My dissertation work deals with the project method in civics lessons. The target of this work was to find a place of this method in teaching civics at primary school. The work is divided into two parts. In the first part I focused on the theoretical ground of the project method, its historical development and contemporary conceptions while I even tried to outline the position of civics at primary school. In the second part of the work I deal with possibilities how to organize curriculum of civics according to the project method. Proposals of own projects and own realization of one of the selected project are stated in this part.

The first part of the Diploma thesis contains a short overview of regional literature concerning Lysá as well as pedagogic literature suitable for project training. There is an overall characteristic of the Baroque era in the Czech lands with the focus on how it was expressed in art, religion and thinking of people back then and how it influenced the landscape formation. The emphasis is placed on the Baroque era of Lysá nad Labem. Its history is being described along with the history of the most influential family in the area the Sporcks. All of the baroque monuments in the town and its surroundings are described in order for the theoretical part to be complete and with respect to their possible application in the project training. The thesis is aimed at two different teaching methods, which are compared not only from the viewpoint of their positives and negatives, but also their effectiveness is valuated. One thematic unit from the history curriculum at lower-secondary school is chosen and two different methods are applied, one is based on lecture method, the other one involves project teaching. The effectiveness of the methods is ascertained on the basis of applying these methods in two teaching classes of elementary school. The common thematic unit is Industrial Revolution. According to the number of points every pupil achieves in the didactical test, the class with project teaching turned out better, however the difference was not so prominent. Important is that the effectiveness of both methods cannot be measured based only on number of obtained points. For this reason the author uses another evaluation of methods based on the Bloom's Taxonomy of educational objectives. By analysing the pupil's answers it was ascertained, that the pupils using the project teaching achieved (apart from factual knowledge) also the procedural and conceptual knowledge, which was found in their answer formulations. This thesis deals with regional history and possibilities of its didactic use in teaching of History at lower - secondary school. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the characterization of the project methods and regional history. There is also introduced the topic of Operation SILVER A in Pardubice and the evaluation of its importance in history of the region. The practical part of the thesis presents a design of the project with possibility of integration into the teaching of History at lower - secondary school. The school project to theme vaccination to second grade of primary school and secondary school This thesis deals with the theme vaccination, its history and principles. The process of immunization is typically made by the administration of vaccines, given in certain time intervals that are determined in accordance with the rules of law. Before vaccine administration, vaccine should be thoroughly checked to protect security of patient's health. Ongoing research and advanced development projects help fight against diseases to protect the human organism. One of the themes that plays role in the vaccination is the financing of research and development as well as financing immunizations itself. As vaccination is as important for adults as it is for children, providing all informations to students is very necessary. To reach this point succesfully, the teching project (described more specifically in this work) is one of the possible ways. The reason of connection can be mainly found in strengthening the internal motivation of pupils and in bringing themes coming from the world of children into education as well.

This essay focuses on a project funded by the EU, focusing on professional education of the staff. The project is implemented under the OP Prague - Adaptability, No.1 priority axis. The aim is to evaluate the work throughout the project, its benefits for both employees and the company itself. The work describes the whole project from the very idea of the implementation, through the selection of an appropriate subsidy program, writing the application, the supplier selection process, implementation and completion of the project, including its evaluation.

Diplomová práce pojednává o čerpání finančních prostředků ze strukturálních fondů Evropské unie do oblasti infrastruktury v České republice. Analyzuje Operační program Doprava, zřízený pro čerpání v programovém období 2007-2013 a rovněž postup čerpání v Operačním programu Infrastruktura pro období 2004-2006. V diplomové práci je využita případová studie konkétního projektu "Výstavba odbavovacího terminálu letiště Brno", což je příklad úspěšně dokočeného projektu OP Infrastruktura. Z příkladu jsou vyvozeny doporučení a závěry pro potenciální žadatele v oblasti infrastruktury.

This thesis introduces the three types of culture. The goal of this thesis is to determine the main dimensions of project culture and show how to improve organizational or project culture through a questionnaire survey. Last but not least, the next goal is to describe all the steps that follow after the evaluation of questionnaire. The first part discusses the sense of culture and the kinds of culture. The beginning is about the national culture. The following chapter deals with corporate culture and its main characteristics. In terms of the main goals of this thesis, the end of this part focuses on the list of methods of improving organizational culture and specifics of project culture, including its characteristics and dimensions. The second part concerns about the introduction of the company and project, where the survey took place, including identifying the main features of corporate culture and core values of that company. Next chapters deal with the structure and evaluation of the questionnaire and activities that follow after the evaluation.

The theme of the thesis is an analysis of processes 3 different projects that are implemented under the Cohesion Policy. Attention will be paid to the issue of project preparation, analysis of processes, which are essential components for the preparation of project applications, showing the most important methods and tools used in managing the process of design. The content of this thesis is the identification of possible critical moments, which can be an important factor influencing the success of the selection and implementation of individual projects. All the above components of the processes should be used to create applications for financial support from EU structural funds. A consistent process of preparing a project application is an condition for planned project to have a real chance to be selected from a number of other projects that are submitted within the announced calls. After a successful project assessment selected project receives financial support from European funds for its implementation.
