Zhodnocení nejčastějších úrazů a zdravotních obtíží u závodních hráčů stolního tenistu / Evaluation of the most common injuries and health problems of professional table tennis players

Tenglová, Vendula January 2019 (has links)
Title: Evaluation of the most common injuries and health problems of professional table tennis players Objectives: The main aim of this work is to evaluate the most common injuries and health problems of professional table tennis players in the Czech Republic. Another goal is to determine the level of use of regenerative procedures and compensatory exercises within the training plan of athletes. Methods: The main method used in this thesis was a quantitative research by data analysis from non-standardized questionnaire. The questionnaire was distributed among professional table tennis players who participated actively in the district, regional, league or extra league competition in the Czech Republic or abroad in the 2018/2019 season. A total of 374 questionnaires were processed and evaluated, which corresponds to 62,33 % of the total number of sent questionnaires. Results: Of the 374 table tennis players, 240 were injured (197 men, 43 women), which corresponds to 64,17% of the interviewed players. A total of 361 injuries were recorded. The research confirmed four out of six hypotheses. Statistical significance was noted between the injury and sex, and the statistically significant relationship between the injury and the different playing style was confirmed. Most injuries were in the area of the...

Fyziologické, anatomické a morfologické reakce sazenic buku lesního a smrku ztepilého na stres suchem a následnou závlahu =:Physiological, anatomical and morphological response of European beech and Norway spruce seedlings on drought stress and subsequent irrigation /

Hájíčková, Martina January 2019 (has links)
European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) and Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karst) are the most abundant deciduous and coniferous tree species in the Czech Republic. Both beech and spruce are due to their sensitivity to drought threatened by ongoing climate change that can cause deterioration of their vitality in current habitats. Drought periods are already becoming longer and stronger and previously rare spring droughts become more frequent. The dissertation thesis is based on experiments with Norway spruce and European beech seedling exposed to different levels of drought (well-watered, moderate drought and severe drought). After three to six weeks of drought, the seedlings were well-watered for another two weeks and their response of physiology, anatomy and morphology was evaluated. Experiments were conducted with seedlings at early stage of leaf development and with fully developer leaves to compare response to spring and summer drought. Overall drought response was stronger in spring. Both spring and summer drought reduced gas exchange parameters (in both beech and spruce seedlings up to 100 %), hydraulic conductivity and less strongly also fluorometric parameters. Efficiency of water use in stressed seedlings decreased in spring, while it increased in summer. Shoot and leaves biomass was more reduced by drought than root biomass. Tree-ring width decreased about two times more in beech seedlings than in spruce seedlings. Vessel and tracheids in stem and shoots reduced their number and size, on the contrary, vessel size increased in beech petioles. After rewatering the reduced parameters increased, however, hydraulic conductivity, anatomy and morphology did not reach values of well-watered seedlings. While most of physiological parameters restored in moderately stressed seedlings, in severely stressed seedlings mainly gas exchange parameters remained lower.

Úloha Islet1, BDNF a nanočástic ve vývoji, funkci a regeneraci sluchového systému / Role of Islet1, BDNF and nanoparticles in development, function and regeneration of the auditory system

Chumak, Tetyana January 2016 (has links)
Detailed knowledge of the role that particular genes and factors play during the development and in the normal function of the auditory system is necessary to develop successful regenerative inner ear therapies. Islet1 transcription factor and brain derived neurothrophic factor (BDNF) have great potential to play a role in regenerative inner ear therapy as both have been shown to be sufficient for self-repair regeneration in cochlea in animal studies. In this study we looked at the roles these two factors play in the development and function of the auditory system. In the transgenic mice used in the study, overexpression of Isl1 affected cell specification during embryonic development, leading to enlargement of the cochleovestibular ganglion and accelerated nerve fiber extension and branching in mutant embryos. The hearing of young transgenic mice was not affected. However, it started to decline in 1-month-old animals. This early onset of age-related hearing loss was found to be a consequence of the neurodegeneration of the olivocochlear system caused by Pax2-driven Isl1 misexpression in the hindbrain. Our data provide the first evidence that the alternation of the olivocochlear system efferent system accelerates the age-related functional decline of hearing without the loss of OHCs. The functional role of...

Mesenchymální kmenové buňky a jejich regenerační a imunomodulační potenciál / Mesenchymal stem cells and their regenerative and immunomodulatory potential

Brychtová, Michaela January 2016 (has links)
Mesenchymal stem cells and their regenerative and immunomodulatory potential Abstract Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) possess multidirectional regenerative ability, which, together with their immunomodulatory potential, makes them promising cell type for therapy of wide variety of diseases. Despite ongoing research, which proved MSCs application to be safe, reported effect of MSCs administration on patients is not convincingly beneficial yet. In our work we focused on elucidation of MSCs role in regeneration of vital organs, heart and liver, where a large damage is life threatening for patients and any improvement in therapy would save many lives. Similar situation is in Graft versus host disease (GVHD), where MSCs immunomodulatory properties could be beneficial. Role of MSCs in heart regeneration was examined in vitro. Primary adult swine cardiomyocytes (CMCs) were co-cultured with or without swine MSCs for 3 days and morphological and functional parameters (contractions, current, respiration) of CMCs were measured. MSCs showed supportive effect on CMCs survival, especially at day 3 of the experiment, where in co-culture was significantly higher number of viable CMCs with physiological morphology and maintained function. Effect of MSCs on liver regeneration was observed in swine model of chronic liver...

ZBROJOVKA BRNO / ZBROJOVKA FACTORY BRNO

Kraut, Jan January 2014 (has links)
ZBROJOVKA BRNO - Opportunity for the city Strategies for Zbrojovka Brno, the third largest brownfield in the city. Urban policy and the process of integration of the site into the city and connection with his organism. Creating a territorial strategy or tactical urbanism procedure that tries successive interventions re- incorporate this into the organism of the city , in a way that fully reflect the needs , possibilities and polarity in the territory. It is essential that the established process allowed for long-term gradual regeneration, which can be interrupted by economic pressure, and in its every moment of creating a working environment that sudden interruption of restorative work in their stride. The entire process of restoring the site is divided into several phases , but at each flexibly connected and can run such a large area partially independently . Based on the current state of the complex, which is gradually opened , are removed objects that are in disrepair , and those that hinder the development of the area and its smooth functioning. Subsequently, traffic control , area connected to public transport. As a result, the situation will stabilize and rehabilitate the total area of the factory and its surroundings. All through individual interventions in its structure and public space. The whole process is documented on the basic objectives and approaches of the phases that are subsequently documented reference interventions and achievements typical of the condition of the site. All complemented by an analysis of the phenomenon of the basic tasks of rehabilitation of the site.

Využívání Brownfields - rozvojový potenciál venkovských oblastí / Use of brownfields as a part of potential in rural areas

BÖHM, Petr January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with the definitions of rural development, rural areas, brownfields, greenfields. In the practical part compares two real locations in South County. Greenfield site is located in the village in the district Vidov Czech Budejovice and borwnfield site is located in the village in the district Želeč Tabor. Both locations are assessed according to the model of South Bohemia, which is based on studies němcekého Ministry of Environment. This model consists zetří criteria - potential sites in terms of community benefit in terms of potential investor and the change in the value space - public interest in the regeneration of brownfield sites. These three criteria are still my sub, under which then determines the significance of the site. Then, by calculating the preference index (PI) to determine which location is more suitable for implementation.

Lidské multipotentní mezenchymové stromální buňky - kostní diferenciace a podpora krvetvorby / Human multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells - bone differentiation and hematopoietic support

Pytlík, Robert January 2017 (has links)
Human mesenchymal stromal cells (hMSC) are adult stem or progenitor cells, which physiological role is reparation of damaged tissues. This is achieved mostly by secretion of trophic, angiopoietic and immunomodulatory factors. Beside this, hMSC have potential to differentiate in vitro into specialized cells, especially of the mesodermal lineages. Human MSC also significantly support hematopoiesis in hematopoietic niche. This knowledge raised high hopes for therapeutic use of hMSC, especially in regenerative medicine and treatment of autoimmune diseases, including graft versus host disease (GvHD). As a proof of concept served initially crude preparations of bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMMC), which contain small numbers of hMSC. In our hospital, two pilot clinical studies with BMMC were performed: study of treatment of acute myocardial infarction (negative, prematurely terminated) and study of treatment of peripheral leg arthery disease (promising results). Further research was aimed on optimalisation of hMSC cultivation method for clinical use to obtain highest possible yield and get free from animal proteins. Human MSC were traditionally cultivated in research-grade media with fetal calf serum (FCS), which can lead to immunization of patients after repeated application of hMSC. We achieved...
