Krejčík, Pavel January 2014 (has links)
Title: Doping Cases in Czech Sport Objectives: The main goal of this work is to analyze doping cases in the Czech Republic by doping findings in terms of doping substances and methods, other doping offense, sport, nature of sampling, sanctions, and gender. Then compare the results with the statistics of doping cases in the world. The purpose is to collect, compare, then process and clarify the current statistics doping cases. Methods: To create work were used document analysis, text interpretation, comparison, collection of data, information and subsequent processing. Results: Among the athletes were punished the most abused group of anabolic substances. The largest representation of all groups detected substances were marijuana and testosterone. Among many other anti-doping rule violations included failing to submit to doping control. Most of doping cases were detected in bodybuilding. Individual athletes were compared with the collective prone to doping. In team sports doping was most widespread among volleyball players, football players and hockey players. Athletes were tested more than the competition out of the competition. The most common punishment for violation of anti-doping rules was two years Ineligibility. The highest rate was granted a lifetime Ineligibility. The men were compared with...

Kazachstán: úmrtnost v evropském kontextu (srovnání s vybranými evropskými zeměmi a etniky) / Kazakhstan: Mortality in European context (comparison with selected European countries and nationalities)

Petkov, Michal January 2012 (has links)
Kazakhstan: Mortality in European context (comparison with selected European countries and nationalities) Abstract The aim of this diploma thesis is to anylized mortality rates in Kazakhstan and compared it with selected European countries. In the begining of the thesis is brief outline of history and development of ethnic composition in this Central Asian Republic. Another section contains a comparison of the economic and social conditions in Kazakhstan with two selected European countries - the Czech Republic and Sweden. The thesis continues with comparison and development of the most important mortality indicators in the three above mentioned countries. One of the used criteria summarizes findings from the comparison of mortality backgrounds of three selected European minorities living in Kazakhstan (Germans, Russians and Ukrainians) with their country of origin. This comparison shows a big difference for German nationality, for Russians and Ukrainians the differences are minimal. The concept of avoidable mortality was also used for comparison mortality conditions in selected countries. The results show a low level of health care system in Kazakhstan. The analysis shows a clear gap in Kazakhstan levels of mortality in comparison with selected European countries and nations. Keywords: Kazakhstan, The...

Analýza atraktorů zobecněných Newtonovských tekutin v 3d oblastech / Analýza atraktorů zobecněných Newtonovských tekutin v 3d oblastech

Žabenský, Josef January 2011 (has links)
We investigate a system of nonlinear partial differential equations, specifically the so-called Ladyzhenskaya model, in three spatial dimensions. It will be shown that after inclusion of a perturbation of a higher order, the model exhibits a considerably better behavior, in particular it will become quite straightforward to prove differentiability of solutions with respect to the initial condition. Due to this fact we may consequently employ the method of Lyapunov exponents to estimate the fractal dimension of the exponential attractor. First, however, it will be necessary to show existence and uniqueness of solutions, improved regularity and existence of a compact invariant set for the entire system.

Guiding a Path Tracer with Local Radiance Estimates / Guiding a Path Tracer with Local Radiance Estimates

Berger, Martin January 2012 (has links)
Path tracing is a basic, statistically unbiased method for calculating the global illumination in 3D scenes. For practical purposes, the algorithm is too slow, so it is used mainly for theoretical purposes or as a base for more advanced algorithms. This thesis explores the possibility of improving this algorithm by augmenting the sampling part, which computes outgoing directions during ray traversal through the scene. This optimization is accomplished by creating a special data structure in a preprocess step, which describes approximate light distribution in the scene and which then aids the sampling process. The presented algorithm is implemented in the PBRT library.

Dědictví ICTY a jeho vliv na statut a praxi ICC / The legacy of ICTY and its impact upon the Statue and the practice of the ICC

Vrobel, Jan January 2013 (has links)
Legacy of ICTY and its Impact on Statute and Case Law of ICC Establishing of International Criminal Court is a significant moment in evolution of international criminal law. It is the first permanent institution of international justice with personal jurisdiction and it was founded for one purpose only - to finally end the era of impunity for war criminals all over the world. But ICC didn't appear from nowhere. There was a long road towards its establishment and who knows if it would ever happen without influence of so called ad hoc tribunals, International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. It is a sad truth that international criminal law made its biggest evolution as a reflection of the world's most horrible conflicts. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze a legacy of one of these tribunals, International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, and to explore its influence not only on the Statute of International Criminal Court, but also on its case law. International Criminal Court is not operating for long, but we can still notice many references on ICTY case law in its judgments. The reason for this research is my particular relation towards Balkan region as well as my interest in international justice in general. The thesis is composed...

Dětský voják v mezinárodním právu / Child Soldier in International Law

Kučerová, Zuzana January 2019 (has links)
Zuzana Kučerová: Child Soldier in International Law Abstract This thesis deals with child soldiers from the perspective of the international law. It is predominantly concerned with two questions: protection of children from recruiting and their possible criminal responsibility for international crimes. After a short introductory chapter, which covers a brief history of child soldiers, the second part gives an overview of international legal instruments which aim at preventing the underaged from being recruited into armed groups, as well as from taking part in hostilities. Those instruments belong to three different branches of international law: humanitarian law, human rights law and international criminal law. The author concludes that international criminal law in particular is the best instrument to protect children from becoming child soldiers. The reason is that international criminal law applies directly to individuals, including non-state actors such as commanders of paramilitary forces. It is also in force at the times when there is no armed conflict as defined by international humanitarian law. The third part of the work focuses on criminal responsibility of children for international crimes. The major question in this field is whether we can prosecute children for those crimes at all. On the one...

Porovnání metod výuky matematiky se zaměřením na geometrii / Comparing methods of mathematics teaching with a focus on geometry

Stříbrná, Eliška January 2018 (has links)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to observe, characterize ale reflect two well-known methods of teaching mathematics - so-called classical method and method according to professor Hejný, on the example of two second grade class teachers of elementary school with a focus on geometry. In the theoretical part I list several research works concerning class room observation. I use these to set up methodology of my own research. Moreover, the methods are characterized according to the literature and the analysis of the textbooks. Also the outputs of the Framework Education Programme (in Czech "Rámcový vzdělávací program") are presented in this theoretical part. I use these outputs to evaluate whether the method leads students to what they should know. The practical part consists of observing lessons of two teachers, my own teaching experience in the given classes and final questionnaire for students. Data collected from these observations are analysed with the help of qualitative and quantitative methods. The representative of the so-called classical method put emphasis on repetition and system. He usually asks students questions that require a shorter response. Students do not enjoy the school and geometry that much, but the knowledge results are quite good. The representative of the method according...
