Baumgarten quando usou pela primeira vez, em 1735, a palavra estetica, descreveu-a como a ciencia da beleza. Nos Cursos de Estetica, publicado em 1835, Hegel descreve a sua filosofia da arte, a ciencia do belo, e, mais especificamente, do belo artistico, uma vez que dela se exclui o be-lo natural. Mostra a relacao da poesia com as demais artes e explicita de modo preciso o lugar da poesia como arte. Ja no Zibaldone di Pensieri (1817-1832), Leopardi elabora o seu pensamento estetico atraves da criacao de um sistema de Belas-Artes, especulando sobre o belo, o sublime, o prazer, a simplicidade, o habito, a novidade, a imitacao, a feiura, a surpresa, o gosto, entre outros. Por is-so, o objetivo principal desta tese e verificar como as esteticas de Hegel e Leo-pardi dialogam, especialmente, as formulacoes sobre poesia. A analise permitiu constatar que existem convergencias entre as abordagens esteticas na poesia en-tre o filosofo alemao e o poeta italiano no que tange a distincao entre belo e na-tural, a imaginacao, ao genio, ao elogio aos antigos e a critica aos romanticos, ao gosto, a feiura e a simplicidade. Mas o ponto central de convergencia entre os dois estudiosos deve ser atribuido a imaginacao, uma vez que em Leopardi ela tambem esta relacionada com a sensibilidade e com a criacao artistica. Ja os elementos divergentes sao a nocao de beleza, a hierarquizacao da poesia quanto aos generos literarios, a imitacao e o sublime. Mas o conceito de beleza e a grande diferenca entre Hegel e Leopardi, uma vez que o primeiro se move no terreno do espirito e da historia e o segundo se move no terreno da natureza. Em Hegel, a reflexao esta ancorada nos estimulos sensiveis. Em Leopardi, por outro lado, no habito. / The word aesthetics comes from the Greek IO0NTKN or aisthesis and its mean-ing is tied to perception and also to the notion of what is sensitive or that which relates to sensitivity. When Baumgarten first used the word aesthetic in 1735, he described it as the science of beauty. In Courses in Aesthetics, pub-lished in 1835, Hegel describes his philosophy of art, the science of beauty, and more specifically, of artistic beauty, since it excludes natural beauty. He shows the relationship of poetry with other arts and explains precisely poet-ry#fs place as an art. In the Zibaldone di Pensieri (1817-1832), Leopardi de-velops his aesthetic ideas by creating a system of Fine Arts, speculating about the beautiful, the sublime, pleasure, simplicity and habit, novelty, imitation, the ugly, surprise, taste, among others. Therefore, the main objective of this thesis is to verify how the aesthetics of Hegel and Leopardi dialogue, espe-cially, the formulations about poetry. The analysis allowed noticing that there are similarities between the aesthetic approaches in poetry from the German philosopher and the Italian poet regarding the distinction between natural and beautiful, the imagination, the genius, the cheering of the old and the criticism of the Romantics, the taste, the ugliness, and simplicity. But the central point of convergence between the two scholars should be assigned to the imagina-tion, since in Leopardi it is also related to sensitivity and artistic creation. On the other hand, the divergent elements are the notion of beauty, poetry in the hierarchy of literary genres, the imitation and the sublime. Yet the concept of beauty is the main difference between Hegel and Leopardi, since the first moves on the grounds of spirit and history, and the second moves in the field of nature. In Hegel, the reflection is anchored in sensitive stimuli, in Leopardi on the other hand, in the habit.

Equivale a dizer: em sua lírica, reflexões e sentimentos se entretecem a partir de uma matéria pessoal e localizada. Da estação ferroviária à estação tubo; da Ucrânia ao centro de Curitiba; de Paisagem interior a Reika; do século XIX ao século XXI, a literatura de Helena Kolody gerencia sua presença na consolidação do binômio arte-vida. O retrato da autora acaba se constituindo também por meio de farto aparato iconográfico; pelos mais de quinhentos textos críticos elencados e por sua obra completa. Fragmentação deliberadamente assumida, a pessoa se revela em sua inteireza. / Helena Kolody, carbon & diamond - an illustrated biography tells the life of Helena Kolody, from her very insertion in literature, as it questions her identity, the world surrounding her, and the meaning of her existence. That is equivalent to saying that in her poetry there is the intermingling of reflections and feelings that derive from personal and localized material. From the railroad station to the tube-shaped bus stops; from Ukraine to downtown Curitiba; from Paisagem interior to Reika; from the nineteenth century to the twenty-first century, Helena Kolody's literature guarantees her presence in the consolidation of the art/life binomial. The portrait of the author ends up by also being made up of an abundant iconographic apparatus, of the over five hundred critical texts listed, and of her complete work. The person, although deliberately accepting her own fragmentation, reveals herself in her entireness.

Lendo as revistas Navilouca, Polem, Malasartes, Almanaque Biotônico Vitalidade, Bando e O Carioca, juntamente com os livros Posto 9, Uma história à margem e a vida é curta pra ser pequena, revelou-se uma moldura da poética de Chacal: a busca pela consagração, o diálogo com a tradição literária e a formação de sua Biblioteca, até então sempre negada pelo poeta e pela crítica. Com o estudo destes periódicos, que são de diferentes décadas, é possível ler grande parte da produção poética de Chacal a partir de seus diálogos com outros poetas e estéticas, traçando um percurso do não-lugar, mas que, ainda assim, estabelece sua Biblioteca. / The study of Chacal's poetics presented in this dissertation issue from the idea of reading it by periodicals in which the brazilian poet have collaborated and/or edited during his more than 40 years of career. Therefore, the literary magazines Navilouca, Polem, Malasartes, Almanaque Biotônico Vitalidade, Bando and O Carioca, herewith the books Posto 9, Uma história à margem and a vida é curta pra ser pequena, revealed a frame of Chacal's poetics: the search for acclaim, the contact with the literary tradition and the generation of his Library, before denied by the poet and the critic. Hence, the periodicals' study with these literary magazines, that are from different decades, allows the reading of most Chacal's poetics by his contacts with another poets and aesthetics, positioning himself in a "non-place", however, even so, establishes his own Library.

Lopes (1859-1916), através de um questionamento de certas atitudes da crítica literária, tanto a atual quanto a vigente na virada do século XIX para o XX. Em outras palavras, nosso propósito é refletir sobre o lugar dado ao poeta nos compêndios de história da literatura, desde os mais atuais até os contemporâneos de B. Lopes, para, assim, tentar entender o porquê da pouca visibilidade que é dada ao poeta e à sua obra. Para isso, foi necessário entender o papel da crítica que estava em voga, delineando o panorama intelectual e político daquele momento. A partir daí, buscou-se traçar um esboço da recepção da crítica sobre obra do poeta através de uma análise dos periódicos da época.<br> / Abstract : The present thesis aims at shedding some light on the work of the poet B. Lopes (1859-1916) by questioning the current attitudes and stances of Brazilian literary criticism in comparison to the ones upheld at the turn of the 19th to the 20th century. In other words, one's goal was to consider the place given to B. Lopes within the compendiums of literary history, from those contemporary to the poet s production to the current ones, as an attempt to understand the poor visibility given to him and his work. To accomplish this, it became necessary to understand the part played by the literary criticism in vogue at his time, sketching an intellectual and political outlook of that historical moment. Based on that, the critical reception held on the poet s work was outlined through a careful analysis of the periodical productions of that time.
