Once perceived the production of drive (trieb) poverty within their own science teaching, commonly associated with restrictive and biologist visions of sexuality, this study sought to build from previous investigations, presenting as research problem the following interrogative: to what extent teaching practices on sexuality, values and meanings can be a limiting humanizing conception on the theme and how critical pedagogy can help overcome this limitation? The idea was to build a theoretical chaining able to subsidize humanizing practices on sex education. For this, Herbert Marcuse s thought was used articulated to Paulo Freire s educational thought. In order to illustrate the theoretical development, an exploratory approach to the educational reality was searched through the analysis of Sexual Prevention Project developed at the state school John Climaco de Camargo Pires in Sorocaba-SP, using for that, document analysis, participant observation and semi-structured interviews. From the built theoretical articulation, three categories of analysis were formulated: emancipatory drive, critical sensitivity and aesthetics of Liberating Education. In synthesis, they discourse about the instinctual gratification opportunities through the break with lucrative rationality present in capitalist society. From a new rationality, linked to a new sensibility, focused on the life s promotion to glimpse the possibility of overcoming the rationality of domination. Within the sexual education, from an aesthetic conceiving defined in dialogicity, it was looked for a sensitive perception in the face of situations of dehumanization. Thus, the pedagogical practice about sex education in science teaching should provide sensitive perception of power for freedom via aesthetic dimension and awakening the need and the possibility of social and individual emancipation. Analysis of the Sexual Prevention Project allowed the perception of the overcome process failure of the restricted perspectives on sex education, being recurrent biologist approaches. As a possibility of overcoming and direction for a humanizing sex education, aesthetically, ethically and politically engaged, the perspective of curriculum development, via generating theme, is presented as a sociocultural construct with opportunities to put the subjects in praxiological movement for its humanization. / O presente trabalho, se originou de investigações precedentes acerca de uma perspectiva de construção curricular libertadora no ensino de ciências sobre gravidez na adolescência, mediante abordagem temática freireana. Uma vez percebida a produção da miséria pulsional dentro do próprio ensino de ciências, comumente associado à visões biologistas e restritivas da sexualidade, este trabalho procurou dar continuidade às investigações anteriores, apresentando como problema de pesquisa a seguinte interrogativa: em que medida as práticas pedagógicas sobre sexualidade, seus valores, sentidos e significados podem ser limitadoras de uma concepção humanizadora sobre a temática e como a pedagogia crítica pode ajudar na superação desta limitação? A ideia foi construir um encadeamento teórico capaz de subsidiar práticas humanizadoras sobre educação sexual. Para isso utilizou-se do pensamento de Herbert Marcuse articulado ao pensamento educacional de Paulo Freire. De modo a ilustrar o desenvolvimento teórico, procurou-se uma aproximação exploratória com a realidade educacional por meio da análise do Projeto de Prevenção Sexual desenvolvido na escola estadual João Clímaco de Camargo Píres no município de Sorocaba-SP, utilizando-se para tal, de análise documental, observação participante e entrevistas semiestruturadas. A partir da articulação teórica construída três categorías de análise foram formuladas: pulsão emancipatória, sensibilidade crítica e estética da Educação Libertadora. Em síntese, elas discorrem sobre as possibilidades de gratificação pulsional, mediante a ruptura com a racionalidade lucrativa presente na sociedade capitalista. A partir de uma nova racionalidade, articulada à uma nova sensibilidade, voltada à promoção da vida, vislumbra-se a possibilidade de superação da racionalidade da dominação. Dentro da educação sexual, a partir de uma concepção estética definida na dialogicidade, procura-se a sensibilidade diante das situações de desumanização. Assim, a prática pedagógica sobre educação sexual no ensino de ciências deve propiciar, via dimensão estética, a percepção sensível da potência para a liberdade, deve pelo campo da sensibilidade humana, despertar a necessidade e a possibilidade de emancipação social e individual. A análise do Projeto de Prevenção Sexual, permitiu a percepção da não superação das perspectivas restritas sobre educação sexual, sendo recorrentes as abordagens biologistas. Como possibilidade de superação e direcionamento para uma educação sexual humanizadora, estética, ética e politicamente engajada, a perspectiva de construção curricular via tema gerador apresenta-se como um constructo sociocultural com possibilidades de colocar os sujeitos em movimento praxiológico por sua humanização.

Esta dissertação apresenta o sentido ético do cuidado de si voltado aos ambientes competitivos de trabalho, a partir das obras de Sêneca, intituladas Da tranquilidade da alma, A brevidade da vida, A vida feliz e Cartas a Lucílio, tendo como apoio teórico as interpretações feitas por Michel Foucault, no livro A hermenêutica do sujeito. O estudo das referidas obras de Sêneca permite demonstrar suas inter-relações com o cuidado de si e com o cuidado do outro, bem como, com o significado do cuidado de si, no contexto estoico desse filósofo. Diante da questão sobre qual o sentido do cuidado de si em ambientes competitivos de trabalho, os quais podem não se limitar apenas à extensão do espaço físico, mas se estender à dimensão da vida do indivíduo, examina-se o sentido de cuidado de si, pelo olhar ético de Sêneca, e se o relaciona aos ambientes competitivos de trabalho. The developement of this metamorphosis of critical theory is split into three parts within this work: first part elaborates individual moments and motives of this positive dialectic and also observes the develomepent of skepticism within it; second part elaborates the sceptical turn itself and the third part deals with the negative dialectics mainly presented within the work The Dialectic of Enlightenment. This paper considers the way Herbert Marcuse’s re-formulation of the instrumental reason as a technical reason can be understood as an intensification or acceleration of some of the themes presented by Theodor W. Adorno and Max Horkheimer in The Dialectics of Enlightenment. By reading Marcuse´s The One-Dimensional Man in dialogue with Martin Heidegger’s The Question Concerning Technology, the paper explores a thesis that Marcuse draws on concepts from Heidegger, especially Ge-stell and Bestand, in his notion of the “technical reason” and “technological rationality” to think and think beyond modern technology. By positing modern technology as the focal point of the instrumentalization of reason, Marcuse sheds light of historical and contemporary problems with human thinking. The staging of this conversation with Marcuse and Heidegger that never really took place allows the paper to fully explore and understand Marcuse’s invoking of the aesthetical dimension, as well as his re-appropriation of Freudian terminology, as a model to re-establish negative thinking as a necessary counteraction to the one-dimensional positive thinking that is dominating private and public sphere.

Thru Marx’s, Marcuse’s and Adorno’s thinkings, we evidence men’s active role in their historicism, as well as the educational role in this society model. For this purpose we point out Marx’s ontological presuppositions of sociohistorical men’s relations, emphasizing his conception of History and the alienation socially constructed by men themselves. We also emphasize Marcuse’s critique of the Instrumental Reason, pointing out the new individuality patterns that emerge from the technological society, as well as his defense in rescuing the negative thinking as a condition to overcome and transform this society model. We demonstrate Adorno’s analysis of the dominant social relations through culture industry, which ended destroying the individual humane dimension. Based on his analysis, we point out his claims to rescue men’s humanization enabling them to enlightenment and critical reflection, so that they can free themselves of oppression and domination circumstances. We emphasize his beliefs in an emancipatory education which conducts men to the transformation of society. Finally, our work presents Marx’s, Marcuse’s and Adorno’s contributions in making possible this emancipatory and critical education / O trabalho tem como questão central de análise a sociedade industrial avançada do ponto de vista da Teoria Crítica, no sentido de repensar o significado da dominação e da barbárie que nela impera, evidenciando o papel ativo do homem na sua historicidade, como também o papel da educação nesse modelo de sociedade, através do pensamento de Marx, Marcuse e Adorno. Para isso destaca, de Marx, os pressupostos ontológicos das relações histórico-sociais dos homens enfatizando sua concepção de história, bem como a alienação socialmente construída pelo próprio homem. De Marcuse, enfatiza sua crítica à Razão instrumental, destacando os novos padrões da individualidade, surgidos na sociedade tecnológica, como também sua defesa para o resgate do pensamento negativo como condição para superação e transformação desse modelo de sociedade. Quanto à Adorno, demonstra a análise que ele faz das relações sociais dominantes, através da indústria cultural, que culminou com a destruição da dimensão humana do indivíduo e, a partir dessa análise, a defesa que ele faz da necessidade de resgatar a humanização do homem, capacitando-o para o esclarecimento e para a reflexão crítica, a fim de libertá-lo das condições de opressão e de menoridade em que se encontra. Enfatiza sua crença numa educação emancipatória, que conduz o homem para a transformação da sociedade. Finalmente o trabalho mostra as contribuições de Marx, Marcuse e Adorno que apontam e viabilizam essa educação crítica e emancipatória
