Segmentace webových stránek s využitím shlukovacích technik / Web page segmentation utilizing clustering techniques

Zelený, Jan January 2017 (has links)

Bridging The Gap Between Telemetry and the PC

Nelson, Wade, Shurtleff, Diana 10 1900 (has links)
International Telemetering Conference Proceedings / October 17-20, 1988 / Riviera Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada / The explosive use and extensive development of software and hardware for the IBM PC and PC Clones over the past few years has positioned the PC as one of many viable alternatives to system designers configuring systems for both data acquisition and data analysis. Hardware abounds for capturing signals to be digitized and analyzed by software developed for the PC. Communication software has improved to where system developers can easily link instrumentation devices together to form integrated test environments for analyzing and displaying data. Telemetry systems, notable those developed for lab calibration and ground station environments, are one of many applications which can profit from the rapid development of data acquisition techniques for the PC. Recently developed for the ADS100A telemetry processor is a data acquisition module which allows the system to be linked into the PC world. The MUX-I/O module was designed to allow the PC access to telemetry data acquired through the ADS 100A, as well as provide a method by which data can be input into the telemetry environment from a host PC or equivalent RS-232 or GPIB interface. Signals captured and digitized by the ADS100A can be passed on to the PC for further processing and/or report generation. Providing interfaces of this form to the PC greatly enhances the functionality and scope of the abilities already provided by the ADS100A as one of the major front-end processors used in telemetry processing today. The MUX-I/O module helps "bridge the gap" between telemetry and the PC in an ever increasing demand for improving the quantity and quality of processing power required by today's telemetry environment. This paper focuses on two distinct topics, how to transfer data to and from the PC and what off-the-shelf software is available to provide communication links and analysis of incoming data. Major areas of discussion will include software protocols, pre vs post processing, static vs dynamic processing environments, and discussion of the major data analysis and acquisition packages available for the PC today, such as DaDisp and Lotus Measure, which aid the system designer in analyzing and displaying telemetry data. Novel applications of the telemetry to PC link will be discussed.

DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM FOR AIRCRAFT QUALIFICATION

Eccles, Lee, O’Brien, Michael, Anderson, William 10 1900 (has links)
International Telemetering Conference Proceedings / October 13-16, 1986 / Riviera Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada / The Boeing Commercial Airplane Company presently uses an Airborne Data Analysis and Monitor System (ADAMS) to support extensive qualification testing on new and modified commercial aircraft. The ADAMS system consists of subsystems controlled by independent processors which preprocess serial PCM data, perform application-specific processing, provide graphic display of data, and manage mass storage resources. Setup and control information is passed between processors using the Ethernet protocol on a fiber optic network. Tagged data is passed between processors using a data bus with networking characteristics. During qualification tests, data are dynamically selected, analyses performed, and results recorded. Decisions to proceed or repeat tests are made in real time on the aircraft. Instrumentation in present aircraft includes up to 3700 sensors, with projections for 5750 sensors in the next generation. Concurrently, data throughput rates are increasing, and data preprocessing requirements are becoming more complex. Fairchild Weston Systems, Inc., under contract to Boeing, has developed an Acquisition Interface Assembly (AIA) which accepts multiple streams of PCM data, controls recording and playback on analog tape, performs high speed data preprocessing, and distributes the data to the other ADAMS subsystems. The AIA processes one to three streams in any of the standard IRIG PCM formats using programmable bit, frame and subframe synchronizers. Data from ARINC buses with embedded measurement labels, bus ID’s, and time tags may also be processed by the AIA. Preprocessing is accomplished by two high-performance Distributed Processing Units (DPU) operating in either pipeline or parallel environments. The DPU’s perform concatenation functions, number system conversions, engineering unit conversions, and data tagging for distribution to the ADAMS system. Time information, from either a time code generator or tape playback, may be merged with data with a 0.1 msec resolution. Control and status functions are coordinated by an embedded processor, and are accessible to other ADAMS processors via both the Ethernet interface and a local operator’s terminal. Because the AIA assembly is used in aircraft, the entire functional capability has been packaged in a 14-inch high, rack-mountable chassis with EMI shielding. The unit has been designed for high temperature, high altitude, vibrating environments. The AIA will be a key element in aircraft qualification testing at Boeing well into the next generation of airframes, and specification, design, development, and implementation of the AIA has been carried out with the significance of that fact in mind.

Melhoria do tempo de resposta para execução de jogos em um sistema em Cloud Gaming com implementação de camadas e predição de movimento. / Improvement of the response time to execute games in a cloud games system with layers caching and movement prediction.

Sadaike, Marcelo Tetsuhiro 11 July 2017 (has links)
With the growing video games industry, new markets and technologies are emerging. The solution that is gaining more prominence is Cloud Gaming, which the player performs a command, the information is sent and processed remotely on a cloud, then the images return as a video stream back to the player using the Internet. To improve the Quality of Experience (QoE), it is proposed a model that reduces the response time between the player command and the stream of the resulting game scenes through a framework called Cloud Manager that use layer caching techniques, in the background, and future state prediction using a prediction matrix, in the character layer. To validate the results, a action game with god-view as point of view is used in a Cloud Gaming system called Uniquitous.

Ricardo Lima Feitosa Ãvila 23 August 2013 (has links)
This master thesis presents a study of techniques used as support for a correction of essay questions based in an adaptation of string-matching algorithms combined with text preprocessing techniques. The main challenge to design a tool like this is an ambiguity of natural language. To analyze a correction of subjective questions, tests were performed with these algorithms, and a tool have been developed for this purpose. Comparing student responses with response pattern of questions proposed in subjective tests, we analyzed the performance of individual algorithms and a set of pre-processing techniques that are found in the literature, in isolation and combined. Seeking to neutralize specific situations of false negative and false positive, some techniques have been proposed as auxiliary contribution of this work. After analyzing the experiments, the results of similarity index between responses indicate the use of the solution to support the correction of essay questions, and may also be applied in the detection of plagiarism and be integrated to a learning management system.

2d/3d Imaging Simulator

Bozkurt, Nesli 01 November 2008 (has links) (PDF)
3D modeling of real objects has an increasing importance in numerous areas. Although many methods and solutions are already proposed for 3D data acquisition, research continuing in this area is still intense. However, a crucial drawback about 3D data extraction algorithms is their testing and validation difficulty. Additionally, obtaining calibrated 2D and 3D imaging systems is troublesome due to their high effort demand for calibration and high cost. In this thesis, a 2D/3D Imaging Simulator is proposed in order to ease development and testing of 3D data interpretations of different methods and also to generate synthetic images for miscellaneous use. Furthermore, an example application on FRGC database is explained in detail.

Design and implementation of a content aware image processing module on FPGA

Mudassar, Burhan Ahmad 08 June 2015 (has links)
In this thesis, we tackle the problem of designing and implementing a wireless video sensor network for a surveillance application. The goal was to design a low power content aware system that is able to take an image from an image sensor, determine blocks in the image that contain important information and encode those block for transmission thus reducing the overall transmission effort. At the same time, the encoder and the preprocessor must not consume so much computation power that the utility of this system is lost. We have implemented such a system which uses a combination of Edge Detection and Frame Differencing to determine useful information within an image. A JPEG encoder then encodes the important blocks for transmission. An implementation on a FPGA is presented in this work. This work demonstrates that preprocessing gives us a 48.6 % reduction in power for a single frame while maintaining a delivery ratio of above 85 % for the given set of test frames.
