Zdravotní problémy plavců po etapě specializovaného tréninku / Health Problems of Swimmers participated Specialized Training

Krátká, Barbora January 2019 (has links)
Title: Health Problems of Swimmers participated Specialized Training Objectives: The goal of this thesis is to find out information about health problems occuring by swimmers participated in specialized swimming training and about the course of their swimming career. The next interest of our research is the common duration of swimming career, the causes of its end and whether the main cause are health problems. Another aim of this work is to find out whether health problems of swimmers are connected with their specialization to swimming strokes, which type of disease was the most frequent among swimmers, and the most frequent causes of their health problems. Methods: In the research the method of non-standardized questionnaire was used. The responders were swimmers, which participated in specialized training during their swimming career and their swimming career already ended. The results of questionnaire are elaborated by graphs and tables with legends. Results: We have found out that swimming career was rather short-term. The swimmers have finished it often between 17th and 18th year due to health problems, studies and loss of motivation. Between incidence of infectious and musculoskeletal diseases was not significant difference in frequency. The most frequent disease was tonsillitis, influenza...

Regenerace jaterního parenchymu pomocí aplikace hematopoetických progenitorových buněk po embolizaci portálního řečiště u nemocných s primárně inoperabilními metastázami kolorektálního karcinomu do jater. / Liver Regeneration with aplication of hematopoetic stem cells after portal vein embolization in pacients with primary inoperative colorectal liver metastases

Fichtl, Jakub January 2017 (has links)
Introduction: The reason for the inability of performing the liver resection for colorectal carcinoma metastasis is usually insufficient remnant liver parenchyma after liver resection (future liver remnant volume - FLRV). The current standard method of increasing FLRV is the embolization of the branch of portal vein (portal vein embolization - PVE) on the side of the tumor, and then suspended after hypertrophy of the non-embolised lobe liver resection. Unfortunately, there are some patients who do not increase liver volume despite perfectly executed PVE. Besides that, FLRV occurs during the time necessary for hypertrophy progression of metastatic disease. Therefore, we are trying to find the appropriate way to encourage the growth of remaining liver parenchyma and accelerate hypertrophy of the contralateral liver lobe. From our previous experience (IGA MZ NS 10240), it is possible to be optimistic that there hope is the way of hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPC - adult stem cells) after previous PVE to non-embolised branches of the portal vein. These cells do not only accelerate liver regeneration, but are also able to improve its function (function of the liver) which is especially important for patients after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (steatohepatitis or steatofibrosis), and for patients with...

Aspekty reprodukční biologie mechu \kur{Helodium blandowii} / Aspects of reproduction biology of the moss \kur{Helodium blandowii}

BRADÁČOVÁ, Jitka January 2014 (has links)
Regeneration from stem and branch fragments of the moss Helodium blandowii was examined in common garden and field experiments. The treatments included one cm long terminal stem fragments and branches of one cm and half cm length with and without the terminal and their regeneration was observed in course of 3 months in the common garden experiment and 15 months in the field. Dynamics of Helodium patches was observed in course of 2 years in permanent plots of the nature reserve Ruda. Genetic stucture of all recent Czech populations of Helodium blandowii was investigated and compared with a pilot survey of populations from Scandinavia and Lithuania using the microsatellite markes developed for this study.

Počáteční vegetativní regenerace listnatých dřevin na experimentální ploše předrženého středního lesa v PR Na Voskopě, Český kras / Initial vegetative regeneration of broad-leaved woody plants on the experimental site of reserved coppice-with-standards woodland in the NR Na Voskopě, Czech Karst

Dekan, Petr January 2016 (has links)
This thesis deals with the intensity of tree regeneration in the initial phase of development of future coppice stand. The research was conducted in PR Na Voskopě in the Czech Karst on an experimental strip measuring 25x125 m. This strip was felled in the early spring of 2015 (JELENECKÁ, 2015), there were 14 standards left for the future development of coppice-with-standards forest. The most abundant tree species are hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) and oak (Quercus sp.), there is also the maple (Acer campestre) and service tree (Sorbus torminalis), other trees have only a minimal representation. The average measured age of the felled oak equals 87 years and that of hornbeam equals 74 years, after model calculation for the hornbeam the average age was assessed as 68 years. On the felled strip there were 538 stumps recorded at the end of the growing season (3. - 4. 10. 2015), eight parameters of stump and root re-sprouting (height of the highest sprouts, total number of sprouts, the average height of sprouts, the largest horizontal width of the whole sprouting bunch, browsing rate of sprouts, presence of root sprouts and the sprout cluster presence). The analysis used data taken from Field-Map inventory (JELENECKÁ, 2015). Evaluation of the data showed that DBH has a significant effect on the regeneration of sprouts mainly for the hornbeam, but no effect for the oak. Topographic gradient along the strip also has some effect on the regeneration of sprouts, oak more intensively regenerates at the bottom of the slope and hornbeam in the upper part of the slope. Amid the slope there was some reduction in regeneration, most probably due to the game influence (mouflons). Browsing sprouts is on this experimental strip enormous. Despite adverse weather conditions (drought and heat) in 2015 regenerates in this relatively extreme habitat 91 % stumps.

Léčebné a regenerační účinky kryoterapie u generace 50+ / Therapeutic and Regenerative Effects of Cryotherapy on the 50+ generation

SOSNOVÁ, Eva January 2017 (has links)
The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the life style, regeneration, and relaxation with the focus on the application of cold to treat the elderly. The work explains the use of cryotherapy from both historical and scientific points of view. The aim is to introduce the method of cryotherapy as a popular method which postpones the beginning of dependency and motion impairment with people aged over 50 and thus enables them to keep active much longer. Although the 21st century medicine has reached an extraordinary success, the number of illnesses does not decrease. There is a wide variety of civilisation illnesses resulting from the wrong life style. For such illnesses drugs with frequent side effects are prescribed. The work introduces cryotherapy as one of the methods which can serve the health protection, prevention, the treatment of traumatic injuries, and the supportive therapy of different health problems with relatively no side effects.

Využití regenerace studenou vodou v plaveckém tréninku / The use of regeneration of the cold water in the swimming training

Uhrová, Denisa January 2018 (has links)
Title: Use of the cold water regeneration in swimming training. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to find out whether the cold water regeneration is used in training process by swimming clubs of the Czech Republic. Methods: The research was implemented through the questionnaire method. The data collection was carried out within the Czech Republic's swimming clubs registered under the Czech Association of Swimming Sports. The mathematical - statistical method was used to process acquired data. Visual and tabular representations were used to facilitate their visual analysis and overall assessment. Results: The results of the questionnaire method indicated how the cold water regeneration is used by swimming clubs of the Czech Republic. It has been found that swimming coaches in the Czech Republic use cold water regeneration to a minimum. It has been confirmed that the reason is low awareness of the regeneration method. Another reason was the inadequacy of the demonstrable effects of a given regeneration method for swimming. The noticeable value of the results was reduced by low returns of the questionnaires. Keywords: Swimming training, recovery, cold water, regeneration.

MARŠÁLEK, Martin January 2018 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the effectiveness of specific regeneration on results of a test working capacity of mixed martial arts athletes. The effectiveness of Jacobson's progressive muscle relaxation, full body massage and sauna was tested on first proband. Schultz's autogenic training, whirlpool bath were used on second proband. Both probands performed the same compensatory exercises after MMA training session. Trainings were scheduled three times per week. Intervention programmes lasted for eight weeks. The thesis briefly summarizes the issues of MMA and subsequently the distribution of regeneration and its importance in relation to sport performance. Content analysis, synthesis and measurement method, were used. The research was conducted in the form of individual case studies. Using semi-structured interviews, case-histories of the probands were created. To determine the working capacity, the W170 test was used. The intervention program followed, after which, the W170 test, was performed again. According to the results of working capacity test, the level of working capacity increased, per 42,8 % at first proband and 16,07 % at second proband.
