桃園縣產業多元化之趨勢對航空城發展之意涵 / Industrial diversification of taoyuan county for aerotroplis development李佩諦 Unknown Date (has links)
This paper studies the industrial structure and degree of industrial diversification of Taoyuan County since 1986 to examine if Taoyuan Aerotroplis will meet one of the successful key factors of industrial diversification. It begins with a discussion of strategic analysis on critical factors of Taoyuan International Airport and finds out one of the important factors of successful aerotroplis lies in industrial diversification. This research is conducted by adopting quantitative approach and applying coefficient of industry diversity to value the degree. The Location Quotients (LQs) ratios are applied as well, providing a way to examine the specialization of economic activity in Taoyuan County.
The finding reveals that the industrial structure of Taoyuan County is secondary industry from 1986 to 1991. After 1991, the tertiary industry grows enormously and now it trends to service-oriented market. Also, industrial diversification of Taoyuan County is toward positive and high degree of diversity in industry since 1986. Taoyuan County has a relatively higher concentration of employment in manufacturing than Taiwan since 1986. Health Care Services industry, Water Supply and Remediation Services industry and Transportation, Storage and Communication industry are industries which increase concentration of employment in Taoyuan County. This research suggests that the authority concerned could make use of the positive condition of diversity in industry to accelerate industrial cluster in development of aerotroplis that strengthen the competitiveness of Taoyuan Airport and attract more cargo and passengers traffic. Further research is suggested by enlarging the areas such as Taipei County development axis or Hsinchu County, by broadening the sample of the industry scope and classification systems to subsectors, industry group or industry and by comparing the industrial diversification of Taoyuan Aerotroplis with that of the other countries which succeeds in aerotroplis models.

The study of taipei financial centre by clusterWu, Jia-hao 14 July 2004 (has links)
Abstract
The major economic competition is industry cluster, for example: Italy¡¦s shoemaking, North Carolina¡¦s house furnishings, Germany¡¦s chemical industry, UK¡¦s financial service industry. In Taiwan, Hsinshu Science Park and Taichung¡¦s machinery industry show strong competition. In sum, It provides access to more suppliers and customized support services, to experienced and skilled labor pools, and to the inevitable transfer of knowledge that occurs where people casually meet and talk business.
Concentration, or clustering, gives businesses an advantage over more isolated competitors. Clustering enables companies to focus on what they know and do best; they need not do things they do not do well. Companies able to operate more or less as a system can use their resources more efficiently and collectively produce more than the sum of their individual outputs.
Jacobs(1985) referred that the relevant geographical unit from a clustering point of view is not the nation but rather the city/region. core metropolitan areas in particular are the well-spring of economic dynamism and innovation, and exert a profound influence on the prosperity of the nations in which they are located. Wang Guo Gang (2003)also referred, there are many financial institutions and securities firms and in financial centre, it also borrowed or lent money across countries. In 21 century, global economic situation changed quickly, and Taiwan faced the challenge of Asia Pacific Zone¡¦s economic grew and integrated quickly. It is far influence to develop international commerce between Mainland China and Taiwan. The government draw up economic construction plan to make economical development breakthrough. It has the blueprint of Taipei finical centre, the fund could in-out freely, and build financial system of international standard.
The study would analysis financial industry space distribution by location quotient. And it concluded eight important variable (infrastructure, human resources, knowledge resources. capital resource, market demand, group learning, related and supporting industries, government )by industry cluster theory and Asia financial centres(Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai). And it analysis Taipei financial industry by depth interview. Finally, it provide financial industry strategies to the government.

The Study of Southern Science Park TFT-LCD Indstrial Cluster-Wen, Zheng 20 July 2004 (has links)
The original of industrial cluster analysis is to distinguish what is cluster. It is developing to overview industrial district and to conclude the potential industry. In the light of these defects, we cloud improve them for industrial development. This industrial cluster analysis of variables by literatures, including of Industrial Concentration Factor, Cluster Dependency Factor, Economic Prosperity Factor, and four strategic resources that influence development of cluster, including of High Quality Human Resource, Technology and Knowledge Resource, Infrastructure, Capital.
Using the questionnaire and interview with members in the cluster. The results of research: (1)There is a orientation of TFT-LCD industrial cluster in the Southern Science Park and show a vertical industrial cluster than horizontal cluster. (2)Material and Key part of equipment is complete and available, but there is only one application firm that produces large TFT-LCD. (3) TFT-LCD industry is important in the district and creating economic development. (4)It is difficult to find many talents about TFT-LCD industry and High Quality Human Resource is positive effect to this cluster.(5)As a result of TFT-LCD industry is at initial stage, they have less demand of Technology and Knowledge Resource, but it is increasing in the future.(6)The films are satisfied of water and electricity system, but they think that the staff cloud not get better quality of life in the district.(7) As a result of using capital without borders and Taiwan¡¦s government take TFT-LCD industry seriously, the films get capital smoothly.

The Cluster Strategy Improve The Development of Textile Industry-Silk and Filament DistrictFeng, Yi-Hsin 20 July 2004 (has links)
Since 1990 Porter has advert the conception that cluster could improve the competitive strength of textile industry, it has arouse highly attention of academe, also a lot of developed countries took this appearance of assemblage policy as the development policy for their industries.
The textile industry of Taiwan has been developed around 50 years ago, in nearly years, ascribe to the rise of cost, the value of export continually decrease and the increase of abroad competitors, the textile industry has been considered as a declined industry. However, according to the research it¡¦s still one of the most important industry which can create a lot of foreign exchange; on 2001 Council For Economic Planning And Development has planned to build a silk and filament district in Yunlin particular for the textile industry , for assemble the textile industry and push Taiwanese industries into the textile center of Asia-pacific.
According to this research we would like to know how the cluster strategy could improve the development of textile industry in Taiwan. Mainly use Location Quotient analysis to know if the textile industry is the most important basal industry in this area, and with all the related documents we could realist the crux element of the development of cluster strategy, then we could have talk with related industries and companies, in this way we may have a complete view of the whole situation in this industry and the project of having this special area. The combination of above descriptions, we could understand this special area of the textile industry and the production environment, find out the lack part and create a millennium for the development of textile industry.
The result of this research discovered that according to the analysis of this industry, the textile industry has highly central tendency and it is the main industry of this area; but according to the crux element of the development, it does not have strong enough connection between local companies and it does not have good enough interactive with schools in this area, it may cause the lack of talent people, knowledge and research. In the future, it is going to be a very important issue that we have to consider about, aggrandize the connection between the local companies and the interactive with schools.

Previous issue date: 2013-04-30 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / The aim of this study was to analyze the spatial concentration of economic
specialization in Rio Grande do Norte. The analysis variable was the number of formal
jobs in 2000 and 2010 obtained from the Annual Social Information - RAIS, provided
by the Ministry of Labor and Employment - MTE. To achieve this objective we have
used instruments of regional analysis, more precisely the location quotient and
coefficient of specialization. The analysis of the coefficients showed strong spatial
concentration/spatial location of some economic activities within certain micro. Another
aspect observed was the very strong presence of the economic sector of public
administration in quantitative formal jobs each micro as well as the growth of the trade
and services, respectively, in line with what also occurred in Brazil. / O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar a concentração espacial e a especialização
econômica no Rio Grande do Norte.

Previous issue date: 2009-02-27 / FAPEAM - Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Amazonas / The petrochemical industry occupies a special position in the national industry in face of his importance for the economical and productive development of the country and of the
areas where it settles. The reflections of this dissertation are centered in the analysis of the concentration process, specialization and dynamism on Brazilian petrochemical industry in the period of 1995 and 2005. The adopted methods were the normalized concentration index, location quotient and the shift-share. To test those empiric models the base of personal computer-data of RAIS it was used. The results indicate the areas that hold the Brazilian main petrochemicals poles (Camaçari-BA, ABC-SP and Triunfo-RS) presented
high agglomeration levels and specialization with tendency for geographical decentralization in the indicators. Tendency to the gathering and specialization of activities petrochemicals in other areas (especially Alagoas, Manaus and Rio de Janeiro), forming
local systems of production, due to the production of the basic raw material and of effects in chain originated by the specific economical activities of each area. It was also verified
that there was a slow dynamism of the petrochemical industry national, due to the combination of the structural and differential effects unfavorable, carting in competitive disadvantage.

Unknown Date (has links)
Producer Services Industres have the functions of innovation and reformation skills, and the functions to regulate the extension of division of labor and strengthen internal organizational correlation. Since these functions are important for upgrading productivity, creating job opportunities and increasing quantity of export, they are regarded as a vital sector of modern production system.
First, this research tries to make use of Gemmell's Theory of Industrial Development to study the changes in the structure of industries. It shows that Services Sector has become an important sector of the whole modern production system.
Second, this research attempts to use industrial sensbility and dispersion to analyze the correlation of Producer Services Industries. It has proved that Service Sector is a major part of Producer Services Industries.
Third, this research employs two kinds of vector, such as flexible production from Organization Theory, and division of labor to analyze the development and factors of emergence of Producer Services Industry. It has proved that Producer Services Inustries can bring to creation of new jobs, innovation and development of skills.
Fourth, this research uses Location Quotient and Growth Quotient to crossexamine the degree of maturity of Producer Services Industries in Taipei Urban District. It has shown that Producer Services Industries in Taipei Hsian bears a distinct development but not in an output manner. The degree of maturity in Taipei Hsian is lesser than that of Taipei City. And Taipei Hsian can be expanded because of absorbing or attracting the holders of factories from Taipei City.
Fifth, this research assumes that in terms of spatial distribution, Producer Services Industries are distributed according to the influence of Industries served by Producer Services Industries. By means of the linking and relations of density gradients among industries, the phenomenon spatial movement can be illustrated. It can be regarded as a proper industrial district policy of Producer Services Industries.
Two points of conclusion can be made: 1) there is a repulsion for distribution between Producer Services Industry and Manufacturing Industry; 2) there is a phenomenon of concurrent movement between Producer Services Industries and distribution of population. It means that they have a distinct condition of mutual compenstaion.
Sixth, this research tries to make International Trade as an example of Producer services Industries, to analyze the network concept and prove that there are no any separations among concentration of this Industry, convenience of communication in Taipei Urban District and aggregate economy.
