Mystery shopping: Využití a optimalizace metody u konkrétní organizace v ČR / Mystery shopping: Use and optimization methods for a particular organization in the Czech Republic

Křišťál, Jaroslav January 2011 (has links)
The thesis is focused on the research method of Mystery Shopping, used for anonymous and impartial evaluation of service quality and customer service. In the theoretical part I will examine how and why the method is used, what is the procedure for its application and how the results are then interpreted. An important part is the ethical codes that are specific to this method. In the practical part I will use theoretical areas of knowledge which will then be applied into practice. In the selected company measures of the level of customer service are examined with the just-mentioned method. After the research I was able to reveal the company's management strengths and weaknesses in customer care, and advise them on which areas should be addressed in the next period. I also suggested ways to optimize methods for the mystery shopping company to give better information about the company's management level customer service to stores.

Pěstounská péče na přechodnou dobu - fenomén současné náhradní rodinné péče / Foster care for a transitional period - the phenomenon of the current alternative family care

SEDLÁČKOVÁ VINKLEROVÁ, Blanka January 2015 (has links)
Short-term foster care is a fairly new form of substitute family care. Despite it having been incorporated in law since 2006, short-term foster care have only begun being employed seven years later. Only then the details of its administration were laid out in legislation. Purpose of this form of substitute family care is to prevent a placement of children into institutional care. It's possible to look at the professional foster care from different angles and thus assess it differently. Certainly, it has its positive and negative aspects as well as possible problems. It's undeniable that a well-functioning family is the best environment for raising and caring for a child. Forming an emotional bond is one of the most discussed factors contributing to the proper development of children placed in short-term foster care. Experts as well as the general public are looking for answers to the questions whether or not it's in the interest of the child to form an attachment to someone who's with them only for a short period of time, which children is professional foster care best suited for, whether children living in short-term foster care placements are less prone to suffer from emotional deprivation than children placed in institutional care or whether the duration of this form of foster care is sufficient. More questions arise over the degree of health care provided to infants placed with a professional forster family as well as over the level of risk of these children suffering traumas and stigmatizing experience compared to children living in institutional care. The objective of this thesis is to survey and assess the experience gained so far from implementing short-term foster care and to try and describe based on (previously) established facts how the children benefit from this form of substitute family care. In order to meet the set objective I chose a qualitative research strategy, the interview as a method, a semi-structured interview and a secondary analysis strategies. The results show that the most common reason for placing a child in this form of foster care is the impending adoption, i. e. it's mainly being used for infants whilst adoption placements are sorted out for them. To a lesser extent there are other reasons, respectively a minimum of older children are placed with professional foster families. Given these facts, it appears necessary to regard the short-term foster care differently depending on the age group of children placed in it. Undeniable merits of all cases of short-term foster care are an individual approach to each child that minimizes emotional deprivation and development of trauma, the development of the attachment behaviour and enough stimuli to influence a child's development. In the case of older children these are an experience of living in a well-functioning family and a positive educational impact. Developing an attachment between the child and the foster parent and then losing it because of the child's departure from a family is more risky for older children than newborns and toddlers. Claim that no attachment is to be formed between the child and the foster parent proved entirely unrealistic. The lack of permanent medical supervision can be seen as a disadvantage of professional foster care especially from the perspective of child welfare workers. Children placed for adoption often come from not monitored pregnancies or parents at-risk, i.e. these are children with unknown history whose development can therefore be risky, so they require a professional medical care in the first weeks of their lives. Research results have also indicated foster parents' positive motivation to professional fostering, an undisputed enrichment that this occupation brings their entire families and a satisfaction resulting from the meaningfulness of their work. The author believes that the institute of short-term foster care is undoubtedly very beneficial for a certain category of

Komplexní ošetřovatelská péče o pacienta po neurochirurgické operaci u vybraných onemocnění / Comprehensive nursing care for a patient after a neurosurgical operation in selected diseases

VEJVODOVÁ, Hana January 2015 (has links)
Theoretical approaches: Neurosurgery is a wide and sophisticated field and given the variety of neurological issues, this thesis focuses on the brain (vascular issues and tumors). Goals: This thesis has two goals. 1. To single out the specifics of caring for patients after brain surgery (of selected conditions). 2. To find out, whether the nurses know the specifics of caring for a patient after brain surgery. Hypotheses and research questions: H1: Nurses with tertiary education have greater theoretical knowledge of caring for patients after brain surgery than the nurses without tertiary education. H2: Nurses after getting the job of caring for patients after brain surgery didn't have an instructor.H3: Nurses after getting the job of caring for patients after brain surgery, most commonly struggle with an external ventricular drainage system. H4: Nurses most commonly gain the required knowledge to care for patients after brain surgery from literature. Research question 1: What is the level of knowledge of novice nurses about the specifics of caring for a patient with a brain condition? Methodology: The research was split in two parts. For the quantitative part of the research, the questionnaire method was selected. The questionnaire had 22 questions, 17 of them closed, 4 of them semi-open, 1 was an open question. The researchers handed out 300 questionnaires and received 246 (82%) of them back. 49 questionnaires had to be discarded as invalid. The final research sample consisted of 197 (100%) filled-out questionnaires. For the qualitative part of the research, the method of semi-structured interviews with open questions was selected. There were a total of 8 interviews conducted. Results: The goal of quantitative part of the research was to confirm or disprove the 4 hypotheses. H1: Nurses with tertiary education have greater theoretical knowledge of caring for patients after brain surgery than the nurses without tertiary education. Based on the data, we can see that the knowledge of nurses with tertiary education is not different from the knowledge of nurses without tertiary education. H1 was disproved. H2: Nurses after getting the job of caring for patients after brain surgery didn't have an instructor. Based on the questionnaire data, nurses did have an instructor. H2 was disproved. H3: Nurses after getting the job of caring for patients after brain surgery, most commonly struggle with an external ventricular drainage system. Based on the research data, an external ventricular drainage system is indeed the most commonly quoted problematic procedure when caring for a patient after brain surgery. H3 was confirmed. H4: Nurses most commonly gain the required knowledge to care for patients after brain surgery from literature. The research shows that this is not the case. Nurses most commonly learn the specifics of caring for patients after brain surgery from their instructors. H4 was disproved. For the qualitative part of the research, the method of semi-structured interviews with open questions was selected. The research question was: What is the level of knowledge of novice nurses about the specifics of caring for a patient with a brain condition? The interviews have shown that the knowledge of novice nurses about the specifics of caring for patients with a brain condition is on an appropriate level they know the specifics of caring for patients after brain surgery. Conclusion:The conducted original research as well as secondary literature has led us to several questions and recommendations: Is the nurse who has just started at the neurosurgery division properly being instructed about the specifics of her new job and is the adaptation process being conducted in the proper fashion? The results of this thesis suggest that a "Caring for patients in neurosurgery" manuscript could be written for general care nurses just starting at neurosurgery. This option was mentioned by some of the respondents in the questionnaire research

Dostupnost zdravotnické péče v Karlovarském kraji / Accessibility to healthcare in Karlovarský kraj

Kubalíková, Alžběta January 2015 (has links)
This thesis is focused on the assessment of health care in the Karlovy Vary region in terms of availability of hospital equipment. Healthcare in the Czech Republic is undergoing fundamental changes, which primarily related to the aging population, the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases and the related changes in the status of patients with pressure on public budgets. This leads to increased costs, which burdens the economy of hospitals, but also the entire health system. Health care providers and insurance companies must prepare for the increasing number of elderly and chronically ill population and the associated increasing health spending. Health expenditures are growing everywhere in the world and the main problem is mainly a lack of health care finance and skilled health workers. Investments in health and education and research among the most efficient yet. Indeed, only healthy people can work, create value and pay taxes. These problems have a long-term trend of continuous decline in the capacity of acute care. Healthcare fulfill a social function and stabilizing the company, but may also be the engine of the economy that is a major employer and purchaser of goods and services. Investigations in health care is possible, but only with negative effects on patients. Deficient management system can hardly continue. Professionals who deal with this issue, for several years calling for a detailed analysis of the availability of health services, and after a hierarchical structure of the state-controlled network of inpatient health care facilities. Without the political will and will not elaborate procedures to reform or to improve the effectiveness and efficiency in health care at any level.

Vybrané ekonomické souvislosti služeb sociální péče / Selected economic context of social care services

Čechová, Ilona January 2016 (has links)
Summary In the theoretical part of the thesis Selected Economic Aspects of Social Care Services, I present a definition and an overview of the statutory regulation of social care services in the historical perspective and from the viewpoint of the valid law. The subsequent section, which is the core segment of the theoretical part of my thesis, sets forth a specification and a general outline of all social care services available in our jurisdiction. The chapter about the funding of social services identifies the available financial resources, and the range of options associated with the payment of social care services. The services and particularly the financing methods constitute a frequent topic for discussion among all main initiators (promoters, movers) of social services. In the practical part of the thesis, I present an identification of financial resources of one selected social service provider, and an analysis of its income from transfers, users payments for meals, from the accommodation and care allowances, and other revenue generated from 2005 to 2015. This part of the thesis also shows a comparison of the amount of individual transfers and payments from users, including per-user care allowance per year and month in the period from 2005 to 2015. The analysis is then used to identify the system for subsidy allocation, to draw conclusions on specific findings, and to present some recommendations. The last section of the practical part compares the selected social service provider with other organizations providing the same services in the year 2014.
