Hojící se rána jako model pro studium buněčných interakcí. / Healing wound as a model for the study of cell interactions

Gál, Peter January 2015 (has links)
Healing wound as a model for the study of cell interactions Abstract Galectins play an important role in the processes of cell proliferation, differentiation, migration and extracellular matrix formation. Furthermore, galectins are able to transfer cellular signals and to participate in cell interaction. It has been proven that galectins play an important role in the microenvironment formation of a tumor and/or healing wound. This study demonstrated significant role of galectins, in particular Galectin-1, in wound healing and cell interactions (endothelial cells, fibroblasts and keratinocytes) forming a part of the granulation tissue and tumor stroma. We have demonstrated that the extracellular matrix rich on Galectin-1 creates a suitable environment for the cultivation of keratinocytes. Galectin-1 also induces differentiation of fibroblasts into myofibroblasts. The knowledge of above mentioned processes is important to better understand the complexity of cancer biology and its parallel to wound healing. Key words: tissue repair, regeneration, galectin, tumor

Vliv mladého ječmene a chlorelly pyrenoidosy na regeneraci u sportovců z oblasti kulturistiky a fitness / Influence of Young Barley and Chlorella Pyrenoidosa on Regeneration in Bodybuilding and Fitness Athletes

Kalenská, Kristýna January 2020 (has links)
Title: Influence of Young Barley and Chlorella Pyrenoidosa on Regeneration in Bodybuilding and Fitness Athletes Target: The aim of this work is to determine whether the use of Chlorella Pyrenoidosa (CHP) and Young Barley (MJ) products have an effect on muscle regeneration in strength athletes in the fields of bodybuilding and fitness, specifically addressing the level of the creatine kinase (CK) enzyme after strength training. Additionally, it is to find out whether the use of CHP and JM affects the quality of life of athletes. Methods: This diploma thesis is a qualitative correlation study. The theoretical part of the work was processed on the basis of information from books and electronic sources in Czech and English. For the practical part, 5 probands from the bodybuilding and fitness sports sector were purposefully selected. The group underwent blood sampling analyzed with a BECKMAN COULTRE DxC 700 analyzer for CK levels. Data on the impact of Green Food on quality of life were obtained using a record sheet entitled: "Daily Subjective Records". Statistical analysis of the Daily Subjective Record data was performed by paired t-test at the significance level of α ≤ 0.05 and subsequently graphed. Results: We found an overall linear reduction in serum CK levels in 3/5 of the probands. The 24 hour...

Konflikt ve vnímání hodnot architektonického dědictví a důsledky pro regeneraci městského prostředí: příklad města Ostrova / Conflict in the perception of architectural heritage qualities and consequences for urban regeneration: The case of Ostrov

Jílková, Martina January 2014 (has links)
Over the last few decades Czech cities have experienced significant improvements of physical environment, and urban regeneration is one of the processes contributing to these changes. The final appearance of renewed environment is the result of negotiations and conflicts among key actors involved in the regeneration process. The decision- making process of urban regeneration is influenced by many factors including the perception of the qualities of the buildings and of the place. The regeneration process can also change the place and its meanings. The aim of this diploma thesis is to characterize the role of perception in decision-making process of urban regeneration in the case of two parts of the city of Ostrov built in different architectural styles. First, the theoretical knowledge related to perception of the architectural heritage and its regeneration is discussed, with emphasis on the concept of place as a pervading approach. As the main research findings, the differences in the perception of given buildings were identified among the city residents and among the actors as well. It was also proven that the perception of given buildings affects the approach of the actors to regeneration to some extent, although in many cases the other factors predominate.

Titule: The attitude of track and field athletes to the recovery in the sport Student: Bc. Kristina Volfová Supervisor: PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, Ph.D. Aims: determining the attitudes of athletes to proper lifestyle and recovery in the sport and comparison of recovery methods in terms of their use. Another objective was the possibility of comparing the obtained results by gender and regional representation by means of a questionnaire survey. Methodology: to meet the aims of this work were used method of questioning when n = 160 track and field athletes of different gender and selected countries around the world completed standard questionnaire on the web portal google. In the evaluation of the results I focused on two major areas - lifestyle athletes and their view on recovery and used recovery methods. Kliková, Veronika January 2013 (has links)
Title: The most common injuries in the professional floorball players in Czech Republic for the season 2011/2012. Objective: The aim of this thesis is evaluation of collected informations from questionnaire. Evaluation most common injuries in the professional floorball male and female players for the season 2011/2012.Evaluation their mechanism, what is the level of compensation and regeneration between league teams in Czech Republic. Methods: For collection and evaluation I have used a form of non-standardized questionnaire, which was distributed among floorball teams and their players. The evaluation covered the extra league competitions for the season 2011/2012. Total of 120 questionnaires were evaluated from men and 116 questionnaires from women. Results: The survey showed that the most common injury in male and female professional floorball players is contusion / distension of the muscle in the lower extremity. This injury reported a total of 19% of all respondents. Injury in the ankle suffered a total of 16.6% of all respondents and followed by injuries in the knee joint in 9.6% of all players. Among men dominated most injuries in the ankle joint - 19.3% among women then contusion / distension of the muscle of the lower limb - 21.6%. Most injuries were reported in the post forward. Dynamické rozcvičení u závodních hráčů tenisu / Dynamic warm-up race for tennis players

Koskuba, Jakub January 2012 (has links)
Title: Dynamic warm-up race for tennis players Subject: Male and female tennis players from tennis club Tj Lokomotiva Plzen Objective: Compare immediate influence of static and dynamic stretching on performance level during particular movement tests using device Myotest PRO Methods: To meet the objective quantitative comparison was used by performance parameters using load accelerometer. Quantitative stress parameters were evaluated for individual tests as the mean value from a large amount of repetition in individually evaluation. Results: Tests proved it is not possible to confirm acute positive influence of dynamic stretching on all assesed parameters in different tests. In terms of average values of different tests a noticeable lower limbs improvement has been emerged at two out of three tests. Keywords: dynamic stretching, warm up, sport, injuries, regeneration, tennis
