Background: The psychology of behavior change and addictive substance users' motivation to get treatment is a topical issue in addictology. The reasons why patients enter treatment vary; they have different goals, and they differ in the degree to which they are able to reflect these goals. To understand addictive behavior, it is necessary to pay attention to all aspects that determine it, i.e. to recognize the abilities, opportunities and motivations of their behavior and their interaction. The topic of patient motivation at the very beginning of the institutional treatment process of addiction, i.e. when entering detox, was not given enough attention in the Czech Republic, despite the fact that detoxification is in many cases the first, indispensable step in starting medium-term and long-term residential treatment of addiction, and work with motivation is a method of direct work with patients. Aims: To map the motivation for treatment of addiction to addictive substances in patients voluntarily hospitalized at the Detox K20department at the Kosmonosy Psychiatric Hospital. Background: Theory and research declares that family memberes engagement in adolescent treatment has positive impact on treatment outcomes. To get the famillies engaged is quite challenging for proffesionals in addiction treatment services. Motivation of individual members fluctuate a lot. The impact on treatment is due to the voluntarity of treatment or recomendation of a third side. Even dough engagement of legal representatives is declared condition of treatment in Regional Ambulance for Adddictions in Children and Youth, it is complicated to motivate them for cooperation. Aims: The aim of the thesis is to find out how the legal representatives percieve cooperation with outpatient services, if they percieve any obstacles in getting more involved and to find out, what is their view on adolescent's profit from treatment. Methods: For the research a qualitative approach was used in the form of semi- structured interview and interpretation of the data from client files and UniData program. Data collection took work during 05/18-11/18. For the data analysis the method of gestalts was used. The thesis called "The opportunities and obstacles of active leisure time from the perspective of the high school students" deals with the leisure time of selected high school students. The main aim is get information about their possibilities and obstacles in their leisure time. The theoretical part focuses on the themes leisure time and the development period of adolescence across chapters. That part does not miss the related theme of motivation, lifestyle and technology in leisure time. The practical part evaluates the questionnaire survey and examines activities high school students in their free time, and finds out their possibilities and barriers in their leisure time. Finally, I realized an analysis of leisure institutions and created an online map of leisure institutions where students can spend their time and be active. Beneficial for pedagogical practice are results of the survey which provide feedback for the school, but also for pedagogical practice in high school in general.

The aim of the diploma thesis is the theoretic description of forms of motivation, rewards and punishments applied on elementary school pupils. The research was aimed at the individual forms of motivation, rewards and punishments that respondents apply in their teaching and what the effects are. Theory and practice are compared with the intention to highlight attitudes and features that are applied by teachers in the fields of motivation, rewards and punishments. Consequently, the agreement of forms of motivation and rewards for pupils described in the literature and their application of practical teaching at the elementary school was confirmed. However, the point the academic literature and applied practice differs were the forms and methods of pupil's punishments. Opinions about applied forms of punishment have been diverged by individual interviewed teachers although researched file shows considerable agreement in the previous two topics. The purpose of the thesis is to acquire an outline and detailed information about the given issue and their subsequent comparison with the practice knowledge. Main target of the diploma thesis is to provide proposals how to improve the current system of the development of employees in the chosen organization. For this purpose, the unnamed organization based in South Bohemian region has been chosen. The diploma thesis consists of two parts - theoretical part includes information dedicated to the topic of the system of the development of human resources which were found both in Czech and international sources. Practical part includes the analysis of the system of the development of operators in the chosen organization - necessary data were provided by the employees of the human resources and production departments. Another data has been collected from the survey that was focused on operators. Analysis has provided the base for proposals for improvements of the current system of the development of operators.

The topic of the thesis is the use of selected tasks, which I created in my bachelor thesis, in the mathematics teaching at grammar schools. These are problematic word problems from geometry curriculum with financial themes. The aim of the thesis is to find out the role of the word problems in pupils' motivation in teaching. The theoretical part describes the issue of motivation and pupil motivation for learning. I also deal with problem of word problems, their definition and typology. The practical part is focused on experiment with aim to find out the use of selected tasks in the mathe- matics teaching at grammar school. In the experiment, I primarily examined whether the tasks motivated pupils , how successful they were in solving and the influence of financial themes in selected tasks on the pupil's emotional state or his success in solving the task. I processed statistical data quantitatively and qualitatively. To collect statistical data, I used a questionnaire and observation. The evaluation of the experiment includes statistics on pupils' motivation to solve the tasks and pupils' success in solving the task. This thesis aims to get to know the current level of job satisfaction of employees of coal mining company Sokolovská uhelná. Theoretical part of this thesis is based on a relevant literature and focused on stimulation, job satisfaction and factors that influence the current job. The analysis was realized by a questionnaire, which was applied to a representative sample of employees. The analysis was aimed to the general relationship between employees and the company, as well as the satisfaction with the organization of work, labor environment, supervisor work, possibilities for educated and skilled employees, remuneration, interpersonal relationships and social program. The obtained results are processed, and precautions for possible improvements leading to increase the level of job satisfaction of employees are formulated on the basis of their proposal.

Analýza motivace dobrovolníků / Analysis of Volunteer Motivation

This master's thesis deals with motivation of volunteers. The theoretical part focuses on the field of volunteering in general and also the field of motivation of volunteers. The empirical part presents results from the research that was conducted to find out what the motivation of volunteers in two non-profit organizations was. Findings were put into context and similarities and differences between the two were found. Research was based on questionnaires distributed to volunteers and in-depth interviews with the workers from both organizations. The interviews revealed the perspective of volunteer motivation from the organizations' side. Analysis of results was followed by recommendations for both organizations to improve their work with volunteers.
