The present time brings new jobs, new job roles, different job expectations, different perspectives on traditional and current career concepts, the importance of motivation in an individual's career, and the importance of job quality. In the environment of educational organizations, the quality of work of teaching staff is considered to be one the most important aspects affecting pupil performance. The current problems faced by regional education in the international context include the low attractiveness of the teaching profession, mainly due to lower average salaries. The situation is not supported either by limited career opportunities and by the widespread belief that the profession does not offer sufficient opportunities for self-realization and adequate social recognition. Therefore, the aim is to link the quality of professional performance of the teacher with the principle of professional standards, elaborated into several levels of generality up to a level that allows to assess reliably and decide whether the teacher achieves a certain required level on the basis of established criteria. Sociální kompetence učitele na odborné škole / Social competence of teacher at a vocational school

The theme of this thesis is focused on research of social competences in vocational education. The aim of the theoretical part is to clarify the issue of social competences in various contexts. It deals with school as a social environment, general skills of a teacher and the specification of social skills needed to practice this profession. It will also describe the relationship between social skills and curricular documents and finally present expected requirements of a school management for the application of these skills. The aim of the empirical part is the research at a vocational school with regard to how the potential of social competencies of teachers is used in pedagogical activities in relation to the graduate profile. The research will take into account the results of three research methods - a document analysis, an observation and an interview. Partial objectives will focus on the learning environment, the content of the graduate profile, the work of the teacher and the view of school management on the application of social skills. The work is dedicated to the ways of developement of the key competencies of learners within methodes of Montessori pedagogy. The first part is concentrated on the evaluation of the current level of knowledge including the key competencies and Montessori pedagogy with its methodes. In the second part the work deals with a theoretical background to accomplish a research in the empiric kind of way, where we find the focal point of this entire work. The practical part of the work analyses the different approaches of two selected elementary Montessori schools to the developement of the key competencies within the applied methodes of teaching. The closing part of the work is dedicated to the evaluation of the used methodes in relation to the key competencies and it also pursues the comparison of ways of use of the developement of the key competencies at these two selected elementary schools.

Theoretical part of this Ph.D. thesis deals with the latest findings about intercultural communication and with important intercultural theories focused on two examined countries: the Czech Republic and Japan. It compares Czech and Japanese ways of thinking and behaviors using theory of cultural standards. An overview of current intercultural competence theories is followed by a description of specifics of intercultural competence and of possible ways of developing it. The theoretical part of the thesis is concluded by an overview of benefits and risks of intercultural research in general. The empirical part of the thesis compares intercultural competence of Czech and Japanese university students. The main aim of the study is to construct a questionnaire of intercultural competence, to design an observed situation measuring intercultural competence and to determinate a relationship between components of the questionnaire and the observation criteria. Thesis "Teacher assistant competences" responds to growing number of teacher assistants in educational system and reflects still remaining ambiguities in delineating requirements on assistants' services and activities. The objective of thesis is on the basis of empirical findings define the basic competences of teacher assistant working in a regular basic school. In its theoretical part thesis works with legislative norms specifying the role of teacher assistant and with findings of relevant researches. The explorative part of thesis is based on qualitatively orientated methodology and processes data from eighty interviews realized with assistants, teachers, principals and pupils with special educational needs from twenty basic mainstream schools. Data in research were processed by classification, coding and schematization with using the form of framework analysis. The topic of the dissertation is the research of the assumptions for employment of people who spent part or all of their childhood and adolescence in children's homes. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part is devoted to the analysis of competences that are currently important prerequisites for employment in the labour market, integration of young people from institutional education into professional life, the problems of institutional education and the developmental period of adolescence, in which young people from institutions usually enter the labour market. The methods used in this section include theoretical analysis and interpretation of key concepts and findings presented in the literature, implemented research and other sources in order to provide a basis for the focus and design of the research and relevant data for the discussion of its results. In the empirical part, a mixed- methods research design is presented. Title: Competence profile of a women's football coach Aims: The main aim of the thesis is to create six competence profiles of a women's football coach, from the perspective of players, coaches, adult players, adolescent players, lower division players and upper division players. A partial aim is to compare the importance of individual competences for the aforementioned groups of respondents. Methods: The thesis used quantitative research methods. After reviewing professional literature, a list of three groups of 55 competences necessary for the work of a women's football coach was compiled. By means of an electronic questionnaire, women's football coaches and female football players in all adult and adolescent divisions were asked to assess the importance of individual competences. The questionnaire had a total of 424 respondents. Results: Six competence profiles of women's football coaches were created in the thesis, according to players, coaches, adult players, adolescent players, lower division players and upper division players. The submitted diploma thesis deals with the competencies of a foreign language teacher. It develops the specifics of the lecturer's work in the field of language teaching with regard to the current economic and socio-cultural context and the diversity of the language services market. It analyzes theoretically and conceptually focused sources developed mainly in the European Union. The thesis contains an analysis of concepts of competence, from a sociological, psychological, political and economic point of view. An analysis of the current state of language education and the characteristics of entities in the language services market is also presented. The thesis offers an up-to-date classification of teaching competencies, which takes into account current trends in the socio-economic life of society. The developed model of competencies can serve as a reference point for political actors in the standardization and regulation of the profession, as well as for language schools and teachers themselves in raising their professional level. Thesis is focused on attitudes of the 4th and the 5th grade pupils towards people with disabilities. Specifically it is the influence of influencing the manifestations of otherness on the cultivation of pupils' attitudes towards the issue. Thesis defines the manifestation and otherness of selected types of disabilities. In context of modify of pupils' attitudes, findings from the psychosocial development pupils in late middle childhood are summarized. Thesis also presents the personality of the class teacher from the perspective of the teacher's professional competencies. The aim of the thesis is to find out what are the attitudes of the 4th and the 5th grades of primary schools towards people with disabilities and whether the teaching process can modify the attitudes. Through a research survey 455 pupils from randomly selected primary schools in Prague, it was found that half of them have difficulty accepting otherness of people with disabilities. The least accepted group are people with mental disabilities. Thesis also presents a relations between positive attitudes of pupils and social proximit of people with disabilities, also realtions between the pupils' ignorance of the issue, low awareness and together with lower social proximity. A general nurse may, without clinical supervision, administer medicinal products with the exception of intravenous injections (IV) or infusions in newborns and children under 3 years of age and with the exception of radiopharmaceuticals. This activity is regulated in Decree No. 55/2011 Coll. by Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. The preparation and administration of the medicinal product is an integral part of the everyday practice of a l nurse; however, the dimensions of this procedure are very broad, and it does not start and end with the administration of the prescribed medicinal product. In the wider context, this is a multi-disciplinary process, in which other health professionals can participate with their well-founded roles. Determining individual roles and collaboration in the multi-disciplinary team composed of a doctor, a nurse and a clinical pharmacist has an effect on the correct pharmacological treatment of the patient. Of all professions, nurses spend time with patients. 40 % of their time administering medications; therefore, they play a key role in the reduction of medication errors. (Miller et all, 2016).
