ROULOVÁ, Iveta January 2011 (has links)
At the present hurried time are increasingly interested in increasing the total relaxation and body regeneration in a variety of relaxation and wellness centers through massage. The aim of this thesis on the basis of analysis was a theoretical overview of massage movements, the proper procedure for sorting. There have been capturing the effects that the massage has on the human organism. These effects are complementary and intertwined. They also analyzed different types of massage with a primary focus on sports massage and its applications in the sporting situation. Finally, was to create lists of methodological procedures for whole body massage, which can then be used as a theoretical tool for the general public.

Rešiliáno, Tomáš January 2016 (has links)
The thesis deals with the principle and issues associated with operation of the storage power stations, known under the acronym CAES (Compressed Air Energy Storage). Examples of existing and upcoming CAES power stations from commercial sphere are listed and described there. The paper also includes an overview of basic CAES station wiring diagrams and a simplified calculation is performed to compare the efficiency of the chosen diagrams. In the final part of the thesis there is a scheme of so-called adiabatic CAES designed and calculated. For this type of device has been designed suitable wiring and a thermodynamic calculation of the cycle was performed for the purpose of evaluation.

Diskursivní konstrukce nové identity městského regenerovaného prostoru: příklad nábřeží v Bratislavě / Discursive construction of a new identity of the regenerated urban space: the case of waterfront in Bratislava

Juhász, Matej January 2015 (has links)
Waterfronts in post-socialist cities have became under the influence of post- socialist transformations an areas of conflict, which are full of contradictory pressures based on the different actors and their views. This diploma thesis deals with plans and waterfront regeneration projects in Bratislava from the perspective of discursive practices and representations of investors, developers, city government and citizens. The work also examines the role of the actors involved in the formation of new identities of regenerated areas via different representations. It focuses on the process, which leads to the formation of new identities in the plans and projects of waterfront regeneration. The work uses an interpretative analysis of text segments. It examines both the process of discursive construction of place through a variety of discursive practices and offers an insight into the backstage relationships of actors involved. Key words: discourse, representation, identity, Bratislava, waterfront, regeneration

Studium regeneračního potenciálu progenitorů Sertoliho buněk u pulců Xenopus tropicalis po amputaci ocasu. / Study of regenerative potential of Sertoli cell progenitors in Xenopus tropicalis tadpoles after tail amputation.

Wróblová, Aneta January 2020 (has links)
African clawed frogs (Xenopus) represent an ideal model organism for study of regeneration mechanisms. In frogs, complete regeneration occurs in the tadpole stage. In later stages the regeneration capacity is lost. The Laboratory of Developmental biology was successful in establishment of cell culture called Xenopus tropicalis immature Sertoli cells (XtiSCs) derived from X. tropicalis testes. These cells are common progenitors of Sertoli cells and peritubular myoid cells. XtiSCs show similar characteristics as mesenchymal stem cells. MSCs hold interest of scientists for their immunomodulatory properties and multipotent differential and regeneration potential. In this thesis, we studied regeneration and migration potential of XtiSCs after X. tropicalis tadpole's tail amputation in developmental stage 47 - 50. Transgenic XtiSCs culture expressing RFP was prepared to facilitate transplantation experiments. Transplantation experiments showed preferential migration of XtiSCs into the site of injury. XtiSCs transplantations in X. laevis tadpoles with downregulated NO synthases eNOS and nNOS revealed their migratory dependence on nitric oxide signalization. Imunocytochemical staining of XtiSCs in vitro showed positive iNOS, nNOS and Pax7 expression. Imunohistochemical staining of tadpole's tail vibratome...

Title: The most common difficulties in rowing - analysis and possibilities of prevention and compensation Objectives: The main goal of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the most common difficulties and damage to the musculoskeletal system in rowers in the Czech Republic aged 15 to 40 years. Another goal is to evaluate the possible causes and risk factors of individual problems and damage, their treatment and prevention. Methods: In this diploma thesis, the methods of literary research and the method of written questioning were used. The method of literary research was used to gain knowledge about the issue of rowing in domestic and foreign literature. The method of written questioning was used to find out data concerning the most common problems and damage to the musculoskeletal system, their prevention and treatment. Results: Difficulties or damage to the musculoskeletal system are reported by 108 probands (49,54 % of respondents). A total of 252 difficulties or damage to the musculoskeletal system were recorded in rowers. The most common problem of rowers is muscle damage (18,15 % of all problems). The most common problems are located in the forearms and wrists (24,27 % of all problems), lumbar spine (23,01 % of all problems) and knee joint (17,16 % of all problems). The research confirmed only...

Ekonomika regenerace brownfieldu / Economics of brownfields regeneration

Lukele, Petra Elly January 2018 (has links)
The dissertation thesis focuses on the economic view of interventions in the extensive brownfields, ie uninhabited parts of cities, abandoned halls, buildings, industrial zones. It monitors the factors influencing their regeneration, deals with ecological and related financial issues. It examines the possibilities and ways of financing the recovery of these abandoned and unused areas. The work demonstrates the suitability of using the CBA method to determine the economic efficiency of brownfields regeneration projects. Whether the regeneration of brownfields is economically efficient, establishes a new indicator cef as the difference between the financial and economic profitability of the project. The work verifies the suitability of using the indicator on a research sample of 28 implemented brownfield regeneration projects. At the end of the thesis, the expected value of the social benefit of Monte Carlo is determined with the support of the Crystal Ball simulation software.

Regenerace jaterního parenchymu pomocí aplikace hematopoetických progenitorových buněk po embolizaci portálního řečiště u nemocných s primárně inoperabilními metastázami kolorektálního karcinomu do jater. / Liver Regeneration with aplication of hematopoetic stem cells after portal vein embolization in pacients with primary inoperative colorectal liver metastases

Fichtl, Jakub January 2017 (has links)
Introduction: The reason for the inability of performing the liver resection for colorectal carcinoma metastasis is usually insufficient remnant liver parenchyma after liver resection (future liver remnant volume - FLRV). The current standard method of increasing FLRV is the embolization of the branch of portal vein (portal vein embolization - PVE) on the side of the tumor, and then suspended after hypertrophy of the non-embolised lobe liver resection. Unfortunately, there are some patients who do not increase liver volume despite perfectly executed PVE. Besides that, FLRV occurs during the time necessary for hypertrophy progression of metastatic disease. Therefore, we are trying to find the appropriate way to encourage the growth of remaining liver parenchyma and accelerate hypertrophy of the contralateral liver lobe. From our previous experience (IGA MZ NS 10240), it is possible to be optimistic that there hope is the way of hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPC - adult stem cells) after previous PVE to non-embolised branches of the portal vein. These cells do not only accelerate liver regeneration, but are also able to improve its function (function of the liver) which is especially important for patients after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (steatohepatitis or steatofibrosis), and for patients with...
