Atypické postavení acromioclaviculárního kloubu u hráčů ledního hokeje a hledání možných příčin / An atypical alignment of the acromioclavicular joint of ice hockey players and searching for possible causes

Bartošová, Veronika January 2018 (has links)
The title of the master thesis: An Atypical alignment of acromioclavicular joint in ice hockey players and the search of possible causes Abstract in English languge: The goal of this thesis is to find out whether atypical acromioclavicular placement of a joint occurs bilaterally in a statistically significant measure with ice hockey players in comparison to a group of individuals who do not play ice hockey professionally and clarify the causes involved in the origin of this placement. Theoretical findings proceed from the anatomy, kinesiology, physiology and biomechanics of the shoulder string, which enables us to understand the matters of this segment and suggest possible pathological changes influenced by a stereotyped and sportive pressure. Part of the theoretical base are also specific pathologies, which form due to burdening the body segments and occur with ice hockey players. An experimental group of active ice hockey players (n1 = 100) in the ages of 13-33 without previous injuries in the area of the clavicle (fracture, luxation) and probands took part in the measurements as well as a group of non-ice hockey players, who had never played hockey professionally (n2 = 100) in the same age group. The measurements were done using the photogrammetric method with the application of a systematic...

Kompenzační program u mládeže v ledním hokeji / Compensation program for youth in ice hockey

Soukupová, Nikola January 2017 (has links)
Title: Compensation program for youth in ice hockey. Objectives: The main goal of this work is to compile and verify the effectiveness of the compansation program for ice hockey players in the older school age category. Methods: In our work, we used the empirical qualitative type of research of one 10 - member control group of ice hockey players of the same age group, aged 12-13, conceived as a quasi-experiment. The muscle imbalances are evaluated in the practical part. Based on the results of the input diagnostics of the postural and phasic muscles we built a compansation program containing a battery of exercises set up to relaase, stretch and strengthen the most problematic areas of the movement apparatus of ice hockey players. The results evaluate the effectiveness of the compensation program, which has been running for ten months. Results: The work proved the hypothesis that the compansation program works. The compansation excercises positively influence the muscle imbalances. The control group has achieved better results in output testing. Keywords: Muscle imbalance, ice hockey, testing, compensation exercises, older school age.

Samband mellan benstyrka och skridskoprestation hos svenska juniorishockeyspelare / Relationship between leg strength and skating performance in Swedish junior ice-hockey players

Persson, Joakim January 2017 (has links)
Skating is a key factor for a successful ice hockey player and strength in the lower extremity is therefore a crucial factor for determination of a players speed on the ice. The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation between power, tested off-ice, and skating speed on ice. Seven male ice hockey players aged 19.5 ± 0.5 years were recruited from a local highschool. They completed a test battery consisting of the Swedish Ice hockey associations strength tests and power measurements in squat. In order to determine which strength variable is the most relevant to skating speed the strength variables were correlated to the results in a skating test called Acceleration and Speed. The results showed significant correlations between 1RM in clean and time on total distance (ρ=0.77, p<0.05) and velocity (ρ=0.77, p=<0.05) in the skating test. A significant correlation was also found between relative strength in clean and velocity (ρ=0.71, p<0.05). The conclusion of this study was that parts of the testing battery is relevant for use when collecting information on a players maximum skating speed.

Významnost vztahů mezi vybranými off ice testy a výkonem v ilinoa agility on ice testu v nejvyšší domácí soutěži vybraných hráčů dorostové kategorie / The significance of link between selected off ice tests and agility ilinoa on ice test in youth ice hockey players from the highest Czech competition

Chvátal, David January 2021 (has links)
Title: Relation between selected off-ice tests and performance in on-ice Illinois Agility test of ice hockey players between 14-17 years old in Czech elite category. Objectives: The main goal of this thesis was to determine whether the somatotype and selected off-ice tests are significant predictors for performance in the on-ice agility test in ice hockey players in the youth elite category. Methods: The research group consisted 28 ice hockey players (8 forwards and 18 defenders) x̅ = 14,88 ± 0,57. Players played highest youth league during the measurement period. The method of Heath and Carter (1990) was used to determine the somatotype. Squat Jump, Countermovement Jump, Free Arm Countermovement Jump, Sit and Reach, pull-ups and off- ice Illinois Agility with a ball were used as off-ice tests. The Aspin-Welch two-samle T-test with Effect size (ES) Hedges' g was used to evaluate the degree of difference in performance between forwards and defenders. Pearson's correlation coefficient with ES coefficient of determination R2 was applied to determine the tightness of relationships between selected variables. Evaluation of the significance of predictors for performance in on- ice agility tests was performed through multiple regression analysis. The significance of the model was assessed according to the...

Title: Transfer regulations in Czech ice hockey and its impacts Objectives: The main goal of this work is, by research, to evaluate the functioning of the current transfer rules in Czech ice hockey and to reveal its shortcomings. Subsequently, to develop proposals for its modifications, which can be applied in the Czech hockey environment. Methods: To obtain the necessary data, the research consists of both quantitative and qualitative parts. Thus, a combination of two methods was used, namely electronic questioning and in-depth interview. The work also used the method of document analysis - the current transfer regulations. The shortcomings and subsequent impacts on the environment of ice hockey have been ascertained from the first expert, and what are the reasons for functioning in current form, from the second one. In both cases, the interview took place as an interview using instructions. Development diagrams were created to interpret the results. To verify the results of in-depth interviews and to find out the possibility of applying potential changes, an electronic survey was conducted among the representatives of individual clubs. Results: The research has shown that the current transfer rules actually have several problems that can negatively affect individuals, but also the hockey...
