Abstract: This is an investigation about the dojo, a laboratorial dance procedure that uses the method Dancer-Researcher-Performer (DRP), created by professor Graziela Rodrigues. The DRT method works to develop the body image of the dancer focusing on his originality, instead of mantaining and perpetuating an idealized body image. The DRP method was conceived in three axis: The "Body's Inventory", the "Cohabituate with the Source" and the "Construction of the Character". The "Body's Inventory" is the main subject of this research, the axis that prepares the dancer to experience the whole method. The dancer investigates his own corporal history and recognizes the psyche and emotional content contained in the body, allowing it to flow freely. This axis is worked inside the dojo, the laboratory of the DRP method. The dojo of DRP is a place where one explores the corporal memory. In the very begining, the dojo of DRP consists of a circle drawn on the floor with chalk, in which the dancer steps inside everyday, facing the images, sensations and emotions, recognizing and giving them movement in a constant application of self-observation of his body image development. In the second axis, the "Co habituate with the Source", the dancer expands his selfknowledge and his action by encountering the world through meeting people, participating in cultural and social manifestations and establishing a research relationship based on a genuine affability. In the third axis, the "Construction of the Character", the dancer makes an esthetic elaboration of his investigations, drawing attention in his body to the most significant aspects and giving birth to a unique personality or "character" which is the offspring of all his encounters with himself and with the other. The Dojo of DRT: a place where pathways bloom elucidates the functioning of the dojo during the "Body's Inventory" axis, making a corporal synthesis of the dancerresearcher in process. As a result, the creative flow was strengthened and the body image became more dynamic.

For Every Part / Proposal to improve the inventory management model in a textile SME based on the Plan For Every PartPumahuare Ayala, Daniel Angel, Argumedo Gonzales, Kusy Nataly 19 August 2020 (has links)
The main objective of the study is to propose a model for improving inventory management for micro and small enterprises (SME) in the textile sector. This model uses the fundamentals of the Plan For Every Part tool and is complemented by Jidoka and the 5S for its implementation, as these two tools provide support in quality management and inventory organization. The Jidoka intervenes in the incorporation of a quality self-control system in each of the current processes by redesigning them, the 5S is in charge of encoding each textile component and providing an easily located physical space; and the Plan For Every Part provides a template with 5 information fields and 22 parameters where all the possible information on a textile component is gathered, such as its location, weekly demand, frequency of purchase and stock availability in real time. Subsequently, three indicators are defined that will serve to evaluate the results of the proposal and the implementation methodology is detailed, which is validated with the help of the Arena Simulation software by representing a current system and a proposed system. The results prove the usefulness of the model in textile SME by increasing effective operational productivity, reducing defective uniforms, and meeting scheduled deliveries. / Trabajo de investigación

Propuesta de mejora de la gestión de inventarios compartidos en una mediana empresa implementando el VMI / Improvement proposal in the management of shared inventories in a medium-sized company by implementing the VMIPiñas Mejía, Jessica Elizabeth 14 November 2020 (has links)
This paper covers the analysis of the operations of an industrial production company that supplies the mining sector with products such as ventilation bands for its operations. For these types of companies, inventory management is vital because it depends on whether the operation is profitable or not, due to the high unit cost of its products. The analysis of the company identified high levels of product stock in the company's facilities, which in the last two years increased the logistics cost of the company, reducing its profitability. This situation implies the need to opt for a system that allows improving the disposition of inventories and the activities generated in their handling. For this, a model based on the implementation of the VMI (Vendor Inventory Management) is proposed to achieve the optimization of the management of the warehouse and inventories of the company CIDELSA. The reason for this proposal arises from the need to control the excess stock generated in the product ventilation sleeves, for which a new inventory management system is proposed in the company, based on the VMI, supported by kanban and management demand forecast information. The results of the application of the model show through the simulation of the process that improvements are achieved in the main inventory indicators such as the increase in the turnover rate, reduction of the stock without movement and the reduction of storage in the company's facilities.

The research addresses the problem of logistics management in a portland cement production company. In the first place, the inventory management process was analyzed whose inventory record accuracy (IRA) was less than 50% due to the causes of lack of control and lack of procedures and indicators.
Second, the purchasing process at the plant is addressed. In 2019, urgent purchases represented 14% of total purchases, which generate cost overruns due to non-planning and the lack of control in the process.
The improvement proposal begins with the design and implementation of cyclical inventories and the implementation of the 5S tool in the warehouse to improve the accuracy of inventory registration. In the case of the purchasing process, it includes implementing the planning of purchases with the Kraljic matrix and the development of indicators for better control.
Finally, with the proposed improvements, it is proposed to increase the reliability of the ERI from 43% to 95% and reduce urgent purchases from 14% to 1% of total purchases per year.

The relevance of the appropriate use of inventory management as a means to improve the profitability of mypes of peruvian crafts in Miraflores 2019López Rojas, Víctor David, Heredia Chara, Alejandro Sebastián 26 October 2020 (has links)
The problem addressed in this study was: The potential importance of performing a proper Inventory Management for Peruvian craft SME (MYPES by its initials in Spanish) in Miraflores throughout 2019. The objective was to determine the relationship between Inventory Management and Profitability within the sector and period aforementioned. Additionally, the purpose was to point out to the craftspeople that do not give importance to the inventory that if they managed it properly, they could improve their profitability. Therefore, through a quantitative, non-experimental and correlational-causal cross-sectional research, what was initially presumed was verified as a result of a survey of 67 craftspeople from Miraflores, in which most of them stated that they had efficient inventory management and positive profitability in 2019. Furthermore, thanks to the Spearman’s Rho test, the relationship between the two variables aforementioned was verified. In conclusion, we can say that even though the surveyed sector is small, a proper inventory management can still help to improve the profitability. However, it was not possible to contrast the information collected with numerical data since most craftspeople do not keep financial statements, and those who do, consider it as private information. / Tesis

Food industries face complicated inventory management problems, since the products are perishable, that is, after a certain time the product will no longer be edible. The problem of the SME of the agro-industrial sector is the inefficiency in inventory control in the warehouse of finished products. Therefore, the importance of this project is to optimize the inventory control of olive products. In addition, the objective of the investigation is to minimize inventory costs, since currently the overcharge is 319 204 soles. For this, the indicators of perfect deliveries, inventory accuracy, stock break and inventory turnover were established so that an increase in each of them and standardization was achieved efficiently. For this reason, the FIFO method and the PHVA (plan-do-verify-act) methodology, also known as the Deming cycle, will be implemented in the agro-industrial company in order to standardize the reception, location, preparation and dispatch processes in the finished goods warehouse.

In the past years, logistics in Peru manifested a drop in fourteen positions in the global logistics performance index (LPI) rank, due to the high cost in logistics operations in which 30% comes from distribution centers. Of this volume, 60% represents the workforce cost whereas manual tasks correspond to 42% of the mentioned workforce cost.
Order picking in distribution centers is manual in most of the cases. Previous studies have shown the existing relationship between workforce performance and an adequate work method designed with the consideration of human factors, which are described by ergonomics. Nevertheless, change management in an order picking management model has not yet been proven successful. Thus, in the current investigation, an order picking management model that aligns ergonomics and work-study techniques is posed. This will help the performance improvement of pickers; on the other hand, change management will be a supportive technique throughout the validation. The investigation will have a case study in a distribution center where a diagnostic will be run and further on the workforce will be trained with a change management perspective in the new model, which helps reduce the damaged inventory in the logistics operation.
Finally, results will be shown, as the model must be evaluated in four aspects: the final percentage of damaged inventory, ergonomics index, efficiency in order picking and total cost of overtime. The main metric for performance evaluation of the model is presented by the reduction of damaged inventory from 4% to 1%.

The objective of this thesis is to identify if there is any correlation between the avoidable costs in maritime import operations and the level of service provision, showing results on the implementation carried out in one of the main companies in the import and distribution of professional gastronomic equipment category from the city of Lima. After implementing the approved implementation for 2017, avoidable costs in maritime import operations were reduced by 13.85% compared to the previous period. It was shown that the avoidable costs (r = 0.75) has a high and positive relationship with the service level, that is to say that as they decrease and the company stops assuming these, their level of service may be better. For the presentation there is a structure of five chapters:
In the first chapter, the theoretical framework, detailed concepts related to avoidable costs in maritime import operation, service level, optimal quantity to order, safety inventory, reorder point and total inventory management costs. In addition, information was shown about the company where the improvements were implemented. In the second chapter, topics were explained in relation to the research plan, making known the problem, the formulation of the hypothesis, the general objective and the specific ones. In the third chapter, the methodology of the research was discussed, where the approach and design, the population, the definition of variables and the data collection were determined. In the fourth chapter, the research was developed calculating avoidable costs in 3 levels of service. Two scenarios were established (with avoidable costs and no avoidable costs) to the sub-variables service levels, optimal quantity to be ordered, security inventory, reorder point and total inventory management costs. Finally, the fifth chapter showed the analysis of results answering the problem if there is a correlation between the avoidable costs in maritime import operation and the level of service provision, and we will provide conclusions and recommendations on the research developed. / Tesis

[en] Now a day the environmental quality is generating discussions around the world. In this context, the main subject is the global warming and the greenhouse emissions. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change studies, the world is experiencing an increase on its average temperature due to anthropogenic emissions that come mainly from burning fossil fuels (primary cause of the increased concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere) causing the greenhouse effect. It is well known that the atmosphere is composed of various gases, however, some of them act like a blanket in the terrestrial coverage (and therefore are commonly called greenhouse gases) due to the fact allow the ultraviolet rays and solar radiation penetrating into the earth s atmosphere and retain infrared radiation, they are: water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and chlorofluorocarbons. Scientists believe that global warming was being intensified due to human activities, especially the beginning of the industrial revolution that have intensified the amount of burning fossil fuels and the forest degradation. According to Stern (2007), the earth s temperature increased about 0.7 Celsius degrees since 1900, for that reason, it is believed that global warming has a close relationship with the increase of the greenhouse gas emissions, especially carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane ( CH4- commonly measured in terms of equivalent CO2). Despite the uncertainty of the consequences of the CO2 emission, especially in the long run, it is expected that there is a relationship between the increase of this gas and the occurrence of climatic disasters in the world, since unlike most pollutants it s externality occur globally and not locally (IPCC, 2007). According to Schipper and Pelling (2006), climate change resulting from increased greenhouse gas emissions should lead to an increase in global average temperature, which will result in changes in rainfall regime in the coming decades and changes in the frequency and magnitude of risks such as floods and tropical cyclones, for example.
