育成中心技術創業加值研究 / Study of Added value of incubator to NTBF張道恆, Tao Heng Chang Unknown Date (has links)

Incubator becomes more and more popular and is emphasized in innovation policy in most of the countries. To Nurture New Technological Business Firms (NTBFs), incubators need to provide various services to help the NTBFs to grow up fast and successfully.
Incubators in Taiwan weren't created until ITRI first established in Aug. 1996. Most local researches remained on the description of value and operation of incubators. Not much researchs have been persued based on the local experiences.
In this study we interview tenants in ITRI and National Taiwan University Chin-Lin incubators and incubator's directors. We try to identify the actual value added that are contributed to the NTBFs from initial stage to final stage.
The main conclusions are:
1. NTBFs with parent company supporting, have more balance team and better bussiness networking compared to individual entrepreneur.
2. The needs of NTBFs in different types of entrepreneour team(with or without parant company support) are different in product development stage.
3. The needs of NTBFs market development stage are mainly on management, finance, marketing, next generation product or technology.
4. Incubator's supporting are more directly in company image built up, government R&D subsudy, equipment, R&D cooperation and indirectly in management, finance supporting channel, marketing, next generation product & technology development.
5. Common to all NTBFs , the most significant value added by NTBFs themselves and incubator are technology and team building.
6. Individual entrepreneur, compared to parant company suppot type, have significant capability improvement (by NTBF themselves and incubator ) on marketing and finance.
7. The NTBFs in incubators have the same perception of service effect with incubator managers on "shared services". They have different perception on some of "firm specfic services".

Multifunkční kulturní centrum "Creative City" Brno / Multi-function Cultural Centre "Creative City" in BrnoSekaninová, Jitka January 2015 (has links)
The thesis is a radical reconstruction and completion of a unique brownfield for cultural purposes, incubator of creativity, business and housing. The building is a former penitentiary near the city center between streets Bratislavská, Soudní and Cejl. It is a historical building which is currently unused. The complex for starting young entrepreneurs in a field of culture is supposed to serve as a center for a general public of art, particularly for the areas of so called industry of creativity such as architects, designers, painters, sculptors and also musicians, designers and developers of computer games. The building is historically valuable, especially due to the original vaults in the old part of the building which remain preserverd as much as possible. Only a part of a west wing has been demolished in order to construct a new expressive form as a shape of crystal which attracts the public from the Cejl street as it could be easily overlooked otherwise. The crystal has become a dominant part of the building and servers as a main entrance. A newer, less valuable part of the complex from the Bratislavská street, has been razed so there could be an underground parking and new extensions built serving the commercial and administrative purposes. The extenstions are the two operationally and structurally separated buildings allowing opening the entire area. A coridor which these two extensions create in between expands in a direction towards the legacy parts of the complex, thus the passers-by from a general public are pulled into the creative center through an attractive front-place. The original layou of each wing is retained what influenced their functional use decently. There are studios and workshops for artists located in the existing two floors along with multi-purpose hall, design market and theater hall with a trial rooms. There are additional studios, school of art with drawing and reading rooms and commercial areas situated in the extended floors.

Centrum Ponava Brno, Královo Pole / Ponava Centre Brno, Královo PolePieleszová, Katarzyna January 2014 (has links)
The submission of this thesis was preceded by a specialised studio „Brněnské nábřeží a kulturní čtvrť Ponava“. This work focused on a complex urban architectural solution to the area around the former “Jaselská kasárna”, the urban context, transport services, the field configuration etc. The thesis follows this project in a section defined by streets U Červeného mlýna, Staňkova and Střední. The goal of the thesis lies in the creation of an intensive goal – a cultural area, which will offer a high-quality space for intergenerational communication and new social experiences and activities. It newly connects the urban part Ponava with the town center of Brno by a high-quality axis for pedestrian and cycling transport. The project of this cultural area arose after a thorough analysis of surrounding, intercity and global relations as a combination of aims: for children – the elementary art school with graphic and dancing fields, for seniors – leisure time center, and for all together - a multifunctional concert hall and a revitalized area of the former industrial zone of furniture production to a multipurpose intergenerational area with a modern art gallery, offices for young businessmen, architects and artists, and a music club in the basement of the gallery.
