This thesis is focused on waste management in Czech Republic and it´s pointing in near future. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the waste management current situation in municipalities in area of MAS Třešťsko and based on detected information design proper waste management strategy which reflects prepared changes in legislation. The goal of the thesis is reached by evaluation of responds on basic questions related to waste management in municipalities, by analysis of waste production data in chosen municipalities and consequential suitable suggestions construction. These suggestions are framed to tending to fulfillment the targets arising from Waste Management Plan of ČR for period 2015-2024, Waste Management Plan of Highlands region for period 2016-2025 and suggested Czech and European legislation. Proposals are focused on edification, raising part of sorted secondary materials, declining the amount of mixed waste production and waste management infrastructure development. Waste management in municipalities in MAS Třešťsko will be more environmentally and also economically effective.

This diploma thesis is about municipal waste management. There are involved villages, which are situated with their building area in CHKO Moravský kras. This diploma thesis is mainly about municipal solid waste management in CHKO Moravský kras, which is interpreted by collected information about individual municipalities. The most data were obtained from municipalities by own research. These data are used in the practical part of this thesis. The information about waste production were provided mainly by workers in The Department of the Environment Blansko and Šlapanice. It was also needed to obtain information about illegal dumping, during own research. The obtained data are processed and compared each other (per capita), in the practical part. The comparison is done by point graphs in time series and there is also used cluster analysis. There were suggested recommendations and some design waste management measures in the locality for municipalities, based on individual results and theoretical knowledge about a good examples from the practice.

The dissertation Rapprochement from below? German-French town twinning from 1950 to 2000 is a historiographic study that focuses on town twinning as a specific aspect of German-French co-operation in the second half of the 20th century. The topic is analysed in a wider German-French context and based on statistical data as well as archive sources. The main objective of the study is to evaluate the impact of high-level bilateral relations on German-French town twinning, identify the motivation of its supporters and compare German-French town twinning in the West-German and East-German federal states. Additionally, the localisation of town twins was studied for the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Master's thesis focuses on stability of local elites and their influence on the development of municipalities in Czech Republic. The stability of local elites is for the purposes of this thesis defined as the number of election of the same representatives in communal elections in between 1994 and 2010. There are three main objectives in the thesis. Firstly, to prove a dependence between stability of local elites and population of the municipality. Secondly, to find if there is statistically significant dependence between stability of local elites and selected development factors. Thirdly to identify spatial patterns of high and low stability of local elites in the Czech Republic. To complete this objectives required to design methodology and calculate stability of local elites for the municipalities of Czech Republic and then to categorize it according to its level of stability (low, medium, high). On behalf of several quantitative analyses the indirect dependence between stability of local elites and the municipality population has been proven as well as the dependence between the selected development factors (intensity of flat construction, unemployment and percentage of undergraduates). This thesis deals with the market for secondary raw materials. First, basic terms are explained together with the close analysis of different interpretation of the term "waste" and "secondary raw material", next "recycling". Then general principles of the functioning of markets are applied to the issue of secondary raw materials. It is discussed if theoretical knowledges described below follow the reality of markets in which commodities produced from the solid waste are traded. After that structure of the market is analysed from the mikroeconomic perspective. The objective of the qualitative research was to determine the impacts of the crises on the regional market.

Práce podává přehled o činnosti zastupitelstva obce na praktickém příkladu obce Baška. Srovnává teoretické předpoklady fungování zastupitelstva obce s jejich praktickým naplňováním. V práci jsou analyzovány volby do obecního zastupitelstva, které proběhly po roce 1994 až po volby, které vedly ke vzniku současného zastupitelstva. Dále je zde analyzována činnost zastupitelstva a jednotlivá práva a povinnosti jeho členů. Je zde také zkoumána činnost výborů zastupitelstva obce. V analytické části práce je zkoumán rozpočtový proces. V závěru práce jsou podány kritické postřehy k činnosti zastupitelstva obce a návrhy řešení.

In first part of this thesis was create a questionnaire, which has been applied to the chosen locality in České Budějovice. In the questionnaire were these types of questions: if inhabitants know what is the organic household refuse, if they take advantage of separating facillity of these refuse, what kind of separation meet they own needs, if they know about facillity of throw away of organic household refuse through the protabel collective truck in the year 2009 and next questions relevant to these theme. In the second part was get at the legislative and other conditions for the treatment of organic refuse in towns of the Czech republic. In these part was specified average value of annual organic househole refuse in České Budějovice and was process the information about waste collectors, containers and other waste-processing equipments

The aim was to map the first and second link in the chain municipal waste management, particularly with municipal sorted waste. I focused on the core components of municipal waste - paper, plastic and glass. The thesis examined public awareness about waste, how well informed they are and whether people are interested in products made from recycled materials. The second part was to describe the situation in a company dealing with waste, described problems are encountered and to find the steps that would lead to improve this situation

This thesis concentrates on the collection system of biogadable waste in a chosen locality. The method deals with the realization of a logistic model of biogradable waste in a locality. The introductory part provides a description of particular system of biogradable waste collection. The following part describes the calculation method and setting the particular parts of the system. The suggestions include descriptions and present experience with introducing this system in practice. The thesis describes the logistics of biodegradable waste collection for its further use. Describes the composting in a composting plants and associated technologies. That are in the area or band mounds. And other machinery for the adjustment of the compost. The collection is realized in three towns in Prachatice region. A technical estimate and calculation helped to determine the annual production of biodegradable waste depending on the feature of the origin. The calculation was made on the basis of ascertained data about well-kept municipal places, number of homes, areas and gardens. Considering the prevailing origin of biodegradable waste there was determined a delivery system of collection to a waste collection place with an aside container. Based on the total volume of ascertained production there was determined the capacity of containers in each town. According to the predicted capacity of the container, there were set the collection times and replacements done by an appropriate transport carrier. After researching the trails suitable for container transport there was chosen an optimal trail for collecting and accumulating the biodegradable waste. The choice of a composting plant originated from the real composting plant where the selection of biogradable waste was realized. The transport carrier which realizes the containers collection from the towns is located on this composting plant.

This diploma thesis discusses issues of waste production and related issues of waste management in the Czech Republic. Wastes are generated almost every day as a result of the most of human activities. The main objectives of waste management policy are the effort to regulate the amount of produced waste, increase the utilization of waste instead of its disposal and especially eliminate the negative impacts on the environment, natural resources and human health. These objectives are enforced especially through legislative instruments. Theoretical part of this thesis is a comparison of findings and knowledge gained by the studying of literature and other relevant sources from the area of production and management of wastes. The practical part of this thesis deals with the analysis of waste production and waste management in the Czech Republic in selected time frame and includes a prognosis of future development. The basis of the practical part are statistical data, processed with chosen statistic methods, especially with the analysis of time series. Finally, a survey about the waste management is carried out with the aim of finding the current state in the field of waste sorting.
