Christian motifs in the poetry of Jan Zahradnicek Abstract The goal of this thesis is to capture development and change of religious motifs in poems of Jan Zahradnicek and reflect on them the phenomenon of faith in poet's life with respect to the life events that shaped it. The thesis tries to define basic spiritual thelogical starting points of Zahradnicek's poetry and to point out the relationship between literature and theology. The aim of this work is to find and examine the constant features and development of Zahradnicek's Christological reflection: biblical basis, christological images, incarnation, mystery of Jesus' life, theology of the cross and soteriology. BE WHERE YOU ARE: THE IDEA OF MONASTIC STABILITY IN JOHN CASSIAN The thesis examines the role of stability in the texts of patristic author John Cassian, who is concerned with the spirituality of the early Egyptian monasticism. The theme is briefly presented in relation to author's life and writings. A detailed lexicological analysis shows which words and with which meaning Cassian uses to express the idea of stability. The third chapter forms the core of the study - it describes five main aspects of the studied idea: i. e. the stability of vocation (stabilitas professionis), the stability of place (stabilitas loci), the stability of heart (stabilitas cordis), the stability in the good (stabilitas boni) and God's stability (stabilitas Dei). These aspects are delineated as successive degrees of a spiritual journey that leads from external to internal forms of stability and further to the stability of love of God and neighbour. The whole Cassian's conception is then situated within the wider context of systematic theology. The introduction and the conclusion of the thesis put the examined topic in the frame of the contemporary "crisis of rootedness" and outline the possible therapeutic dimension of author's thought for those who are afflicted with instability. Sammanfattning/AbstractSyfteSyftet är att undersöka och resonera om vilka diskurser som möjligtvis skapas eller är ursprung bakom utbildningsminister Jan Björklunds argumentation för och i samband med gymnasiereformen GY2011och vilka effekter det får på bildämnet i gymnasieskolan.FrågeställningarVilka diskurser som möjligtvis kan vara i konflikt med en bildämnesdiskurs konstrueras i den argumentation om skolvärlden som uttrycks av Jan Björklund? Vilken identitet och status får bildämnet i dessa diskursers synsätt? Metod och materialFör att besvara frågeställningarna har analys av debattmaterial skrivet av Jan Björklund gjorts, främst boken Skolstart. Materialet har sedan analyserats med diskursanalytisk metod och jämförts med en uppfattning av bildämnet, som det är framställt i undersökningen nationell utvärdering av bildämnet.ResultatResultatet visar att bildämnet har identitet som står i konflikt med Jan Björklunds diskursordning på många punkter. Offentliga rum som är tänkta att dagligen brukas av stadens befolkning förändras. I takt med att det sociala livet förflyttas allt mer till byggnader, till allmänna eller privata inomhusmiljöer eller sker digitalt minskar livet mellan byggnader. Offentliga rum som väsentliga mötesplatser i staden är viktiga av flera anledningar, inte minst för ett hälsosamt samhälle.  Syftet med det kandidatexamensarbetet är att analysera offentliga rum i storstadsmiljöer och hur de förhåller sig till några teorier om fysisk gestaltning och social hållbarhet. Några aspekter av bl.a. Jan Gehls teori om människovänliga offentliga rum i urbana miljöer har valts ut för undersökning men i den teoretiska bakgrund inkluderas även idéer av David Sim och Jeremy Till. Min ambition är att göra en insats till en ökad förståelse för hur det offentliga rummet kan utformas för att locka människor till ett mer levande socialt samspel och lyfta upp  vikten av socialt hållbar planering av offentliga rum.  Platsobservationer samt semistrukturerade surveyundersökningar med stöd av litteraturen har resulterat i det arbetet. Nio platser i Stockholm, Malmö och Lund har valts som exempelytor  för att undersöka litteraturstudiens presenterade teorier i praktiken. Utgångspunkten till undersökningen och observationer har varit nyckelkvaliteter hämtade från Jan Gehls teori om välfungerande människovänliga offentliga miljöer: trygghet, komfort och njutning som måste existera, enligt honom, på en offentlig yta. Resultatet har visat att de tre kriterierna trygghet, komfort och njutning hör ihop och att en välfungerande offentlig yta människor trivs och känner sig välkomna behöver en kombination av alla tre kriterier. Kriterierna framställs i slutsatsen som en diagram i form av en trappa, där första steget är trygghet, en grundläggande kvalitet som bör anses vara ett krav för att människor ska befinna sig på platsen. Nästkommande kvalitet är komfort som endast har någon betydelse om trygghetskvalitet uppfylls. Kvaliteten är en faktor som får användarna att vilja vistas på platsen. Det sista steget när både trygghet och komfort uppfylls är njutning som får användarna att vilja stanna på platsen. När alla tre kvaliteter uppfylls, kan man anse att platsen är en väl fungerande offentlig yta, människor vill vistas och stanna kvar på.

Notre travail se consacre en premier lieu au thème de la quotidienneté conflictuelle puis, à l'analyse de la genèse et des enjeux de la division du monde qui touche l'homme contemporain. Cette division trouve d'abord son expression dans la multiplicité de discours qui tentent à partir des situations subjectivo-relatives divergentes, de fournir une explication de l'étant singulier et du monde en général; et ensuite, dans l'objectivation toujours plus poussée sur la nature par la science qui hypostase au-delà du monde de la vie naïve, le monde-objectif des formalisations mathématisantes. Dans un second temps, nous procédons en dialoguant avec l'œuvre de Jan Patocka (dont les points de passage sont (I) le motif de la Krisis et la méthode phénoménologique de Husserl, (II) l'analyse existentiale heideggerienne, et (III) le développement d'une phénoménologie asubjective) à l'ontologisation et l'historisation de la Lebenswelt. Nous découvrons alors qu'en unissant son effort à la révision de la métaphysique, la phénoménologie est à même de nous redonner l'unité apriorique du monde naturel comme monde du mouvement et de fournir les modalités de notre rapport au monde ainsi que la manière dont les choses du monde et le monde lui-même acquièrent leur signification pour l'humanité historique.

Diploma thesis analyzes a movie character of John Hus in Otakar Vávra's film from 1954 and Jiří Svoboda's film from 2015. The aim of the thesis is to discover how the view on this historical person (perceived through the prism of an era and regime in which he was portrayed on the big screen) changed. The introduction of the diploma thesis is focused on John Hus in historical context. The interpretative part examines ideological aspects, stereotypes and their mutual interaction. The thesis used the method of qualitative analysis of selected aspects of both films. In response to comparative analysis of selected aspects of both films the diploma thesis analysis John Hus like a movie character. The outcome of the diploma thesis is review whether the historical period influenced by John Hus was portrayed in accordance with the spirit of objectivity and available historical sources.

In the days of normalization there was a lot of groups in Czechoslovakia which were spreading the literature, which couldnt be published in the state's publishers. Manuscripts VBF was one of them. This edition was different because it focused on publishing collected works of three authors, who had been already not alive. Manuscript VBF was established on the beginning of seventieths by Bedřich Fučík and Vladimír Binar to publish Jakub Deml's writtings. The Jakub Deml's writtings was orginized to fourteen volumes. Thirteen of them were being published since 1978 to 1983, the fourteenth one wasn't finished. Meanwhile the decision came to publish also Jan Zahradníček's writtings and Jan Čep's writtings. Vladimír Binar prepared Bedřich Fučík's writtings after Bedřich Fučík had died. There was a side product called Bibliotheca of Manuscripts VBF, in which some works of the organizators and their friends were published. The thesis includes an annotative bibliography of the edition and an interview with Vladimir Binar. The purpose of this thesis was to make a bibliography of Manuscripts VBF, compile information about this edition and add a worthful witness of one of its organizators - Vladimír Binar.

The diploma thesis deals with two translations of Rilke's novel Die Aufzeichnungen des Malte Laurids Brigge. Each translation is not only conceived as a final product, but also as a communication process, influenced by a number of cultural and socio-political factors. The thesis therefore attempts to capture changes in Rilke's reception in relation to the literary paradigm and - with regards to the political situation - to the contemporary publisher policy, because during the period of socialism Rilke's work, which was highly valued in the thirties, came back into general awareness quite slowly in connection with the gradual liberation of cultural and political situation. The goal of the thesis is to map the problems of the translations' genesis with regards to the period and cultural environment and to the translators' poetic style. Part of the thesis addresses a translatological analysis, which is the base for defining both of the translators' methods.
