This Master's thesis is divided into the theoretical and research part. The theoretical part is focused on the concept of primary education, in particular on the area of key competences. The thesis submits methods through which pupil's key competences can be developed. The major focus is placed on the pedagogical device which develops key competences and that is a pupil's portfolio. The thesis describes different types of the portfolio as well as its importance especially in the process of self-assessment of the pupil. The main aim of the research part is to investigate the benefits of using the pupil's portfolio and to describe its forms in different grades at primary school. This part is primarily focused on the concept of working with portfolio at two different primary schools. There are also interviews with teachers and pupils which suggest arguments why working with the portfolio is beneficial and what possible difficulties can occur. Responses which were received from the interviews with teachers show that the main benefits of working with the pupil's portfolio include the possibility of gathering pupil's works at one place, developing some system, storing of works, providing and documenting of pupil's results. All this is can be used especially during consultations with parents and the pupil.

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the parents' point of view on the individual contacts of the family and the school. The theoretical part presents the history of the relationship development between the family and the school, the functions of socializations and competences of these institutions and the forms of contact between the family and the school with the emphasis on a specific form, so called tutorial system, based on building a confidential, open parent-child relationship and which is intended to enable educational co-operation in the upbringing of a child. The focus of this thesis is on its empirical part, realized within the qualitative methodological approach. With the help of semi-structured interviews with parents, the parents' point of view on the role and competences of the school in the educational process of the child were studied, as well as the way parents perceive a tutorial system of communication with the school. The research results suggest that parents perceive the involvement of the school in the area of childcare ambivalently, and that despite the noted positives, tutoring meetings are problematic for parents, mainly because of the unclear determination of boundaries and the definition of roles in them. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the system of management education in Trial bank, to evaluate this system and recommend the firm some changes in the educational system, which would lead to reduction of pitfalls in this area, eventually, would help to achieve better results from the educational process. First chapter contains general characteristic of managerial work and competencies and the best practice used for creating a competency model. The second part is dedicated to the theoretical knowledge of the educational methods that are commonly used for training of managerial skills. The third part is an overview and evaluation of educational and development activities and its efficiency. The fourth chapter consists of analysis of an educational system of managers in Trial bank, describes company internal policy and offer of the educational programs for its employees. In the last chapter are stated conclusions and recommendations I came to, which could the company apply in order to improve contemporary educational and development system for its employees.

This diploma thesis describes and evaluates the contemporary development of managers' competencies in CSOB. Simultaneously, the goal is to find out how satisfied they are with the current situation. I came to the conclusion that the managers exploit methods for their self-development which do not belong to their favourite ones. The managers do not think that they are familiar with the observed competencies at the optimal level, which was based on their self-evaluation. Hence, I would suggest to concentrate on the preferred methods and to try to optimize the system of the development from the point of view of managers' preferences. Thanks to this suggestion employees' satisfaction and thereby also the efficiency of the whole system would arise.

The aim of this thesis is to design career plans in the IT and projects department in Česká spořitelna a.s. The theoretical part provides basic background and methodological section describes the methods used in the practical part. The practical part begins with the introduction of Česká spořitelna a.s. and more detailed description of the IT department. The next chapter deals with the description of job positions, starting with current job descriptions and following with job descriptions, which originated from semi-standardized interview with individual managers in the IT department. Next chapter is devoted to the career pyramid, which shows seniority of job positions in the IT department from two perspectives: managerial and expertise. At the end of the practical part, there are designed three career maps for selected positions together with specific methods of developing the required competencies.
