Záhřeb v chorvatské urbánní próze na přelomu 20. a 21. století / Zagreb in Croatian Urban Prose at the Turn of the 20th and 21st CenturyFabian, Jakub January 2015 (has links)
Resumé Diploma thesis Zagreb in Croatian urban prose at the turn of 20th and 21st century deals with roles and influence of the Croatian capital on main characters of selected works of mentioned authors. The turn of the century was chosen deliberately, due to the disintegration of Yugoslavia, subsequent war conflict in Balkan and postwar search for certainties. These factors led to migration of a huge amount of people, e.g. into the area of New Zagreb which is an important urban feature of Croatian metropolis and therefore of this thesis. This thesis will try to clarify through the main characters of selected works the turbulent events and uncertain life circumstances from the end of the previous century and from the beginning of the new one which meant for some people a change of their lifestyle and stabilized order.

L’art du dialogue dans l’œuvre romanesque de Julien Gracq / The art of the dialogue in the novels of Julien GracqDegani, Salah 30 November 2012 (has links)
In the literature of the twentieth century, in a general way, and in the fictions of Julien Gracq, in a particular way, the presence of the dialogue cannot limit itself in the objective to represent the reality. It follows that one of the objectives of our investigation means questioning the roles played by the written dialogue in the representation within the novels of Julien Gracq but, at the same time, the diverse functions played by the written dialogue within the same novel. These operations are made to see if there’s a change and, consequently, a specificity in the status of the dialogue relative of gender of text from which the dialogue is extracted. Our main concern consists, thus, in showing that the written dialogue plays a fundamental role in the construction of the narrative text. Moreover, we shall see that the analysis of this discursive space will allow enumerating some problems relative to the interpretation and to the meaning within Julien Gracq’s text.

Postava komunisty jako specifický typ významově zatížené postavy v současné české próze / Literary Characters of Communist Belief and/or Membership as Specific Character Types in Contemporary Czech Prose FictionKlímová, Kamila January 2013 (has links)
The diploma thesis analyzes the literary characters of Communist protagonists in the novels and short stories published in Czech literature of the last fifteen years. We assume that the time distance dynamically changes the concepts of the representations of the Communist protagonists. The aim of this work is not only to define the stereotypical traits that are associated with the figure of the Communists, but it also attempts to identify the practices of the lifting up of such protagonists from the traditional semiotic connotations. The thesis analyzes the characters of the Communists from the point of the thematic units, as they seem to be the most common semantic units for standard readers.

The Complexity of Human Nature in the Portraits of the Marginalized in Yuri Kazakov’s Village ProseDollar, Alena Victoria 01 January 2017 (has links)
One of the first Village Prose writers was Yuri Kazakov. In his short stories about life in remote Russian villages, Kazakov was able to combine traditions of Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky with traditions of Turgenev and Bunin and created a unique style using psychological parallelism in lyrical prose. Through the aspects of village, nature, time, and native language, Yuri Kazakov exposed the life of the marginals. He was interested in individuals and their personal feelings and thoughts. He did not look at individuals as a part of society but rather as a part of and the creation of nature. Therefore, he found his characters in the remote Siberian villages where the Soviet regime and propaganda minimally influenced people’s lives and their traditional values. His characters cannot be characterized as simply good or bad. Through his characters, Kazakov investigated and explored the complexity of human nature, emotions, and motifs. In his stories, he was able to masterfully unfold human souls and draw their psychological portraits to address timeless philosophical questions about the purpose of live, moral choices, unity of people and nature

Since ancient Greece, the music and literature concepts have always been linked. In fact, this relationship had started from the consequence of several aesthetic affinities that coordinate as much as one structure and one materializes the data to expose. In other words, literature has always served as a structure or support the twentieth century to say the language phenomena including mathematics, data processing and many other fields. Also, the musical aesthetics essentially containing the rhythmic codes including “figures de silence”, acoustic codes (music notes, musical instruments), the frequency of notes, especially their height and amplitude; under the musical form of the narrative structure that’s mean, semantic and discursive articulation of words and phrases that actually conceal codes music, reveals a kind of overflow of the literary text.....So, this work of correspondence between the semantic and discursive discontinuity text of the twentieh century (contaminated by the codes of music) and the creation of a musical game that will help us better understand the link between literature and music.... Our study supports on four works (books) : All the Mornings of the World Easter Quignar Ritournelle Hunger the JMG Le Clezio, The ruins of Paris Jacques Reda and Jazz bu Toni Morrison....
