FEJTOVÁ, Klára. Graffiti and street art, their's socioculturals and art's contextes. Prague, 2013. Thesis. Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts. Supervisor PhDr. Jan Šmíd, Ph.D., 232 pages.(Appendices: 3 plastic objects) In my diploma paper, I attempted to map the origins and evolution of graffiti and street art. Their possible starting point, sources of inspiration and connection to art throughout history and the present day. I have also mentioned the overlapping into and use in advertising, contemporary art and design. I have briefly dealt with the socio-cultural influence and its connection to this form of art. In the theoretical part of my paper, I devoted my attention to new trends in graffiti and street art. In the didactic part, I used specific ecological trends to create art series. Through this I linked art and environmental education and verified that students in the specific group are interested in incorporating this topic into their curriculum. A part of the is a research survey which shows the opinions and principally confirmed the interest of students in the specific group in this topic.

Obraz, zvuk a text v umění a ve škole / Picture, sound and text in art and at school

Žilka, Martin January 2014 (has links)
This diploma thesis is based on the assumption, that we live in the speeches of our surroundings. These manifestations and answers environments affect various aspects of our lives. One answer is surely sound. By examining this phenomenon, in the context of expressive subjects at primary school, we can achieve a closer engagement with our environment and understand its functioning. Formation of this feeling of belonging is a basic task of the school. The main aim of this thesis is to introduce a didactic and way of working potential subject at the elementary school, which will combine the expressive target education and deepening environmentality. Fungování arbuskulární mykorhizy ve vztahu ke složení společenstva hub a podmínkám prostředí / Functioning of arbuscular mycorrhiza in relation to fungal community composition and environmental conditions

Voříšková, Alena January 2019 (has links)
Arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) symbiosis, a widespread plant-fungal relationship, is based on reciprocal resource exchange. The functioning of this fragile relationship balances on the scale from mutualism to parasitism, depending on the specific context. The thesis aims to interlink the functioning of AM symbiosis both with the composition of AM fungal communities and with different abiotic conditions. The thesis is divided into a methodological and a factual part and consists of three publications and one manuscript. All experiments were conducted in greenhouse conditions with medic (Medicago sp.) as host plant. Host plants were inoculated with single AM fungal species in Paper I and II, and with a synthetic AM fungal community of five species in Paper III and IV. The host plant identity, the amount of phosphorus (P) in substrate and the type of substrate played an important role for the achievement of mutualistic AM symbiosis, as demonstrated in Paper I. Paper II showed that mitochondrial and nuclear qPCR markers can be used alternatively for the quantification of particular AM fungal species. However, intraradical fungal biomass was better related to copy numbers of nuclear DNA than of mitochondrial DNA. The functioning of AM symbiosis was modulated by the availability of P, light and water,...

Česká republika a Spojené království: srovnání euroskepticismu. / The Czech Republic and the UK, a Eurosceptic comparison.

Gata-Aura, Navraj January 2017 (has links)
Euroscepticism has recently started to enjoy a renaissance, boasting many different works in different formats whether it be a comparative study of two European countries or, investigating Euroscepticism in different national contexts to account for possible variations of Euroscepticism. This work aims to show the contrary. Using country case studies of the Czech Republic and the UK this paper shows that regardless of temporal differences and differences in national contexts, Euroscepticism is intrinsically linked to some lines of argument concerning economy and democracy.

Approaching Concept Drift by Context Feature Partitioning

Hoffmann, Nico, Kirmse, Matthias, Petersohn, Uwe 20 February 2012 (has links)
In this paper we present a new approach to handle concept drift using domain-specific knowledge. More precisely, we capitalize known context features to partition a domain into subdomains featuring static class distributions. Subsequently, we learn separate classifiers for each sub domain and classify new instances accordingly. To determine the optimal partitioning for a domain we apply a search algorithm aiming to maximize the resulting accuracy. In practical domains like fault detection concept drift often occurs in combination with imbalances data. As this issue gets more important learning models on smaller subdomains we additionally use sampling methods to handle it. Comparative experiments with artificial data sets showed that our approach outperforms a plain SVM regarding different performance measures. Summarized, the partitioning concept drift approach (PCD) is a possible way to handle concept drift in domains where the causing context features are at least partly known.

Heterogeneous environment on examples

Antoni, Ľubomír, Krajči, Stanislav, Krídlo, Ondrej, Pisková, Lenka 28 May 2013 (has links)
We propose a running example for heterogeneous approach based on new type of fuzzification that diversifies fuzziness of every object, fuzziness of every attribute and fuzziness of every table value in a formal context. Moreover we suggest another working examples on heterogeneous environment and provide additional utilization and illustration of this new model that allows to use Formal Concept Analysis also for heterogenenous data. An interpretation of heterogeneous formal concepts and the resulting concept lattice is included.

”Allt ordnar sig till slut” En kvalitativ studie om att se tillbaka på konsekvenser av livsval

Norman, Caroline, Viiri, Emma-Linnéa January 2020 (has links)
Older people make up an increasing proportion of the population which makes research on successful aging more relevant. Several studies show negative health consequences when regretting the past and that the experience of coming to terms have positive effects on well-being. Although, little is known about how older people come to terms with life choices. This study aimed to contribute with a nuanced picture of how people over the age of 65 relate to life choices and their consequences, and how elderly people come to terms with life. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 11 participants. The material was analyzed based on inductive thematic analysis, resulting in four main themes and 12 subthemes. The main themes Positivity, Acceptance and Independence involve three different approaches to life choices. Social context highlights the social impact on life choices and how community and being important to others contributes to well-being and purpose in life. The broader definition of life choices and the positive focus of this study contributes to a more nuanced picture of older peoples view on life choices in multiple areas. The result shows that the experience of coming to terms with life not necessarily can be equated with being satisfied, and that how people relate to life choices and its consequences becomes more important than the actual outcome of the choice itself. Elderly people who seeks treatment for dealing with negative emotions related to aging and life reminiscence may need different interventions depending on how they relate to life choices.
