Paulo e Folha de S. Paulo, de São e Correio da Manhã e Jornal do Brasil, no Rio de Janeiro, entre 1941 e 1983. Com este estudo podemos notar que muito já se falou de Kafka e muitas foram as interpretações de seus textos: teológicas, biográficas, religiosas, temáticas (absurdo). Nos artigos encontrados, o maior número se encontra em São Paulo, principalmente pela mudança do centro cultural do Rio de Janeiro para São Paulo, quando o Rio de Janeiro deixa de ser capital do país. / Abstract: The reception of Franz Kafka in periodics of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo: 1941- 1983, aim at to study the reception of Franz Kafka in Brazil, having for base the articles published in the O Estado de S. Paulo and Folha de S. Paulo, of São Paulo and Correio da Manhã and Jornal do Brasil, in Rio de Janeiro, between 1941 and 1983. With this study we can notice that much already was said of Kafka and many had been the interpretations of its texts: theological, biographical, religious, thematic (nonsense). Inside of joined articles the biggest number if finds in São Paulo, mainly for the change of the cultural center of Rio de Janeiro for São Paulo, when Rio de Janeiro leaves of being capital of the country. / Doutor

Para alcançar esse objetivo, numa primeira etapa procedeu-se um amplo levantamento da produção científica sobre leitura. Desse material, foram selecionados vinte trabalhos com base em dois critérios: textos não publicados em formato de livro, portanto estudos ainda restritos ao ambiente acadêmico que precisam ser divulgados; e textos que analisassem a figura do leitor segundo a Estética da Recepção. Procedeu-se, então, uma descrição do material segundo uma grade de observação visualizando os seguintes itens: dados de identificação da obra; objetivos; material abordado; base teórica e bibliografia destacada na pesquisa; detalhamento da metodologia; conclusões principais apresentadas pelo pesquisador; e uma avaliação sobre os resultados efetivos de cada projeto. A seguir, realizou-se uma análise fundamentada nas categorias "efeito" e "recepção", tal como são concebidas pela Estética da Recepção. Como resultados, chegou-se a uma amostra significativa do estágio atual das pesquisas de leitura/recepção de textos, composta pelas principais tendências dessa teoria no Brasil. / Abstract: This work is the result of a research, which intends to describe and to analyze twenty dissertations and theories produced in the main Brazilian Universities, about the reading and the reception of texts. At first, it was preceded to a rising of the scientific production about reading in order to reach that aims at. From this material, twenty works were selected starting from two criteria: no published texts in book format and texts that analyzed the reader's illustration according to the Aesthetics of the Reception. It took place then, a description of the material starting from an observation grating, visualizing the following items: identification data of the work; objectives; approached material; theoretical base and research outstanding bibliography; the methodology details; main conclusions presented by the researcher and an evaluation about each project effective results. Soon afterwards, it took place an analysis based in the categories "effect" and "reception", just as they are conceived by the Aesthetics of the Reception. As results, it was arrived to a significant sample of the current apprenticeship of the texts reading and reception researches, composed by the main tendencies of that theory in Brazil. / Mestre

Orientador: Maximiliano Martin Vicente Martin Vicente / Banca: Danilo Rothberg / Banca: Laan Mendes de Barros / Resumo: Esta dissertação consiste no estudo da recepção de reportagens e notícias relacionadas à temática ambiental veiculadas pelos programas Balanço Geral, Tem Notícias, Jornal Nacional e Jornal da Band exibidas a integrantes do Programa de Horta Comunitária de Botucatu. Para tal, adotamos como referencial teórico os estudos de recepção latino-americanos, considerando prioritariamente os conceitos e ideias de Jesús Martín-Barbero e Guilhermo Orozzo Goméz, além de interpretação de textos desses pesquisadores realizadas por outros autores como Nilda Jacks e Ana Carolina Escosteguy. Quanto à metodologia, a pesquisa contemplou aplicação de questionários, método de pesquisa participante e utilização de grupo focal. Por meio dessa última técnica, identificamos as percepções e produções de sentidos estabelecidos pelos participantes em relação aos conteúdos a que assistiram, bem como compreensão e aplicabilidade dos assuntos no cotidiano deles e as mediações preponderantes no processo. Ainda procuramos investigar se o conhecimento básico sobre as etapas envolvidas em uma produção televisiva tem interferência na maneira como os trabalhadores das horas comunitárias recebem e interpretam as mensagens / Abstract: This dissertation is to study the reception of members at Botucatu's Communitarian Vegetable Garden Program in respect to the news articles about environment transmitted by the programs Balanço Geral, Tem Noticias, Jornal Nacional e Jornal da Band. For this, we adopted as referential theorethical studies of reception in Latin America, primarily considering the concepts and ideas of Jesus Martin-Barbero and Guilhermo Orozco Gómez, and interpretations of these texts carried out by other authors as Nilda Jacks and Ana Carolina Escosteguy. As methodology, the research included questionnaires, used the participant search method and the focal group. By this latter technique, we identify the perceptions and productions of meaning established by the participants in relation to the content they witnessed, as well as understanding and applicability of them in everyday affairs. Para alcançar seus objetivos, o trabalho prevê duas partes: uma análise e interpretação do texto, verificando a constituição literária da obra; depois, o estudo de sua recepção. A análise de Corda bamba limita-se aos recursos literários que mais se destacam na composição do livro. Em relação à recepção, privilegiou-se um estudo de caso, em que se analisou uma pesquisa realizada com duas turmas de oitava série de uma escola pública de Cornélio Procópio, Paraná, no ano de 2000, após a leitura de Corda bamba. Procurou-se, na análise das entrevistas, valorizar o leitor histórico, enfatizando sua prática de leitura. / Abstract: The purpose of this research is to analyse and interpret the book Corda bamba (1979), by Lygia Bojunga Nunes (1932, - ) and has the objective to observe the way it was received by young readers. In order to achieve such an aim, the work was developed into two parts: firstly the analysis and interpretation of the text itself, checking the characteristics of the literary composition and, afterwards, the study of its reception. The analysis of Corda bamba is primary focussed on the literary resources which are noteworthy in the composition of the book. As far as the reception is concerned, it was privileged a case study and it was made an analysis of a research of two groups of students from the eight grade of a public school, in Cornélio Procópio, Paraná state, during the whole year of 2000, after the reading of Corda bamba. All through the analysis of the interviews, it was attempted to give the due value on the historical readers as well as to emphasize their reading practices. / Mestre

Para tanto, o corpus utilizado constituiu-se de fontes primárias recolhidas nas bibliotecas e acervos das cidades de Assis, Marília, Campinas e São Paulo, bem como nos meios eletrônicos (Internet) - nos sites de buscas e outros relacionados ao banco de dados virtuais de acervos afins. Os textos consultados, referentes a Hesse e sua obra, abrangem o período de 1935 até 2005. Trata-se, portanto, de averiguar em que circunstâncias ocorreu o encontro entre a literatura hesseana e os leitores brasileiros, representados pelos jornalistas e pesquisadores acadêmicos, destacando as tendências e as contribuições mais relevantes da crítica em meio a história da leitura de Hesse no Brasil. Como eixo norteador da pesquisa foi elaborada uma lista bibliográfica comentada que permite uma visão circunstanciada de todos os textos localizados. A pesquisa também consta de transcrição dos textos publicados em jornais e revistas informativos de acesso restrito. Ao reunir a bibliografia sobre o escritor, procurou-se ampliar o conhecimento sobre a literatura hesseana e possibilitar o surgimento de novos estudos. / Abstract: This text is about collecting and thinking over Hermann Hesse's reception in Brazil seeking to verify the importance that's been given by the Brazilian critic to him, specially in the state of São Paulo. For this, the corpus used has been built from primary sources collected in the libraries and collection from the cities of Assis, Marilia, Campinas and São Paulo, as well as through electronic methods (internet) - in the sites of searching and others related to the virtual data of collections. The consulted texts, referring to Hesse and all his work, involve the period from 1935 to 2005. This is all about verifying then in which circumstances occurred this encounter between the Hesse's literature and the Brazilian readers, represented by the journalists and academic researchers emphasizing the tendencies and the most important contributions of the critic concerning the story of Hesse's reading in Brazil. As guiding axis of this research a bibliographic list with comments has been made allowing a circumstanced view concerning all the texts found. The research also contains transcription of the texts published in newspapers and magazines which have its access restricted. When reunited the bibliography about the writer, the knowledge concerning Hesse's literature has been increased making possible the appearance of new studies. / Mestre

Para isso, será feito uma análise e pesquisa da viagem internacional através dos continentes de The Beggar's Opera, de John Gay (1728), uma moderna saga de anti-heróis, que ultrapassou a barreira da temporalidade e dos idiomas, e que reflete um processo de odisséia satírica, iniciado na Londres georgiana do início do século XVIII, com chegada triunfal até o século XX, com "recepções produtivas": Die Dreigroschenoper [A Ópera de Três Vinténs], de Bertolt Brecht (1928), na Berlim weimariana da década de 20; A Ronda dos Malandros, de Carla Civelli e Maurício Barroso, na São Paulo e seu mecenato industrial na passagem dos anos 40 aos 50; e Ópera do Malandro, de Chico Buarque (1978), no Rio de Janeiro militar dos anos 70, obras com nuances de nacionalismo, cosmopolitismo e universalismo, apoiadas nas idéias da incompreensível exploração humana do ciclo predatório (homo homini lupus) e da desumanizada exploração capitalista. / Abstract: This dissertation was carried out to investigate the history of bookishness of the common reader, the author-reader, and the adapter-reader troughtout centuries, and to present a possibility of international esthetic and historical dialog by analyzing the nature of dramaturgy and its relationship to other arts - opera, music and dance - and to aspects of stanging and to aspects to stanging and theater carpentry, reflections based on the theory of "esthetic reception" according to Thomas Bleicher, Hannelore Link, Alois Wierlacher, Dietrich Krusche e Reinold Werner. With that purpose in mind, one will carry out an analysis and research of the international travel around the continents of The Beggar's Opera, by John Gay (1728) a modren saga of antagonists, which outreached the limits of temporality and foreign languages, and which reflects a process of satiric odyssey, started in Georgian London at the beginning of the 18 th century, triumphally reaching the 20 th century, with "productive receptions": Die Dreigroschenoper [A Ópera de Três Vinténs], by Bertold Brecht (1928), in Weimar Berlin in the 1920 s, A Ronda dos Malandros, by Carla Civelli and Maurício Barroso, in São Paulo and its industrial patronage along the 1940s and 1950s, and Ópera do Malandro, by Chico Buarque (1978), in Rio de Janeiro military uproar along the 1970s, works with hues of nationalism, cosmopolitanism and universalism, supported by ideas of the incomprehensible human exploitation of the predatory cycle (homo homini lupus) and the ruthless capitalistic exploitation. / Doutor

Mostra-se como são produzidas as reportagens e como são construídas as representações dos acusados feitas no programa. Apresenta-se um auto-retrato do apresentador Carlos Camargo e suas idéias sobre o seu papel e também do seu programa. Mostra-se como é a recepção do programa feita por uma família moradora da periferia de Londrina. Para análise da produção do programa utilizou-se a análise de conteúdo. Para compreender a recepção optou-se pelo modelo multimetodológico desenvolvido pelas pesquisadoras Maria Immacolata Vassallo de Lopes, Silvia Helena Borelli e Vera da Rocha Resende / Abstract: The study of the production and reception of the police TV program called Tempo Quente (Hot Time), which is exhibited at TV Taroba de Londrina, an affiliated of Band Network. It shows how the reports are produced and how the representations of the accused are made in the program. It presents a self-made portrait of the anchorman Carlos Camargo and his ideas about his influence and also about his program. It shows how a family, living in the outskirts of Londrina, receives the program. To analyse the production of the program it was used an analysis of its content. Orientador: Benedito Antunes / Banca: Maria de Lourdes Ortiz Gandini Baldan / Banca: Sandra Aparecida Ferreira / Resumo: Este trabalho tem por objetivo verificar a aplicabilidade dos princípios da teoria do efeito de Wolfgang Iser em textos literários com diferentes estruturas composicionais apresentados a diferentes leitores. Como corpus do trabalho utilizamos o texto bíblico "Coríntios", a canção "Monte Castelo", de Renato Russo, o soneto "Amor é fogo que arde sem se ver", de Camões, e o poema concreto "Ferida", de Augusto de Campos. Além das diferentes estruturas, consideramos a temática do amor e as relações de intertextualidade presentes nos textos. Ao entrevistarmos um grupo de trinta homens e trinta mulheres, procuramos observar o efeito estético na recepção dos textos. Verificamos que houve uma grande preferência pelo texto bíblico e um maior estranhamento em relação ao poema concreto, o que nos fez redefinir o corpus da pesquisa. Utilizamos, desta forma, o poema concreto para analisar os elementos que causaram seu estranhamento pelos leitores. Considerando o texto literário um conector entre o sujeito e a realidade, nosso intuito foi verificar em que medida a percepção dos elementos estéticos aproximou o leitor da função comunicativa do texto ficcional ou nos mostrou o quanto uma leitura escolarizada pode significar uma prática social que, mais do que formar, deforma, transformando leitores reais em simples ledores de textos literários / Abstract: The aim of this study is to understand the theory of aesthetic response and check its application to literary texts read by different readers. The corpus consists of four texts with different structures: text 1 - THE biblical text "Coríntios", text 2 - The lyrics of "Monte Castelo", by Renato Russo, text 3 - the concrete poem "Ferida", by Augusto de Campos and text 4 - the sonnet "Amor é fogo que arde sem se ver", by Camões. The selection of texts took into account not only the different text structures but also the love theme and the intertextuality among the texts. We interviewed thirty men and thirty women to check the aesthetic response in the readers' receptions of the texts. The biblical text was the favorite one and the concrete poem was not so appreciated by the readers. These data led us to modify the corpus. So, we focused on the concrete poem in order to analyse elements that triggered the different response from the readers. Considering the communicative role of literary texts, which approach man and reality, we wanted to understand how relevant the esthetic elements are to the communicative role of literary texts as well as to check the relationship between basal reading and social formation, which can form, deform and transform real readers into innocent readers of literary texts / Mestre

Toda leitura interage com a cultura de um meio e de uma época; portanto, o sentido no contexto de cada leitura é valorizado perante os outros objetos do mundo, com os quais o leitor tem uma relação. Teorias sobre a recepção do texto e sobre o leitor, de H. Jauss e W. Iser, além de critérios para uma eficaz análise da imagem, definidos por M. Jolie, portam-se como as principais bases para a fundamentação teórica dessa pesquisa. A presente dissertação destaca, como objeto de estudo, uma composição musical de Renato Russo, "Canção do Senhor da Guerra", e catorze imagens retiradas da mídia impressa, especificamente a Revista Veja. Lança, como flecha a incitar dúvidas, uma isotopia entre ambos os discursos, o sema guerra, levantando a questão: pode o verbal, expresso pela composição musical, ser atualizado pelo não-verbal? Esse questionamento firma-se como objetivo maior da pesquisa, sobre o qual são tecidas conjecturas e inferências, as quais, embora científicas, não têm o objetivo de postular, mas de oferecer alguns parâmetros de leitura sincrética, valendo-se da ligação imanente entre texto e contexto. Ao serem levantados pontos de ancoragem entre ambos os discursos, aponta-se a pluralidade textual, alcançada pela crítica leitura de diferentes linguagens. De acordo com essas considerações, pontua-se que, estando na era da imagem, é necessário promover uma competência crítica nos leitores das mesmas, além da capacidade interlocutiva, onde o leitor crítico fará, sozinho, a intertextualidade entre diferentes estruturas textuais, alicerçado em bases científicas; porém, ousa-se afirmar que, qualquer que seja a linguagem a ser apreendida, só será significativa quando o receptor da mesma realizar a construção do sentido. / Abstract: Different languages presents in the current world are done, making necessary the reflection about their possible readings. All reading interacts with the culture of a way and of a time. Therefore, the sense in the context of each reading is valorized by the other world objects, with the ones the reader has a relation. Theories about the text reception and about the reader, of H. Jauss and W. Iser, including criteria for an image effective analysis, defined by M. Jolie, behave as the main bases for theoretical support of this research. This dissertation highlights, like study object, a Renato Russo's musical composition, "Canção do Senhor da Guerra", and fourteen images taken off the printed media, specifically from the Veja magazine. Presents, like an arrow to produce doubts, an isotopic between both the speeches, the word war, lifting the matter: can the verbal, expressed by the musical composition, be update by the not-verbal? That question is the greatest goal of this research and about it we can make premises and inferences, which ones, although scientific, do not have to goal of postulating, but of offer some syncretism reading parameters, being worth itself of the immanent connection between text and context. When being lifted anchorage points between both the speeches, points the textual plurality, reached by the different languages critical reading. According to these considerations, punctuates that, being in the images age, it is necessary to promote a critical competence in the readers of the same, besides the specific capacity, where the critical reader will do, alone, the intertextual between different textual structures, supported by scientific bases; however, whatever the language to be learned, only will be significant when the reciver of the same make the sense. / Mestre

Orientador: Murilo César Soares / Banca: Magali do Nascimento Cunha / Banca: Maximiliano Martin Vicente / Resumo: Às vésperas de completar 100 anos em 2010, o pentecostalismo no Brasil se mostra como um fenômeno complexo, multifacetado, desafiando comunicadores, empresários da mídia, sociólogos, pastores, crentes, ateus e também pesquisadores da comunicação social, já que na contemporaneidade as experiências religiosas são impulsionadas pela adoção da cultura mediática. Essas experiências fermentam em programas como o Show da Fé comandado pelo líder da Igreja Internacional da Graça de Deus (IIGD), R. R. Soares, instituição religiosa objeto deste estudo. Visto acreditar que fenômenos sociais não são uniformes e tampouco que os produtos religiosos sejam livres de contradições, a pesquisa busca compreender a visibilidade mediática religiosa no tecido das relações sociais dos adeptos que assistem o Show da Fé. Ou seja, a pesquisa analisa a comunicação religiosa sob um outro ângulo, distinto da visão linear da transmisssão da mensagem, entendendo aquela comunicação como processo mediado pelas práticas sociais e culturais que se constroem no cotidiano, onde a constituição da subjetividade é resultado das maneiras pelas quais os sujeitos interagem entre si perante a mensagem. Assim, a pesquisa - um estudo de recepção na linha das mediações socioculturais - permitiu, entre outros aspectos, observar nos usos e hábitos de consumo televisivo a dialética denomiada por Martín-Barbero consumo objetivação de desejos/lugar de diferenciação social e processo ritual, evidenciando que o grupo de pertença exerce influência para a ressignificação do desejo do adepto. Foi possível identificar que a chave do gênero do programa Show da Fè é o poder de acionar ou despertar no imaginário dos adeptos um outro mundo, cujo senso de ordem interna, integração e direção faz com que o homem se sinta mais forte para suportar as dificuldades da existência. / Abstract: On the verge of completing 100 years in 2010, Pentecostalism in Brazil turns out to be a complex, multifaceted, phenomenon, which challenges communication, media entrepreneurs, sociologists, preachers, believers, atheists and social communication reserachers, once nowadays new religious experiences are moved by the adoption of the mediatic culture. There are now widely shown experiences on broadcasts such as "Show da Fé" (The show of faith) hosted by R. R. Soares, the leader of "Igreja Internacional da Graça de Deus" (International Church of the Grace of God), which is the religious institution being this study's main topic. Having in mind the belief that social phenomenons are not uniform and also being aware that it is not possible to believe that the religious products are free from contradiction, the research opted to look for understanding the religious mediatic visibility through the thread of social relationships of those who adopt "The show of faith". It means the research analyses the religious communication form a different angle, distinct from the linear view of message transmission, understanding that sort of communication as the process mediated by cultural and social practices which are built everyday, where the constitution of subjectivity is a way of analyzing the ways through which the individuals interact with the message. Thus, the research- a study on reception following the research line of the socio-cultural meditiation - allowed, among other aspects, to notice in the uses and habits of television consumerism the dialect named by Martin-Barbero as wish/place of social differentiation and ritual process objectification consumerism, evidencing that the group of belonging exerts influence for the re-seignification of the follower's wish.
