In this thesis I have created a draft marketing strategy for the Fashion category of an In-ternet company together with the analysis of internal and external internet trade. The the-sis includes also a marketing research focused on current customers and their buying be-havior. Specific proposals for changes of the user interface and web marketing mix stra-tegies with a focus on communication strategy of the company are also included. The result of this work are specific suggestions and recommendations which would help the company to achieve its strategic goals.

in English The aim of this thesis is to interpret and categorize the lesser known novel Thaddeus of Warsaw by the Scottish author Jane Porter. The novel is characterised by the use of several genre conventions - most importantly those commonly found in the conservative anti-jacobin novel or national tale, historical novel and novel of sensibility. Porter's novel is interpreted from all three perspectives and also compared to other relevant novels from roughly the same period: Self- Control by Mary Brunton, The Old English Baron by Clary Reeve and The Wild Irish Girl by Lady Morgan. The comparison aims at the contextualization of Thaddeus of Warsaw and the observation of similarities and differences in the approach to certain themes or motives. The most important motives is that of a trial that shows the character of the protagonist in action, continuity, universality and even a certain parabolic nature of history, an emphasis on virtue and the use of sentimental conventions to portray the emotions of characters. This analysis is preceded by an interpretation of two authorial prefaces. The new one (from 1831) claims that the work it comments on is a historical novel published even before Sir Walter Scott's Waverley, usually considered the first historical novel. The master thesis deals with the economic analysis of the company EYELEVEL s.r.o. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate economic situation of the company, to identify threats and opportunities that arise from its surrounding. On the basis of the conclusion strengths and weaknesses of the company are formulated with the recommendation in order to improve their current situation. The thesis is split into two parts, theoretical one and practical one. The theoretical part defines theoretical and methodological starting points. The principles and basic terms of the particular methods of financial analysis and the strategic analysis of the company´s surrounding were mentioned there as well. The company EYELEVEL s.r.o is for the first time introduced in the practical part. Then PEST analysis, PORTER analysis and financial analysis, the main concern of the thesis, are followed. All the results are summarize in the conclusion.

The aim of this thesis is (i) the introduction of the small company Gentech, s. r. o., which operates in building industry, (ii) the assessment of its current activities, (iii) the internal analysis of the firm, (iv) the analysis of the firm's industry and (v) the external macroenvironment (PEST) analysis. The internal analysis identified the firm's strengths and weaknesses and the external analysis revealed opportunities and threats. A profile of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats were generated by means of a SWOT analysis. An industry analysis was performed using a framework developer by M. E. Porter known as Porter's five forces. On the bases of the information from the environmental scan, they were outlined possibility options for the firm strategy which should be necessary for this small company to survive and prosper.

In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on terms related to the strategy of a company and on possibilities and methods used in the analysis itself. The main goal of the practical part of the thesis is to find, if the sales problems and interconnected decline in revenues in a company KSB, spol. s r. o, are caused by competitors and custormes, which is the opinion of its management. To solve the problem I used Porter's Five forces model, which includes other forces (supliers, new entrants and substitutes), that could also play a part in the aforementioned negative situation.
