Developments of Two-dimensional Control Schemes for Transverse Flux Linear Switched-Reluctance Machine

Kao, Chih-Chang 19 June 2001 (has links)
This thesis is to investigate in detail the frameworks of speed and lift control schemes of transverse flux linear switched-reluctance machine (TFLSRM), and to verify the validity of the resulting controllers by Matlab/Simulink simulation. Before the developments of adequate control parameters, the system inductance matrix and relative state equation regarding machine voltage and force operations were devised. By using the system linearized small signal model, and Routh stability criterion, the range for all parameters of controllers can be derived. Finally, to control the propulsive and lift forces simultaneously, a supplemental phase voltage adjustment scheme has also been provided to better the overall system performance.

DSP-based Two-dimensional Speed and Lift Force Controls of Transverse Flux Linear Switched-reluctance Machine

Jea, Bang-Chiung 08 June 2001 (has links)
The objective of this thesis is to present the algorithm of achieving speed and lift force controls of transverse flux linear switched-reluctance machine (LSRM) simultaneously. A high-speed digital signal processor based (DSP-based) switching controller will be implemented, and the desired speed control objective is realized by using a fuzzy control scheme. On the other hand, by using an indirect field-oriented control scheme, the LSRM reluctance forces, which are magnetically decoupled and position dependent, can be projected onto sets of stationary axes that are aligned with the motor fixed secondary poles. Hence by controlling flux on the specific stationary axis, the machine lift force can be properly controlled. Finally, adequate duty cycle distribution will be discussed and examined to asynchronously supply the required speed and lift force control objectives simultaneously.

The eyes of the city" : between surveillance of public space and quest for local recognition : cross analysis between France and Japan

Tokumitsu, Naoko 15 November 2018 (has links)
In a cross-analysis of France and Japan, we examine the development of the social dimension in actions to prevent insecurity, especially ones pursued under the name of the social bond. Our thesis begins with a history of the contemporary evolution of policies aiming to prevent insecurity in France and Japan. In particular, we analyse administrative and legislative documents published since 1970 for what they reveal about processes of mobilising non-police actors for prevention in both countries. Our results suggest that the processes have involved the identification of external risks by public authorities, as well as how mobilising such actors is justified as a response to the breakdown of social bonds within families and in neighbourhoods. Afterwards, we describe practices of social actors, including street mediators and “voisins vigilants” in France, as well as neighbourhood associations in Japan, in terms of how they mobilise and organise. Our field research revealed that the prevention sorts good and bad citizens in the name of defending values considered to belong to the neighbourhood. In Japan, such prevention especially concerns actions for まちづくり (machi-zukuri, ‘community building’), whereas in France, social ties primarily represent a tool used by specialised agents. With a moral and educational function, the Japanese neighbourhood thus contrasts the French one as a sort of family to replace the contemporary family deemed to be failing. However, two cases studied, in La Rochelle and Osaka, show that such prevention can also seek a form of recognition via the development of networks at the local level.

Una propuesta alternativa sobre la construcción identitaria femenina : Análisis de la novela La Revuelta de Sonia Montecino / An alternative proposal on female identity construction

Labbé Andersen, Joanna January 2015 (has links)
This paper proposes the use of a dual approach of queer theory and the importance of the indigenous Mapuche identity, to analyze the identity construction of the protagonist in the novel La Revuelta. The analysis is an attempt to relate the search for identity by the protagonist, through a subversion of gender on the one hand and the return to the ancestral past on the other. The main hypothesis of our work is that La Revuelta presents an alternative proposal on female identity construction. To execute our research we employ different methodological tools, such as queer theory developed by Judith Butler and the theories on Mapuche culture compiled by anthropologist Rolf Foerster. We also focus on the studies of the Chilean sociologist Jorge Larraín, which allow us to understand the context in which the plot of the novel is set, as well as referring to Genette and Greimas in order to conduct a narratological study.

Carrasco, Bladimir January 2008 (has links)
