Analýza fonace u pacientů s Parkinsonovou nemocí / Analysis of phonation in patients with Parkinson's diseaseKopřiva, Tomáš January 2015 (has links)
This work deals with analysis of phonation in patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD). Approximately 90% of patients with Parkinson’s disease suffer from speech motor dysfunction called hypokinetic dysarthria. System for Parkinson’s disease analysis from speech signals is proposed and several types of features are examined. Czech Parkinson’s speech database called PARCZ is used for classification. This dataset consists of 84 PD patients and 49 healthy controls. Results are evaluated in two ways. Firstly, features are individually analysed by Spearman correlation, mutual information and Mann-Whitney U test. Classification is based on random forests along with leave-one-out validation. Secondly, SFFS algorithm is employed for feature selection in order to get the best classification result. Proposed system is tested for each gender individually and both genders together as well. Best result for both genders together is expressed by accuracy 89,47 %, sensitivity 91,67% and specificity 85,71 %. Results of this work showed that the most important vowel realizations for phonation analysis are sustained vowels pronounced with maximum or minimum intensity (not whispering).

"Hlavně ať je to dítě zdravé!": Rodičovství v kontextu péče o dítě s chronickou nemocí / "Just let it be a healthy child!": Parenting in the Context of Caring of a Child with a Chronic IlllnessTampierová, Lenka January 2017 (has links)
My diploma thesis deals with issues of gender relations and the construction of identities of lived experiences of parents caring for a child (children) with a chronic illness. For my qualitative research, I have chosen the method of semi-structured interviews with both parents of the child (children). Subsequent analysis of the data in this empirical study examines the way in which care for a child with chronic illness affects, due to its demanding character, gender relations and whether it leads to more balanced gender relations or vice versa. I also deal with the process of identifying both parents in the day care of a child with chronic illness in the context of a combination of paid work and home care and children. In my work, I see how my communication partners are conceptualizing the chronic illness of the child as a differentness and the care of a child with a chronic illness as a burden. I focus on the emotional plane of parenthood and also analyze the processes of negotiation within different institutions (health and education organizations, state authorities). Key words: Chronic illness, child, parenthood, differentness, burden, care, gender relations

Nutriční stav u pacientů s Huntingtonovou nemocí a nutriční podpora / Nutritional Status in Patients with Huntington's Disease and Nutritional SupportKosheleva, Svetlana January 2020 (has links)
Huntington's disease is a dominantly-inherited autosomal neurodegenerative disease manifested by disorders of motility, cognitive function, behaviour, and weight loss, which is conditioned multifactorially. The aim of the study was to determine whether there are eating disorders in Huntington's disease, as well as its etiology and severity. Neurological scaling, anthropometric examinations, evaluation of three-day diet records, measurements with a manual dynamometer, bioimpedance analyses, indirect colorimetry and predictions of energy expenditure were performed on 10 patients. Algorithms were applied for the diagnosis of sarcopenia and malnutrition. Unwanted weight loss was observed in all patients and 4 out of 10 showed malnutrition. No difference was found between the values of measured resting metabolism and calculated according to the predictive equation. However, it has been shown that strict nutritional recommendations based on this data can be misleading for some patients with HN, as real energy consumption can be significantly higher. All our patients had a positive energy balance. A new diagnostic algorithm for the early diagnosis of sarcopenia has proven its worth. Using bioimpedance analysis and examination of the force of the handshake, we identified possible sarcopenia and already-present...

Odškodnění pozůstalých při pracovních úrazech a nemocech z povolání / Compensation for the bereaved in the case of work accidents and occupational diseasesPivničková, Kateřina January 2019 (has links)
Compensation for the bereaved in the case of work accidents and occupational diseases Abstract The topic of my diploma thesis is compensation for the bereaved in the case of work accidents and occupational diseases. It is a topic with a relatively settled legislation and a subject which is present - nevertheless, ground-breaking changes in this issue cannot be really anticipated any more. Introductory part of my thesis deals primarily with a theoretical definition of a term liability and liability in labor law. It deals with the conditions of inception of liability, the reasons that allow release from liability and finally, with the obligation of an employer to compensate damages or non-material damage in the cases of work accidents and occupational diseases. I also devote myself to define terms work accident and occupational disease, and for better understanding and explanation of disputable questions, I refer to judicature of the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court. The mainstay of my thesis is dedicated to the particular types of compensation provided either directly to the aggrieved employees as the consequence of work accident or occupational disease, or to the bereaved in the case of death due to the work accident or occupational disease. I also compare the labor law regulation to the...

The research was focused on the theoretical part, in which basic issue of nutrition and hydration are shown, as well as the acute issues that climbers may have experience on their journey to high altitude. The practical part was evaluated by a quantitative approach with the help of a questionnaire survey and its evaluation. The questionnaire was anonymous, nonstandardized with open and closed questions. A total of 68 respondents participated in the research. The results of the investigation are evaluated and discussed in the final parts of the thesis. The main objective of the thesis was focused on the dietary habits of respondents during their stay in high altitude, their awareness of the risks resulting from poor nutrition and dehydration and assess how much care respondents take about nutrition and hydration during their travels. Male oscuro - Aufzeichnungen aus der Zeit der Krankheit. Záznamy Ingeborg Bachmannové z doby její nemoci a jejich vztah k jejímu literárnímu dílu. / Male oscuro - Ingeborg Bachmann's Aufzeichnungen aus der Zeit der Krankheit and their relations to her literary workSzűcsová, Alica January 2020 (has links)
This thesis analyses Ingeborg Bachmann's posthumously published texts in the volume Male oscuro. Aufzeichnungen aus der Zeit der Krankheit and their relations to her literary work. Two central themes are elaborated through the analysis of the volume: illness and writing. The focus is on Bachmann's conception of writing and the issues arising from it. A comparison between Male oscuro and the author's work, the short story Undine geht and two poems Keine Delikatessen and Böhmen liegt am Meer, shows analogies on several different levels. The concept of utopia indicates continuity in Bachmann's work and the existential condition for her writing in relation to the metaphor of 'desert'. Key words: Ingeborg Bachmann, Male oscuro, illness, writing, metaphoric, contrariness, comparison, utopia
