<p>The purpose of this essay is to analyze Tolkien’s work The Hobbit since this has not been done to the same extent as the Lord of the Rings. The aim of this essay is see if the hobbit Bilbo is a hero and if so in what way. The questions I aim to answer in this essay are:</p><p>• Why does the main character leave his home?</p><p>• What creatures does the hero encounter on his journey and how does he defeat these?</p><p>• In what ways is Bilbo a hero?</p><p>• How does Tolkien narrate The Hobbit?</p><p>To answer these questions I have used Jung’s archetype theory which is useful when comparing different works and looking for similarities. I have partly used the approach of psychoanalysis as well, where knowledge of the author is important when interpreting the work.</p><p>The reason the main character, Bilbo, leaves his home is part curiosity and part that he is forced by others to go. On his journey he encounters many different creatures including trolls, goblins, the creature Gollum, spiders, wood-elves and the dragon Smaug. Bilbo uses his wits and bravery to survive the different creatures he meets. Bilbo is a hero in that, even though he may not have what is usually characteristic for a hero, he tries his best and many times acts first and thinks later to save his friends. Through the encounters in the world, the main character Bilbo develops into a hero. The author mostly uses the view of a third-person narrative, but sometimes intrudes and turns directly to the reader. The work shares narrative features with how oral narratives are told, and the narrator is omniscient. In his work, you can trace older stories and traditions which the author was very familiar with.</p>

В данной магистерской работе сравниваются романы Л.Толстого "Анна Каренина" и Г.Флобера "Госпожа Бовари" на уровне сюжетов и поэтики образов главных героинь. Tolstoy novel „ Anna Karenina“ and G. Flober „Madam. Bovary“. Also we comparing the psychological analysis in those novels.

Stefan Elbe (2005) in his writing about international security dimensions calls HIV/AIDS as a “global security threat” and emphasizes the importance of the disease acknowledgement by the scholars and international policy-makers. Indeed, HIV/AIDS is already for a long time not considered solely as a health problem, on the contrary, the medicalisation of the disease, remains one of the biggest obstacles to the global prevention and holistic treatment approaches. This research highlights those particular obstructions in the essence of cross-cultural peculiarities, bringing more vividness into idea of how HIV/AIDS related challenges are seen in different communities, despite of being a globally actual issue for more than three decades. It is almost an undeniable reality that HIV/AIDS pandemic unites millions and millions of people throughout the world each year, and no matter how bitter might the fact of comprehension be, it still continues to take lives away, therefore, investigations and researchers must be going on, for making the survival a better experience. This study provides case-studies of stigma and discriminatory challenges as a cultural systems (both internal and external) with its own symbols, rules, thinking models, approaches, norms, laws, values, beliefs, prejudices, taboos, goals, contexts, and political abutments through the exploration of cultural resources that specific societies adopt. Šis tyrimas pabrėžia problemos skirtingose kultūrose ypatumus, todėl dėmesys kreipiamas kaip su ŽIV/AIDS susijusios problemos vertinamos skirtingose bendruomenėse. todėl tyrimai ir tyrėjai turi būti vyksta, už išlikimo geresnį įspūdį. Šis tyrimas atskleidė diskriminacijos problemas, kurios atsiskleidė skirtingose kultūrose per tam tikrus simbolius, taisykles, mąstymo modelius, pagalbos metodus, įstatymus, vertybines nuostatas, tabu. Tyrimo duomenys analizuoti taikant psichologinį ir egzistencinį požiūrius. Bendras tyrimo dalyvių skaičius 13 (11 sergančių ŽIV ir 2 ekspertai). Duomenys rinkti Azerbaidžane, Lietuvoje ir Vokietijoje.

This diploma thesis is looking into investments to stocks portfolio by methods of psychologica analysis. Structure of the thesis is consisted of three parts. In the first part there are intruduced necessary theoretical prerequisities for understanding of stock market. Second and third part is focused on practical application and major stock market events from the past. Thesis thus describes and analyses the possibilities of psychological analysis usage while deciding about investments into selected portfolio of securities at capital markets.

This thesis deals with the possibilities of electronic stock trading of currency pairs. It analyzes the basic conditions and criteria which trader needs to meet to be able to participate on this market. This master’s thesis describes the use of technical indicators and fundamental messages through electronic trading platforms. Further thesis graphically compares the types of trading according to the time horizonts and then concludes suggestions and recommendations.

This master's thesis deals with stock market of the Czech Republic under financial crisis conditions. It is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part describes a stock price, most significant stock bubbles and fundamental, technical and psychological analysis. The practical part of this thesis is dedicated to an up-to-date stock valuation of three representative stock companies quoted on Prague Stock Exchange by using the fundamental analysis. The technical analysis is applied as an additional approach. The main target of this thesis is to verify whether the current Czech stock market can not be designated as a stock bubble any more in contrast to a situation before the financial crisis.

This work deals with stock market prediction via technical and psychological analysis. We introduce theoretical resources of technical and psychological analysis. We also introduce some methods of artificial intelligence, specially neural networks and genetic algorithms. We design a system for stock market prediction. We implement and test a part of system. In conclusion we discuss results.
