Horák, Pavel January 2014 (has links)
HORÁK, Pavel, Počátky poúnorového sociálnědemokratického exilu (1948-1953) [Forming of socialdemocratic post-February exile (1948-1953)], Praha, Karlova univerzita, Filozofická fakulta, Ústav českých dějin, 2014, 392 s. Vedoucí diplomové práce Doc. PhDr. Jana Čechurová, Ph.D. The study aims to answer questions in which way was formed socialdemocratic exile party in the years 1948-1953. It studies who, how and why could have or wanted to have been involved in this process. The topic is viewed from the institutional perspective of an "exile party". It analyses how was the party organised and negotiated. Besides personal stories in the background of refugee everydayness it also looks into what it meant to a be a "social democrat" in "post-February exile" and whether the "exile party" created its own sphere of communicative space for formulating program and various demands and initiatives. The work focuses on the formative period of "exile". It is delimited by the year 1953 which proved a long-term, bipolar character of the world order. The hypothesis is the statement that the "exile socialdemocratic party" was formed in the frame of Czechoslovakian post-February migration as an institution which was creating its own communication, social and migration networks based on specific criteria. At the same...

Poválečná historie Romů v Československu ve vzpomínkách pamětníků: Možnosti rekonstrukce poválečné migrace vybrané skupiny Romů ze Slovenska do českých zemí / Post-war history of Roms in Czechoslovakia in the Eye-Witness Perspective: Possibilities of Reconstruction of Post-War Migration of a Selected Group of Roms from Slovakia into the Czech Lands

Sadílková, Helena January 2016 (has links)
This thesis is concentrated on the topic of the post-war migration of Roms from Slovakia to the Czech Lands as the crucial process in the post-war history of Roms on the territory of former Czechoslovakia which had its effects not only on individual groups of Roms living in Slovakia and migrating to the Czech Lands, but also on the next developments in the relations of the Czech majority society towards the Roms and changes in the approach to them on the side of central state institutions. The thesis offers a presentation of a complex historic case study of post-war migration of a particular local group of Roms from south- eastern Slovakia to the city of Brno (Moravia), based on a synthetic research method combining both oral history and written sources of mostly regional provenience. The author has applied the method in two different contexts: while reconstructing the developments in the situation of the group of Roms and their relations with the majority society in Slovakia during 1920' to 1970's, and while mapping the post-war migration of part of these people in relation to two localities in the Czech Lands, with one representing a transit locality of their early post-war migration and the other their final destination where this group of Roms lives still today. The author places the case study...

Integrace žáků s odlišným mateřským jazykem do české základní školy / Integration of students with a different mother tongue into a Czech elementary school

Procházková, Nikola January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the integration of pupils with another mother tongue into the Czech elementary school. The thesis has a theoretical-empirical character. The theoretical part is based on professional literature and provides basic information on the number of foreigners in the Czech Republic, migration, categories of foreigners and legislation related to the stay of foreigners in the Czech Republic. It also deals with the term of a pupil with another mother tongue, as well as the legislation related to the education of these pupils in the Czech Republic. It describes in detail how to integrate a pupil with another mother tongue into school. At the end of the theoretical part of the thesis are described barriers that prevent inclusion of pupils and activities that would facilitate integration. The aim of the empirical part of the thesis is to find out how the integration of pupils with a different mother tongue into the Czech elementary school from the point of view of pedagogues and teachers assistants is taking place. The research survey is of good quality. Data are obtained through semi-structured interviews with 4 teachers and 4 teacher assistants. Among the main findings of the research is that a key factor in integrating the pupil is his family, which can help with inclusion and...

Měření statistické závislosti vybraných parametrů cizinců v Jihočeském kraji v letech 2000 - 2016 / Measurement of statistical dependence selected parameters of foreigners in South Bohemian Region in years 2000 - 2016

SAMKOVÁ, Jaroslava January 2018 (has links)
This Master´s thesis examines structural links on the number of foreigner nationals legally staying in the territory of South Bohemia between 2000 and 2016. The following objectives have been defined: Objective 1: To acquire a comprehensive overview of the number of foreigners with long-term or permanent residence living in the territory of South Bohemia between 2000 and 2016 and to demonstrate the current trends Objective 2: To demonstrate the link between the annual approved long-term or permanent residence in the territory of South Bohemia between 2000 and 2016 Objective 3: To perform a comparison of the results achieved with the European trends Due to the results achieved by the applied quantitative research, the objectives of the thesis are considered to have been met. The theoretical part of the thesis covered the strategy of the migration policy of the Czech Republic. This part defines a concept of migration, in conjunction with the legislative aspect of the given case, the concept of a foreign national and categories of residential permits, as long-term and permanent residence, depending on their duration, including an analysis of different types of long-term and permanent residence. Initially, the purpose of the practical part consisted in the collection of statistical data necessary for the examination of a dependence in the form of the most important statistical indicators for the specified years, i.e. between 2000 and 2016. The tables and charts necessary for the regression analysis of long-term and permanent residence, and for the correlative research of a dependence between long-term and permanent residence needed to evaluate the objectives of this research, were created based on acquired data files. The aim of this Master´s thesis was to evaluate, confirm or refute the following hypotheses: H1 Hypothesis: The annual numbers of foreigner nationals with permanent residence can be expressed by a linear regression model, which shows an increasing trend. H2 Hypothesis: The annual numbers of foreigner nationals with long-term residence can be expressed by a linear regression model, which shows an increasing trend. H3 Hypothesis: The annual numbers of foreigner nationals with permanent and long-term residence positively correlate. The H1 hypothesis was verified by a linear regression model for approved permanent residence. The H2 hypothesis was verified for the first interval (the first 7 years with a rising linear regression) and partly for the second interval (the remaining years until 2016 with a decreasing linear regression). In general, the adoption of the H2 hypothesis should be assumed distantly (the economic crisis intervention, the role of the 5-year period). The H3 hypothesis is on the verge of rejection - the consequences of the economic crisis and the 5-year period reveal either a very weak positive correlation between permanent and long-term residence or an uncorrelated form. The findings provided in the Master´s thesis generate a number of other topics for follow-up research (a link to economic cycles, connection to the parameters of asylum procedures).

Stůj, ruce vzhůru! Tady Pohraniční stráž. Kdo tam? / Halt, hands up! Here is the border patrols. Who goes there?

POLÁK, Petr January 2009 (has links)
The aim of my diploma paper is to approximate the period of the divided world in the area of Novohradské hory in South Bohemian region in the twentieth century. The paper is based on many unpublished archive materials, scientific literature and mainly on many interviews with the personal observers living in this area. At first, I try to capture general events at the Bohemian {--} Austrian state boundary from the eldest time to the present. Next chapters deals with the problems of locating border patrols, the lives of members of the Frontier police and the attendance of local people at security of the state boundary. Based on the unpublished materials, the paper introduces destinies of the detained people and the dead who tried to cross the state boundary illegaly. I would also like to mention the main illegal groups of the III. anticommunist revolt, which were operating in the Budweis region, and also the agents of foreign intelligence services. Generally, I try to capture destinies of not only direct victims of the Iron Curtain {--} who were in fact vulnerable runners, but also destinies of soldiers executing compulsory millitary services, who were unfortunatelly forced to execute their national duty {--} to protect the state boundaries of totalitarian regime.

Proč klientky Centra JANA vstupují do prostituce? / The Centre JANA Domazlice and it´s client´s ethical motivational aspects of becoming a prostitute

NĚMEČKOVÁ, Kateřina January 2010 (has links)
Women, who earn a living as prostitutes, have their own needs, hold certain values and want to fulfil their objectives. The purpose of my work is to make these values and objectives specific and compare the results with fact given in specialized literature. The first part of my work makes basic for the quantitative research. There are chapters about phenomena which can influence the step in prostitution. Secondly, there is a description of motivation phenomenon. Additionally there is a chapter about specific motivation aspects leading to prostitution behaviour. The practical part shows the summary of theoretical data and creating assumptions. All the information are reflected in questions which are involved in these half-structured interviews. All interviews were hold with clients of JANA Centre in the Czech Republic and with clients of Kassandra Centre in Germany. There is the congruence between data gained from my quantitative research and data published in specialized literature. Women working for sex business are not a group which would be easily generalized. Each person experiences various circumstances and all these conditions diversity of their behaviour. Respondents advocate similar values and want to reach suchlike objectives. These is first of all a normal family, a normal job and own children. This term "normal" means for these women a full family and any other job except prostitution.

Prognóza vývoje obyvatelstva Moravskoslezského kraje do roku 2050 / Moravskoslezský region population forecast to 2050

Papřoková, Petra January 2017 (has links)
Moravskoslezský region population forecast to 2050 Abstract The main goal of this thesis is to calculate Moravskoslezský region population forecast to 2050 and show how future population growth will likely be in the next decades. It includes a detailed population development analysis which is an important part of this thesis. Moravskoslezský region is still one of the most populous regions of Czechia, despite of natural decrease and negative net migration in past 21 years (except 2007 and 2008). Based on the analysis, we can assume that population decline will continue in the future and population forecast results confirm this hypothesis. Declining population size will be followed by significant age-structure changes in population and progressive demographic ageing. From the perspective of future population development Moravskoslezský region will face brand new situations and related problems. Keywords: population forecast, Moravskoslezský region, analysis of population development, age structure, fertility, mortality, migration, regional development, cohort-component method
