Förbättringsarbete för att öka genomflödet i en linjeproduktion / Improvement work to increase the throughput of a serial production line

Tendell Rutgersson, Emma, Gustafsson, Ebba January 2017 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of how continuous improvement efforts can eliminate problems that stops the throughput of a serial production line. The study use methods for how the largest problem areas are found and how the work towards eliminating them can proceed.  The study was conducted on request from Estrella AB, a company located in Angered, focusing on a limited part of their production called the carton system. In order to fulfill the purpose, literature studies in the relevant areas were conducted, interviews with workers and a more comprehensive study called the observatory study. A observatory study where the focus was on finding time measurements to be able to find the largest problem areas within the student carton system.  With the help of the measurements, an analysis was made to find out the root cause for the problems. It also helped to find where the focus of an improvement work should be and how the work could be carried out. Through the observation study and an analysis of the data the conclusions were that human impact and the lack of standardized work is the main reason why stop in the throughput occurs.

Etude des apports de la théorie des jeux en conception de chaines logistiques : approche coopérative et approche stratégique / Supply chain design based on game theory : cooperative and strategic approahes

Mahjoub, Sonia 04 October 2011 (has links)
In the context of fixed market prices for a set of goods selected to be manufactured, the design of a supply chain network can be interpreted as a coalition formation problem in the cooperative game theory framework and formulated as a linear production game (LPG). This study investigates the possibility of combining the requirement of coalition stability with a fair allocation of profits to the participants. It is shown that, in general, the purely competitive allocation mechanism does not exhibit the property of fairness. Two techniques are proposed to correct this defect. The first one consists in introducing transfer payments among the players of the optimal coalition. The second technique relies on an improved representation of capacitated resources through clearing functions. Now, if an enterprise network decides to organize itself as a supply chain and imposes the wholesale price of its manufactured goods, then the supply chain design problem under a price elastic random demand from the market can be formulated as a biform game. This situation has generated a quadratic production game (QPG) not yet studied in the literature. It has been shown that this game has a non empty core and it is generally non convex. Finally, it has been proved that global profit optimality is obtained if the manufacturing network is directly selling the goods to the market rather than to a retailer.

Konstrukce transportního vozíku s robotem nebo nosičem palet / Design of transfer carriage equipped with robot or pallete holder

Tatíček, Vojtěch January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this work was to design the construction of transport equipment under industrial robot, pallet holder or other equipment. This manipulation device can be moved in one axis on a rigid guide. The device is designed for use in a linear manufacturing system for handling workpieces and tools. It is capable of operating two rows of machines when it is placed in the middle. The main function of this device is to extend the workspace to the carried devices. This type of construction can be used in combination with an industrial robot for other technological tasks such as welding or light machining. The main parts of this device include statically mounted beds that can be stacked behind each other to form optionally long conveyor paths and a positioning plate that moves along the path formed by these beds. An industrial robot, pallet holder or other device is attached to this positioning plate. In addition to the design itself, the thesis also includes a thorough research of the issue, further possibilities of solution in the form of concepts, verification of the structure by means of calculations and simulations and implementation of the solution into a specific production cell.
