The presented diploma thesis has an educational character and tries to find a way how to teach geology more attractive at primary schools. It includes authorial proposals for field trip routes and school experiments that can be implemented in lessons or within other educational school activity during school year. The field trips are built to be carried out in the geological park of Bohemian Paradise because of its natural wealth giving many possibilities to be used in teaching geology and other related fields of natural sciences. The experiments are designed to be realized during school lessons, therefore they are meant to be as little as possible time consuming and also the necessary material is supposed to be easily available. A theoretical part of the diploma thesis contains a summary of available natural datasets about the geological park of Bohemian Paradise, a review of the educational principles for organising of the field trips, creating worksheets, experiments and games in teaching process. The principles of creating concept maps are also included. An integral part of the thesis is authorial research with students and teachers via questionnaire survey proving that experiments and field trips are an indispensable component of teaching process and appropriate motivational tools at primary...

Der Rundweg im Naturschutzgebiet „Wachtelberg- Mühlbachtal“ verbindet geologische, botanische und landschaftliche Besonderheiten auf engstem Raum. Unterwegs bestimmt der Pyroxengranitporphyr das Bild. Erleben Sie das Goldene Tälchen, die Muldenaue, von März bis Mai die Blüten der seltenen Kuhschellen und die Trockenrasenvegetation auf dem Wachtelberg.

Die Stationen des Rundwegs machen mit der geologischen Entstehung des Rohstoff s Kaolin, den Lagerstätten im „Land der weißen Erde“ um Mügeln und dem Kaolinabbau vertraut. Kaolin dient insbesondere als Grundstoff zur Herstellung von Porzellan, Steingut, Sanitär- und Elektrokeramik. Johann Friedrich Böttger nutzte den Kaolin aus der Region um Colditz bei der Erfindung des ersten europäischen Hartporzellans, dem „weißen Gold“ Sachsens.

Die Stadt Colditz besitzt neben ihrem berühmten Schloss eine lange Tradition in der Herstellung keramischer Waren. Mit „Colditzer weißer Erde“ aus einer Kaolingrube am nordöstlichen Ortsrand erfanden Johann Friedrich Böttger und Ehrentraut Walther von Tschirnhaus im Auftrag von Kurfürst August dem Starken 1708 das erste europäische Hartporzellan, das als Meißener Porzellan weltberühmt wurde. Es folgte eine bedeutende, heute aber vollständig verlorene Keramikindustrie. Auf den Spuren der Colditzer Keramikgeschichte führen Keramik- Kunst-Spaziergang und -Radroute zu den wichtigsten Standorten einstiger Firmen. Kleine Kunstobjekte am Weg erinnern an ihre zum Teil weltweit begehrten Produkte und die verschiedenen Produktionstechniken.
