The thesis describes the perception of dying and death among Werich family members, who were clients of Home hospice Tabita. The study is accompanied by an interview with Mr. Werich that took care of his dying wife. The observation has been performed by myself as an employee of Home Hospice Tabita. Facts obtained from the interview are supported by expert literature and my own participant observation. The study demonstrates what the dying families have in common, but also shows the specifics of individual cases. Although the hospice is based on Christian principles, it may profesionally and efectively work with non-Christian family members as well.

Optimization is an important part of mathematics and is mostly used for practical applications. For specific types of objective functions, a lot of different methods exist. A method to use when the objective is unknown and/or expensive can be difficult to determine. One of the answers is bayesian optimization, which instead of direct optimization creates a probabilistic model and uses it to constructs easily optimizable auxiliary function. It is an iterative method that uses information from previous iterations to find new point in which the objective is evaluated and tries to find the optimum within a fewer iterations. This thesis introduces bayesian optimization, suma- rizes its different approaches in lower and higher dimensions and shows when to use it suitably. An important part of the thesis is my own optimization algorithm which is applied to different practical problems - e.g. parameter optimization in machine learning algorithm. 1

The present thesis describes the relation of the gross domestic product and the unemployment rate by educational attainment. The analysis of relation between time series refers to data for the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into four main chapters. The first chapter deals with the definition of the gross domestic product, the calculation method, the detection and the measurement. The following chapter is focused on the issue of unemployment. Both the chapters are supplemented by historical development of indicators in the Czech Republic. The last theoretical part presents the statistical methods used in the time series analysis. The fourth chapter provides the actual analysis of relations between the gross domestic product and the unemployment rate by educational attainment. The analysis is based on data for the period 1996--2014, which are quarterly seasonally unadjusted data.

The thesis deals with comparing the tax burden of nonprofit organizations according to their chosen legal form. Based on the regulations of the Czech Republic the first part of the thesis describes the characteristics of nonprofit organizations and explains the main differences in the tax base and tax burden on the taxpayer. The second part compares the tax liability for income tax and value added tax. Calculations in this thesis are based on the data of the nonprofit entity whose main activity is equestrian sport. The third part compares the impact of the tax burden in model situations. In conclusion it is recommended what legal form would be the the most suitable for particular taxpayer, taking into account the scale and kind of realized income.

The master thesis deals with optimization of business processes in a food company. For this purpose the attention is paid to the three areas, namely process analysis, implementation of activity based costing model and business process optimization. The theoretical part describes the linkage between process analysis and activity based costing and acts as theoretical framework for practical part of the thesis. Presented cost model is implemented in existing company and information provided by model is used for business process optimization.

General approach of international law to torture Abstract The prohibition of torture exists at national and international level. The author focuses only on the general approach of international law to torture. He analyzes the individual elements of the definitions of torture contained in international documents. At the same time, he does not forget to mention the cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment that is inextricably linked to torture. He also highlights the importance of the threat of torture, which may under certain conditions separately constitute torture. He provides an overview of the current international regulation of the prohibition of torture enshrined not only in international human rights treaties, but also in the field of international humanitarian law and international criminal law. He also emphasizes the reflection of international regulation in the practice of individual protection mechanisms ensuring effective control over compliance with the prohibition of torture, specifically universal, European, Inter-American, African and other functioning mechanisms. Also, he places torture in the context of crimes under international law. The diploma thesis is focused on the measurement of selected parameters of the digital TV receiver DVB T, set top box. In the introductory part the work briefly deals with the theory of compression and transmission of the digital TV signal. Main part of the thesis contains detail information about individual circuits of the selected set top box Humax F3-FOX T and the results of measurements of individual parameters obtained from the available measuring devices. The final part of the thesis deals with the design changes necessary for creation of the external output for the signals and also with the methodology of the measurement.

The thesis aims to achieve competitive business by handling marketing strategy. The proposed marketing strategy process based on evaluation of the current situation and opportunities for implementation.

Master´s thesis is considered with design of algorithms for new module of company information system. In the beginning of thesis there are characterized types of ways to describe an information systems. For specification of described system is briefly defined IBM Lotus Notes environment. Next chapter is about object-oriented analysis and design of a module of information system by using UML´s diagrams in modeling tool Enterprise Architect. In the third chapter is made analysis and design of module´s connection with current system, specificly update data in form. Thesis shows designed algorithms in environment of Lotus Domino Designer by using LotusScript and SQL languages and Lotus Domino Connector for access into the database by using ODBC. In last part of thesis is proposed to use a mapping tool to mapp the ITC infrastructure by using Change management process according to ITIL method, to manage all the changes in developing system effectively.

The thesis analyses heat loss caused by ventilation for various volumes of ventilated air. Number of model cases were analyzed (class room, fit center, auditorium in the cinema and an apartment). Every scenario was analyzed with the heat recuperation and without it. Annual energetic balance and influence of heat recuperation was evaluated for every model case thereafter. Simulations of ventilation energy consumption were carried out in the TRNSYS 16 program.
