Modulace chemokinového profilu lidských makrofágů a renálního epitelu / Modulation of human macrophages and renal epitelium chemokine profile

Pidhorodetská, Halyna January 2018 (has links)
One of the main effects of pro-inflammatory cytokines is the induction of chemokines and the expression of adhesive molecules that regulate the migration of immune cells to the center of the damage. Chemoattractant gradient also provides a physiological delivery of cells to tissues and lymphatic organs under normal circumstances. Chemokines are chemotactic cytokines that form a very large and diverse group of secreted proteins that have many functions both in processes that maintain homeostasis but also in inflammatory states. Production of some chemokines also has a major effect on graft rejection. Further understanding of the mechanisms involved in the acute rejection chemokine could contribute to improving treatment steps in transplantology. In this diploma thesis, serum chemokine levels were monitored in renal transplant patients, but these measurements did not show significant dynamics. Furthermore, the effect of pro-inflammatory cytokines on the release of chemokines from renal epithelial cells and monocytes was studied. Experiments were performed to monitor the levels of individual chemokines such as ENA-78, IL-8, MCP-1, MIP-1 β, RANTES, GRO alpha, THP-1 (monocyte/macrophage cell line), RPTEC (renal epithelial cells of proximal tubules) and RA (renal cell tumor lines). TNF-α (tumor necrosis...

CPLEX-basierte Produktionsablaufplanung

Herdt, Anika, Scheidig, Marcel, Jentner, Chris, Sand, Guido 27 January 2022 (has links)

Rxte And Chandra Observations Of Galctic Microquasars Grs 1915+105 And Gro J1655-40

Bulbul, Gul Esra 01 July 2006 (has links) (PDF)
In this thesis, RXTE timing analysis of Galactic Microquasars GRO J1655-40 and GRS 1915+105, the Chandra and RXTE joint spectral analysis of GRS 1915+105 are presented. We have investigated quasi periodic oscillations (QPOs) in the black hole binaries GRO J1655-40 and GRS 1915+105 observed in 99 and 122 observations made by the Proportional Counter Array (PCA) on board Rossi X-Ray Timing Explorer (RXTE) in both low energy band (2-12 keV) and high energy band (13-27 keV), respectively. Four different X-ray states are seen in the combined characteristics of power spectra, light curves extracted by using All Sky Monitor (ASM) and spectra during 1996 and 2005. Timing analysis of RXTE observations of both of two black hole binaries GRO J1655-40 and GRS 1915+105 displays twin high frequency quasi periodic oscillations (QPOs) which are sometimes simultaneous in high energy band. It is also shown that the time averaged 30 ksec Chandra grating spectrum analysis and RXTE spectrum analysis of recent observation of GRS 1915+105 in the very high state are consistent with the parameters which were mentioned before. We briefly discussed our results and the models on black hole spin and mass.

The Optical Spectroscopic And Photometric Observations Of The Optical Counterparts To The Be/x-ray Binary Systems: Gro J2058+42 And V0332+53

Ozbey, Mehtap 01 August 2008 (has links) (PDF)
The spectroscopic and photometric observations of the optical counterparts to the Be/X-ray binary systems GRO J2058+42 and V0332+53 (BQ Cam), taken with RTT150 (Russian-Turkish 1.5 meter Telescope), are presented in this study. The distance, color and the reddening estimates for both sources, obtained via photometric observations, are consistent with the previous results. The results of our spectroscopic observations performed between May 2006 and June 2008 for optical counterpart to GRO J2058+42 indicate that the double-peaked emission line profile turns into a single-peaked emission after the last outburst of the system. Furthermore, the spectra of the source show clear evidence for the changes in the ratio of the double peaks of H alpha emission line indicative of the precession of the high-density regions confined in the disk. Unlike the spectra of counterpart to GRO J2058+42, the spectra of BQ Cam, taken between September 2006 and December 2007, exhibit single-peaked H alpha and HeI (Lambda 7065 Angstrom) emission lines. In addition, the equivalent width values of H alpha emission lines, shifts from the the laboratory wavelengths for H alpha and HeI emission lines and the variation in optical brightness of BQ Cam show a close correlation.

Boksamtal för barn i sorg : Skildringar av döden i Roy och Alla döda små djur / Book calls for children in grief : Portrayals of death in Roy and All dead small animals

Gustafsson, Jonna January 2019 (has links)
By comparing two picture books, this study examines how death is portrayed in children´s literature. The literature analysis focuses on how text and image depict death and the main characters grief, as well as what message the illustrations convey. The books that will be analysed are ROY by Gro Dahle and Svein Nyhus, which was published in 2009 and All dead small animals by Ulf Nilsson and Eva Eriksson, which was published in 2006. The study will show ways to teach children in grief, based on previous research on children in grief and sorrow processing. And with help from analysis tools, discusses how the books can be used in teaching, through book calls.

"Homo deformis". Fascinace deformovanou podobou lidského těla v českém prostředí mezi léty 1526-1620 / "Homo deformis". The fascination by appearance of deformed human body in the Czech lands between 1526-1620

Sochatzi Babič, Elena January 2021 (has links)
During the 16th century occurred a new phenomen, that the physically disabled people because of they visage were presented as curiosities or miracles. Some cases were so incredible therefore their appearances gave an impulse for creating an artwork. The images were popular between all social levels, were collected by townspeople, scientists, nobles and kings. The dissertation thesis "Homo deformis". The fascination by appearance of deformed human body in the Czech lands between 1526-1620 aims to explore how the phenomen of human curiosities was reflected in early modern visual art in the Czech lands. This dissertation thesis bases on individual examples of human monstrosity in various art forms as an portraits, allegories, scientific illustrations and pamphlets. It exams images of abnormal disabled people between 1526-1620 and focuses on they symbolic meaning, aesthetic interpretation. It summarizes the knowlege about perceptions of depicted abnormal persons in 16th century. It also shows the Early modern society reactions about "homo deformis", their everydayness and social status. This thesis studies reasons why the disabled body was a kind an inspiration for artists. It examines ii the artists of 16th century were able to picture cases of physicality deformed bodies anatomically correctly. It...
