Využití elektrodových materiálů na bázi rtuti ke studiu elektrochemické redukce vybraných žlučových kyselin / The use of mercury-based electrode materials for the study of electrochemical reduction of selected bile acids

Hulová, Dagmar January 2015 (has links)
The electrochemic's behaviour of the bile acids (cholic, glycocholic, deoxycholic, ursodeoxycholic and lithocholic acid) was studied on the meniscus-modified silver solid amalgam electrode (m-AgSAE) by differential pulse voltammery. Bile acids provide in the solution of the Britton - Robinson buffer and methanol (9:1) in the pH range 3.0 to 12.0 a cathodal signal in the high negative potentials: cholic acid, deoxycholic acid, ursodeoxycholic acid and lithocholic acid about −1400 mV and glycocholic acid, which alone is the conjugate with glycine, about −1500 mV. Cholic acid, glycocholic acid, deoxycholic acid and ursodeoxycholic acid provide the highest peaks to pH 5.0, approximately in their pKa values. Lithocholic acid provides peaks from pH 7.0. It was demonstrated by the cyclic voltammetry that the electrochemical behavior is influenced by the adsorption of the bile acids to the electrode; presumed reaction at the working electrode - a reduction of a proton of a carboxylic group, is controlled by the diffusion and the process is quasireversible. Utilization of the electrochemical reduction of bile acids for the voltammetric determination does not seem very suitable. It has been proven that the presence of the methanol deteriorates the measuring results for glycocholic acid. In the presence of...

NP vyhledávací problémy a redukce mezi nimi / NP vyhledávací problémy a redukce mezi nimi

Ševčíková, Renáta January 2012 (has links)
NP search problems and reductions among them Renáta Ševčíková In the thesis we study the class of Total NP search problems. More attention is devoted to study the subclasses of Total NP search problems and reductions among them. We combine some known methods: the search trees and their relation to re- ductions, the Nullstellensatz refutation and the degree lower bound based on design to show that two classes of relativized NP search problems based on Mod-p counting principle and Mod-q counting principle, where p and q are different primes, are not reducible to each other. This thesis is finished by a new separation result for p = 2 and q = 3.

Optimalizace regálového vystavení zboží v supermarketech / Optimization of the shelf display in supermarkets

Popelková, Magdaléna January 2010 (has links)
Category management is a process of managing product categories sold by particular retailer (examples of product categories such as: detergents, yoghurts, baby food) and a very important part of this process is the shelf display optimization. The objective of this project is to analyze the range of products sold by the retailer and to propose the optimal number of product facings on the shelf to minimize losses due to stock outs (goods being out of stock). Series of optimization problems were proposed for this objective to solve the optimal range of assortment, the optimal shelf space organization and the optimal stock of individual items on the shelf. Optimization problems were designed to be reused in practice, applying on the assortment of any retailer

Použití programování s omezujícími podmínkami při řešení diskrétních úloh / Constraint Programming as Means for Solving Discrete Problems

Janečková, Jitka January 2010 (has links)
Application of constraint programming (CP) is one of the possible ways of solving discrete problems. It can be used for both search for feasible solution and optimization. CP offers a whole range of approaches for either a solution search or for acceleration of the process of its search -- from search algorithms or consistency techniques to propagation algorithms, which are basically only a combination of the two preceding methods. For optimization we most often use branch and bound approach, which differs in some aspects from a method of the same name used in mathematical programming (MP). Comparison of CP and MP is interesting in many other aspects. With CP the formulation of problems is more flexible, which allows for creation of often simpler and smaller models. On the other hand, its disadvantage is a limited use: Constraint satisfaction (optimisation) problem, as we call the constraint programming problem, cannot contain any discrete variables. CP is suitable especially for problems with a lot of constraints and only few variables, ideally only two. In the beginning, the paper introduces the basic terms of constraint programming, then it describes algorithms and techniques used for solving discrete problems and compares CP with mathematical programming.

Náhodné kótované množiny a redukce dimenze / Random marked sets and dimension reduction

Šedivý, Ondřej January 2014 (has links)
Random closed sets and random marked closed sets present an important general concept for the description of random objects appearing in a topological space, particularly in the Euclidean space. This thesis deals with two major tasks. At first, it is the dimension reduction problem where dependence of a random closed set on underlying spatial variables is studied. Solving this problem allows to find the most significant regressors or, possibly, to identify the redundant ones. This work achieves both theoretical results, based on extending the inverse regression techniques from classical to spatial statistics, and numerical justification of the methods via simulation studies. The second topic is estimation of characteristics of random marked closed sets which is primarily motivated by an application in the microstructural research. Random marked closed sets present a mathematical model for the description of ultrafine-grained microstructures of metals. Methods for statistical estimation of their selected characteristics are developed in the thesis. Correct quantitative characterization of microstructure of metals allows to better understand their macroscopic properties.

Matematické modelování tenkých filmů z martenzitických materiálů / Mathematical modelling of thin films of martensitic materials

Pathó, Gabriel January 2015 (has links)
The aim of the thesis is the mathematical and computer modelling of thin films of martensitic materials. We derive a thermodynamic thin-film model on the meso-scale that is capable of capturing the evolutionary process of the shape-memory effect through a two-step procedure. First, we apply dimension reduction techniques in a microscopic bulk model, then enlarge gauge by neglecting microscopic interfacial effects. Computer modelling of thin films is conducted for the static case that accounts for a modified Hadamard jump condition which allows for austenite--martensite interfaces that do not exist in the bulk. Further, we characterize $L^p$-Young measures generated by invertible matrices, that have possibly positive determinant as well. The gradient case is covered for mappings the gradients and inverted gradients of which belong to $L^\infty$, a non-trivial problem is the manipulation with boundary conditions on generating sequences, as standard cut-off methods are inapplicable due to the determinant constraint. Lastly, we present new results concerning weak lower semicontinuity of integral functionals along (asymptotically) $\mathcal{A}$-free sequences that are possibly negative and non-coercive. Možnosti využití popílků po SNCR pro výrobu portlandského cementu / Possibilities of utilization of fly ash from SNCR technology in the production of Portland cement

Kozlová, Romana January 2016 (has links)
The Master thesis deals with utilization possibilities of fly ash after selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) process for Portland cement preparation as a correction component to the raw material with regard to contaminated fly ash by ammonium sulphate or ammonium hydrogensulfate that is one of the products from SNCR process. Presented thesis was focused on behaviour of raw meal with ammonia hydrogensulfate contaminated fly ash after SNCR during burning of Portland clinker in simulated kiln conditions. The thesis deals with Portland clinker preparation from this kind of raw mix and it studies mainly clinker quality, clinker phases and structure. Quantitative phase composition of prepared samples of clinker was performed by optical microscopy measurements using point counting method and XRD analysis (Rietveld method). Hydration heat flow of prepared clinker was measured by Isothermal Calorimetry. TG-DTA analysis of prepared raw meal was studied due to better comparison of prepared samples and better understanding of processes during burning process.

Ovlivňuje přítomnost predátora aktivitu pulců? Srovnání reakce dvou druhů s odlišnou zkušeností s predátorem / Is there any influence in the presence of a predator on a tadpoles activity? A comparison of a reaction of two species with different predator experience

RUS, Tomáš January 2008 (has links)
Responses of tadpoles Bombina variegata (likely unexperienced with predator) to pulses of risk and safety were tested and compared with results of a bachelor thesis previously done on tadpoles Bufo bufo (species likely experienced with predator) to confirm the risk allocation hypothesis. Differences of overall activity of both species were not significant. Differences in activity between Bufo bufo and Bombina variegata tadpoles held in continual risk conditions were observed. Such behavior possibilities are discussed.
