Film is cultural piece which has quickly become as phenomena of Twentieth Century. Film festivals are celebration of all spectrum of works and theirs authors. Festivals contributes to development of film industry and cinematography. Endeavor to improve organization's effectiveness of this social event can be done by establishing an information system which can help to reach higher attendance and satisfaction of visitors.

In my thesis, I pursue the possibility of using EU funds for financing a project that is primarily focused on education and providing information. The project is submitted by a real non-profit organization and it might be eligible for EU funds support. It deals with enhancing the quality of life in countryside, which should be reached via more effective and perfect access to the up-to-date information. The purpose of this thesis is to create a successful, high-quality educational project with regard to material and financial side of things.

This diploma thesis deals with the information system in company VUES Brno plc. To examination its characteristics are used various methods and analyses. Following results of analyses are proposed the most acceptable changes and improvements regarding to company‘s requirements and economics possibilities.

This work deals with the introduction of information security system in a company that provides internet. It is a hardware and software solutions for the benefit of quality information needed to monitor and manage networks on a professional level. Used solutions are versatile with regard to the diversity of the market and the speed of technology development.

This master´s thesis contains an explanation of basic terms and principals used in an issues of information systems. Part of this thesis are analyses of a current state of an information system in a selected company and evaluation of its effectiveness. A set of improvement propositions of the current state was created based on those analyses with both balance and effectiveness of an IS taken into account.

This master’s thesis deals about Knowledge management in a small organization, and identification of knowledge resources and needs and the integration of knowledge management principles into the daily work of the organization. The theoretical part explains the basic terms and assumptions of knowledge management and shows a multidisciplinary overlap of knowledge management. The practical part deals with analysis of current situation of organization, especially in terms of utilization of knowledge resources and their evaluation, and design an appropriate system for managing knowledge in the organization.

The Diploma thesis is focused on improvement personnel management in PESTAN company. At first is described the theoretical knowledge regards to personnel activities in small and middle companies, which was processed on basis of specialized literature. In the next part I characterized PESTAN company and analyzed its personnel activities. On basis of gained knowledge I determined proposals focused on improving a current situation.

This Master's thesis deals with appraising information system of a company and suggesting its changes. In theoretical part are described basic issues and terms related to information systems. In analytic part is the information system assessed by methods for detecting actual situation. Proposal part is based on the analytic part and its main objective is to design changes to improve current situation with subsequent economic evaluation.
