connected with digital photography online exposing to the society. The text's support in psychoanalysis and social constructivist way of thinking allows present the explorational theme as the interdisciplinary problem with the roots much further than there, where is discussed the question of safe online data sharing.

Ethics, credibility and objectivity in the history of photography, especially journalistic This work deals with photography as with a socio-ethical pictorial medium, and covers the period from its invention to the mid-fifties of 20th century. I describe the history and development of ethical aspects of photography in the context of the process from image taking to its publication in the press, and its importance in the context of the time. The photos presented in the thesis are selected from those that have, due to their specific impact at the time they were taken, particular importance, and have extraordinary informative value related to ethical aspects in the historical development of photography. I mention photographers and photos that draw attention to the newly emerged ethical problems enable others to see pains, wickedness and injustice in the society, to rouse conscience of the society, and give impetus to correct these. In this respect, photography has played an important and irreplaceable role. There are also presented photographs documenting ethical failures of whole nations under the influence of monstrous ideologies of charismatic leaders, as a memento for future generations to help them to avoid similar events. The thesis points to the negative phenomenon of Holocaust denial, objective viewpoint of testimony, authenticity of photograph and background of historical consciousness in the context of postmodern situation. If we wanted to use objective testimony of photograph as a valid argument against Holocaust denial, we would have to declare the authenticity of photograph is invalid. The options of its manipulation, both content and meaning, are examined through semiotics of Peirce, mainly through trichotomy icon, index and symbol. In today's pluralistic time, the historical consciousness is proposed as a possible starting point of examination of historical sources, including photograph. The main goal of this thesis is to demonstrate that photography as a visually figurative medium can be adequately used in teaching arts (Art Education). The first step is familiarizing ourselves with the Framework Education Programmes (RVP), the official documents at state level. Claim that photography is overlooked is supported with research of relevant documents dealing with the education of art. Another important step in this regard is to determine the methods used. In this respect I will focus on the concepts put forward by doc. J. V ančát who co-authored writing on RVP in the area of Art and Culture and semiotic pedagogy which is consistent in many regards with the afore-mentioned method. Semiotic analysis of photography serves to discover the potential of photography; this will be done from the Peirce's point of view. Another source is then B. Lazroe's work revealing the elements of photography for work with students in art education. In conclusion, I'll try to connect these particular components.

Die neue Broschüre widmet sich der Bildsammlung des Landesamtes für Denkmalpflege Sachsen. Der Nachlass des in der Broschüre vorgestellten Fotografen Paul Wolff, oder »Lichtbildners«, wie er sich selbst bezeichnete, ist mit über 6 000 Negativen der umfangreichste und bedeutendste Fundus dieser Sammlung. Paul Wolff war ein Fotograf, der seine Zeit auf seine persönliche Weise portraitierte. Neben der klassischen Architekturfotografie, die vor allem in seinen Kunstmappen und Ansichtskarten Ausdruck findet, dokumentiert er mit seinen Aufnahmen das Leben der Bevölkerung in der Stadt und auf dem Land. This paper gives a brief overview on the published and accepted standards and methods for colour photography and print lightfastness measuring and evaluating. A comparison of selected valid standards and evaluation suggestions has been made. Sample sets was produced by various photographic processes and printing techniques. Identical sample sets were used in both long-term and accelerated ageing experiment. In this thesis, the degradation speed is expressed as a formal rate constant, which was calculated from the dependence of normalized gamut volume on the exposure dose. Photographs and prints were compared on calculated lifetime basis. A failure of reciprocity law was observed, which indicates a lower credibility of estimated lifetime predictions based on accelerated ageing.

The goal of this thesis is to improve graphical user interface of Tone Mapping Studio(TMS) program. This program is being developed on the Faculty of Information Technology(FIT), Brno University of Technology (BUT) by doc. Ing. Martin Čadík, PhD. The current program is using framework Qt3 , which is old and not compatible with modern libraries. This program has to be rewritten to support current version Qt5. I will analyze other programs in the area of working with High Dynamic Range (HDR) images and video. Changes for improving the interface will be proposed and UX tests will be done. Second part will consist of comparing plug-ins for converting images to grayscale that already exists in TMS.

The thesis is devoted to analyzing the successful communication of some of the best Czech food bloggers on the social medium Instagram on which the topic of food is trendy. However, I noticed that many food bloggers profiles do not share only food photos, but also their personal photographs. Therefore, my thesis is also devoted to discovering which topics are between analyzed Instagram posts and on the food bloggers profiles the most common. In the communication analysis I focus on how the food bloggers communicate with their followers through texts, photos, hashtags, and how they react to the comments. I also analyze the emoticons and hashtags that they use. In the theoretical part, my thesis focuses mainly on Instagram, it's characterization, functions and methods of how to succeed in this social medium. It also focuses on different aspects of the photograph, "reading" the image, and social semiotics. The social semiotics approach is essential for my research because, on Instagram, the meaning is transmitted by not just one mode, but more modes - all of them are listed above. The empirical part uses qualitative research methods, which is based on content analysis of 3 successful food bloggers - @made_by_kristina, @cukrfree.cz, and @kitchenettehome. This diploma thesis Insight brings philosophical reflection on photographic media in the form of installation with video-projection in space. Issues over problems of photographic media (locked doubles, stopped time, framed imprint of reality, real raw depiction) are opening by using story about creation of picture of a rabbit on the moon in the style of open metaphors in a white room. Through this myth photographic medium gets the concrete form - in the form of symbolic environment with objets and signs. The whole work is free personification of photograph in whose inside the audience may find themselves.
