Bring Your Own Device : what is it good for

Rihm, Sivert, Olsson, Mikael January 2013 (has links)
Vad är BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)? / What is BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)? BYOD is a relatively new trend in which employees in a company has the opportunity to bring their own electronic devices such as Smartphones, Tablets and Laptops. On the Internet you can find some information about the phenomena BYOD and during our education some teachers has gone in to the subject loosely. This awoken a curiosity to dig deeper in the subject, because it seemed to be a trend in the rising. This is such a new phenomenon that many companies doesn’t know how to handle this in their network. The companies also has to reevaluate their security policies.

Suaugusiųjų savišvieta kaip priemonė asmenybei tobulinti (-is) neformalaus švietimo sistemoje / Adults' self-education as a mean for personal improvement in the system of informal education

Būgaitė, Dovilė 17 June 2005 (has links)
Modern man must be able not only to learn but also to look actively for knowledge, information by himself, to determine his position in changing society. Self-education comes to help here. Self-education can be perceived as individual work (reading books, magazines, newspapers) that can be coordinated with collective forms of work (courses, seminars, lectures). Therefore, it can be asserted that self-education is mostly individualized activity of cognition helping to develop versatile and harmonious personality interested not only in the field of professional activities but in politics, aesthetics, moral as well. Research aim is to analyze adults’ self-education as a mean for personal improvement by giving recommendations how self-education could be made more efficient. The research was carried out from December 2004 to February 2005 seeking to disclose the needs of self-education of adult residents of Utena region as well as possibilities for their satisfaction. The method of random selection was applied in the research. Over 300 respondents were questioned by the means of questionnaires. The research was carried out in Utena A. ir M Miškinių Public Library and in libraries of Užpaliai and Vyžuonos rural districts. The residents of Utena town and region have broad possibilities for self-education. Reclaiming our names : shifts post-1994 in Zulu personal naming practices.

Ngubane, Sihawukele Emmanuel. January 2000 (has links)
The thesis underpinning this dissertation was that, as in previous times of major social and historical change, naming practices amongst the Zulu have undergone significant changes since the advent in 1994 of a democratic govemment in South Africa. Since the democratisation process entails freedom for all, it was suspected that a differentiation process was developing within the Zulu group itself and that there were at least three broad economic groups: rural, 'rich-urban', and 'poor urban'. Fieldwork was undertaken in terms of these groups and the data obtained, analysed, and then compared and contrasted in order to identify differences and similarities and to measure shift away from traditional practices. What is apparent from the research is that while there is clear evidence of shift, the shifts that do exist, differ from group to group. The group which shows the least change is the rural, as was expected. The urban groups are fragmented into several sub-groups, most of whom differ from one another in their motivations for the changes they are making, although these seldom appear to have been made consciously. / Thesis (Ph.D.)-University of Natal, Durban, 2000.

Krävs utbildning förarbete i fritidshem?

Löfgren, Mimmi, Dackenberg Hedmark, Tobias January 2015 (has links)

: Föreställningar om familj och hem inom institutionsvården / Residential care as a family or institution? : Notions about family and home in residential care

Sundfeldt, Frida, Klint, Hanna January 2014 (has links)

A study of the effects of induced anxiety and induced relaxation upon the performance of subjects on the Personal orientation inventory

Brenden, Herbert A. January 1970 (has links)
The purpose of this investigation was to examine the effects of induced anxiety and induced relaxation upon the performance of subjects on the Personal Orientation Inventory. More specifically the study proposed to ascertain if there were any significant differences in POI test performance among subjects exposed to induced anxiety, induced relaxation, and "normal" conditions prior to responding to the POI.The subjects for this study were enrolled in Human Development (Psychology 230) Sections A and B - at Taylor University, Upland, Indiana, during the study, Eighty-five subjects (men and women) from the original population of 124 participated in the study. The 85 subjects comprised three randomly selected groups: experimental group #1 (26 subjects) which was exposed to anxiety arousing experiences; experimental group #2 (29 subjects) which was exposed to the relaxation experiences; and group #3 (30 subjects) which was exposed to a "normal" class discussion and operated as a control group. Each of the groups was then administered the POI immediately after participating in their respective experiences. In determining the effects of induced anxiety and induced relaxation upon the performance of subjects on the POI, 14 variables (POI scale scores) were analyzed to determine if the performance of anxious or relaxed subjects varied from that of the control group. A simple one-way analysis of variance revealed a significant difference at the .05 level of confidence on the Feeling Reactivity scale. Further analysis utilizing Duncan's Multiple Range Test showed that the significant difference was between the relaxed group and the control group which was administered the POI under "normal" conditions. This difference indicated a significantly greater responsiveness to needs and feelings on the part of the relaxed group. Otherwise, no significant differences at the .05 per cent level were found, and the remaining null hypotheses were accepted.A secondary analysis of data comparing men to men and women to women on the 14 variables (POI scale scores) was also made. No significant differences were found between the homogeneous groups. The results obtained in the present study indicated that the Personal Orientation Inventory was highly resistant to the effects of mood or response set. It seemed to measure an underlying or identifiable self-structure which was not significantly influenced by induced anxiety and induced relaxation. The study therefore lends support to the use of the POI as a measure of positive mental health in a variety of settings and under a variety of testing situations where subjects present differing moods or response sets.
