Kultursponsring i Moderaternas motioner : En diskursanalys / Culture Sponsorship of Moderate motions : a discourse analysis

Eklöf, Frida January 2013 (has links)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to study cultural sponsorshipof cultural institutions and cultural events in some particular pointsof views. Namely, how do the Moderate party look at culturalsponsorship based on their motions and how these motions havebeen received by the Swedish parliament. The aim has beenbroken down into three questions. Firstly, how does the Moderateparty look at sponsorship of cultural institutions and culturalevents based on their motions on the subject. Secondly, whatviews have been existed in parliament both in committee andplenary, against the motions? Thirdly, what are the most relatingparagraphs for the different material groups. Sweden'sconservative party has long since (1969) been called the Moderateparty. The theory and method used is discourse analysis focusing onLaclau and Mouffe´s theory. Central concepts are nodal point, torque, element, flowing significance, articulation, equivalencechain and discourse.Every material group has its own nodal points, torque, equivalencechains and discourses. Moderates motions have the nodal pointsculture, cultural sponsorship and public support. Committeesletters have the nodal points cultural sponsorship and publicsupport. Chamber debate have the nodal points culturalsponsorship, public assistance, tax law and donation. Materialgroups are created in different environments with different framesof reference and opinions differ among the groups. There areliquid significances between the material groups. The Moderateparty are in favor of cultural sponsorship. The committees are themost negative to this. The members of the Plenary are belonging todifferent political parties. This means that their opinion differ. / Program: Bibliotekarie

Att kommunicera för poesievenemang : En undersökning av sex ungdomars kultur- och medievanor / Communicating poetry events : A study of six young adults’ culture and media habits

Songer, Vera January 2012 (has links)
