This work will consider the jewish religious cultural system from the first century of the Christian time and how it influenced the ritual symbolic system of primitive Christian signs, which begings with Jesus Himself. We are going to start with an approach about the religion, searching a huge vision of the cultural phenomenon and the religion function. The main focus turns around three poles: The jewish ritual symbolic system from the Jesus‟ time, as one of the primitive Christianity‟s main roots, the importance of the historical Jesus to the raise of the primitive Christian religion and the transformation of the jewish religion through the post-paschal faith in Christ. The historical Jesus is, from the post-paschal faith on, the presence of the primordial creator and the eschatological judge. He is one with God. The primitive Christian religion, from that time on, is going to find ways to become an autonomous religion, reusing the essence of the ritual symbolic system of jewish signs, and giving them a new meaning from Jesus on / O tema o sistema simbólico ritual judaico do tempo de Jesus, uma das principais raízes do Cristianismo primitivo e sua autoafirmação como religião, envolvem uma análise dos elementos rituais que nortearam o Judaísmo do tempo de Jesus e que serviram de base para o surgimento do Cristianismo primitivo. A presente dissertação levará em consideração o sistema cultural religioso judaico do primeiro século da era cristã e como ele influenciou o sistema simbólico ritual de sinais cristãos primitivos, cujo ponto de partida é a pessoa de Jesus. Iniciaremos com uma abordagem sobre a religião, buscando uma visão ampla do fenômeno cultural e da função da religião. O enfoque principal gira em torno de três polos: o sistema simbólico ritual judaico do tempo de Jesus, como uma das principais raízes do Cristianismo primitivo, a importância do Jesus Histórico para o surgimento da religião cristã primitiva e a transformação da religião judaica mediante a fé pós-pascal em Cristo. O Jesus histórico é, a partir da fé pós-pascal, a presença do criador primordial e do juiz escatológico. Ele é um com Deus. A religião cristã primitiva, a partir de então, vai descobrindo os caminhos para tornar-se uma religião autônoma, reaproveitando a essência do sistema simbólico ritual de sinais judaicos e, ressignificando-os a partir de Jesus

Este trabalho tem como objetivo anotar, traduzir e comentar uma parte da obra da escritora norteamericana Elizabeth Bishop (1911-1979), que viveu no Brasil durante cerca de vinte anos: seus textos de caráter jornalístico relacionados ao país. O mais extenso é o livro Brazil (1962), escrito sob encomenda dos editores da revista Life. O livro foi renegado pela autora, inconformada com as intervenções dos editores, e publicado sob coautoria. O cotejo entre os originais (preservados nos arquivos de Bishop, no Vassar College), o texto publicado em 1962 e as anotações da autora em seu exemplar (preservado na Harvard University) permite apontar as similaridades e, especialmente, os importantes contrastes entre a perspectiva de Bishop e a dos editores. Uma investigação sobre o momento em que o livro surgiu na vida da autora e na história do Brasil e dos Estados Unidos auxilia a compreensão não só do texto, mas também de sua escrita e dos episódios associados à sua edição. O trabalho se completa com a tradução e a anotação de outros cinco textos, dois dos quais ainda inéditos mesmo em inglês, vestígios de um projeto abandonado por Bishop: a elaboração de um novo livro sobre o país. / The aim of this work is to annotate, translate, and comment a part of the writings by Elizabeth Bishop (1911-1979), the North-American writer, who lived in Brazil for approximately twenty years, focusing on her journalistic texts about that country. Her largest piece is a book called Brazil (1962) which was commissioned by the editors of Life magazine. However, the book was rejected by the author who refused to accept the interventions made by the editors. As a result, they co-authored it. Comparing the original (preserved in the Bishop archives at Vassar College) with the published text allows us to compare two different views of Brazil, to highlight similarities and especially the important contrasts between them. A research on the period the book was published focused on the author\'s life, as well as on the history of both Brazil and the U.S.A. helps to understand not only the text itself, but also how it was written and the episodes associated to its edition. The present work includes five additional texts, remains of a project that was abandoned by Bishop: the making of another book on Brazil. Two of these texts have remained unpublished to date, even in English.

Explorando a dimensão estético-simbólica, o estudo indaga sobre a influência da estética dos produtos do mobiliário-popular nas interpretações e associações semânticas e simbólicas dos usuários, objetivando investigar como ocorre a interação e a relação afetiva. Para isso, foi feita análise do público consumidor, considerando o seu perfil, analisando a mudança de hábitos e de consumo que se deu através do aumento significativo da renda e do acesso à informação nos últimos anos, levantando a hipótese de que os usuários e consumidores do mobiliário popular estão mais criteriosos quanto à avaliação do design desses produtos e das relações posteriores que eles desenvolvem com os mesmos. O método estudado abrangeu entrevistas e observações, e utilizou modelo da Interação Significante para classificar e caracterizar as respostas dos usuários nas dimensões prática e emocional. Os resultados do estudo levaram a conclusão de que as pessoas estão insatisfeitas com os produtos do mobiliário popular e, mesmo quando elegem produtos como seus preferidos, para a maior parte dos entrevistados, existe algum tipo de reclamação ou mudança que gostariam de realizar e, na maioria das vezes, essa alteração ou insatisfação está relacionada ao design do produto. / This research shows the user-product emotional relationship, having as object of study products that are part of the popular furniture, following the principle that the affective relationships that people develop with the products interfere not only in the purchase decision, but also in the feeling well-being and attachment to artifacts. Exploring the aesthetic-symbolic dimension, the study inquires about the influence of the aesthetics of popular furniture products on the semantic and symbolic interpretations and associations of users, aiming to investigate how the interaction and the affective relationship occur. In order to do this, the consumer public was analyzed taking into account their profile, analyzing the change in habits and consumption that occurred through a significant increase in income and access to information in recent years, raising the hypothesis that users and consumers of the popular furniture are more judicious as the evaluation of the design of these products and of the later relations that they develop with them. The method studied included interviews, observations, and used the model of Significant Interaction to classify and characterize the users' responses in the practical and emotional dimensions. The results of the study led to the conclusion that people are dissatisfied with popular furniture products and even when they choose products as their preferred, most respondents find that there is some kind of complaint or change they would like to make and most times this change or dissatisfaction is related to the product design.
