1	Pohled studentů PF JU na alternativní přístupy ve vzdělávání a na případné využití těchto metod ve vlastní praxi / A perspective of students from Faculty of Education of University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice on alternative attitudes in education and on potential application of these methods in their practise MIESBAUEROVÁ, Lucie January 2017 (has links) The thesis is focused on a subjective perspective of students from Faculty of Education of University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice on attitudes in education and on potential application of these methods in their practise. In this thesis is covered general exploration which characterizes particular types of alternative schools and alternative approaches in the process of education. Data were gained from questionnaire and with usage of didactical test. On research were participated 139 students from Faculty od Education of University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. In the result part are covered finding outs which refer to fact that most of students would use alternative attitudes during their practise even if only small part of them have ever visited any of alternative schools. The higher percentage of respondents answered that they have only limited information about alternative education which was verified by didactical test. The average access from the test was 50%.
2	Blogging in Defense of Themselves: Social Media Implications for Rhetorical Criticism and the Genre of Apologia Wheeler, Ramona Dee 19 March 2013 (has links) (PDF) The advent of social media has provided an arena where barriers to entry are low. Individuals may persuade, question others and defend both their philosophies and their actions. This study examines the classic role of rhetorical criticism as it may apply in new media venues. A blog written by a public figure was examined through a synthesis of rhetorical criticism analyses derived from Ware and Linkugel, Vartabedian, and Downey. Four strategies and associated positioning in the practice of apologia were identified in selected blog posts, indicating the genre of apologia applies to social media apologies and extends the genre of apologia. 4	Jan Uher (1891-1942) / Jan Uher (1891-1942) Zemková, Jana January 2013 (has links) I write about the life story of Jan Uher (1891-1942), his pedagogic influence and his pedagogic heritage in my thesis. In the biographic part I describe the background of Jan Uher's childhood, the era of his secondary and University studies, the beginning of his career as a teacher and his activities in different social organizations (e.g. Sokol, YMCA,...). I also mention his travels abroad and other employments at Universities of Prague, Brno and Bratislava. And I can't leave out his engagement in fighting against the Nazism. In the second part of my thesis I focus on Jan Uher's pedagogic heritage. I describe the situation of the Czechoslovakian education in the years of "the first republic" and the reformative efforts of its educators' generation, especially Jan Uher's concepts. I also supply the list of his work published up to 1942 and introduce his pieces: The problems of discipline, The principles of American education, Secondary student and his world and The philosophy of national education.
5	The Role of Taxation in Nigeria's Oil and Gas Sector Reforms - Learning from the Canadian Experience 2015 November 1900 (has links) Several stakeholders in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry have emphasized the need for petroleum sector reforms in Nigeria. Canada is reputed to have one of the best oil and gas tax regimes in the world. This thesis argues that certain tax measures in Canada’s oil and gas industry have considerable potential for addressing certain industry inefficiencies in Nigeria’s petroleum sector. In developing this argument, this thesis gives an overview of oil and gas taxation in both jurisdictions and examines the possibility of transferring laws between Nigeria and Canada by exploring legal and tax comparative law theories. The thesis also examines the major challenges in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry and identifies viable areas in Canada’s oil and gas tax system which have the potential to address these challenges. Given the peculiarities of oil and gas taxation in each jurisdiction, this thesis suggests that the selected Canadian fiscal and administrative measures may require certain modifications in order to make these measures more suitable for Nigeria’s legal and tax system. (Barend Jacobus), 1946- 17 May 2005 (has links) This dissertation presents a contribution to measure the church order and ecclesiastical law in the Nederduitsch Hervormde Church of Africa against the Presbyterial-synodal understanding of church government. The latter forms the canonical outline of Biblical Reformative Theology as an indication of the theology currently practiced in the Nederduitsch Hervormde Church of Africa. At the outset a historical overview is given on the origin and development of the Presbyterial-synodal church government that was mainly shaped by Calvin in Geneva and later elaborated upon in Paris, and then further developed in the Netherlands. Reference is also made to the Algemeen Reglement of 1816, the 1951 church order of the Nederlandse Hervormde Church, as well as the 1951 church order of the Nederduitsch Hervormde Church of Africa. A description is given of what is understood by Biblical Reformative Theology as a revelation theology, which objectively assesses man as a sinner redeemed by grace through Jesus Christ. In this regard the church is willed by God and exists in eschatological expectation when Jesus will be everything in everyone. An exposition of Presbyterial-synodal church government calls attention to the church's existence from the beginning of time, founded by God, and it is therefore of a covenantal nature. Offices are seen as gifts from God to mankind to bring those who had been saved by Jesus Christ to faith in Him. Office bearers gather together in an assembly of offices to govern the church according to the Word of God. The church is a confessing church who confesses its faith with the church of all ages, as summarized in the ecumenical creeds and the three formularies of unity. Reference is also made here to the sacraments, ceremonies, church festivals and days of remembrance. The chapter concludes with a reference to church discipline as well as the relationship between church and state.
