Orientador: Leny Rodrigues Martins Teixeira / Banca: Josefa Aparecida Grigoli / Banca: Raul Aragão Martins / Resumo: Esta pesquisa buscou identificar a representação dos professores em início de carreira sobre a indisciplina em sala de aula, bem como realizar uma reflexão sobre a formação e sua repercussão na construção dessas representações. Para tanto, desenvolveu-se um estudo de natureza quantitativa/qualitativa, a partir da aplicação de um questionário para 85 professores em início de carreira na Rede Municipal de Ensino de Presidente Prudente, com tempo de 0 a 2 e de 2,1 a 5 anos de exercício no magistério. O conjunto dos professores apresentou três diferentes formações para o Magistério: Pedagogia, outras Licenciaturas e Magistério no Ensino Médio. A partir de suas respostas ao questionário e, por meio da análise de conteúdo, procurou-se identificar as Representações Sociais, relativas à indisciplina, estabelecendo-se uma comparação dos resultados, conforme as diferentes formações encontradas e o tempo de exercício no magistério. Os resultados da pesquisa sugeriram que os profissionais docentes, ao se posicionarem sobre as questões referentes à indisciplina, estão orientados por diferentes perspectivas, das quais se destacam três: a didático pedagógica; a ético-moral e a individualista psicologizante; e que formação acadêmica e o tempo de experiência marcam algumas diferenças. / Abstract: The aim of this research is to investigate how the teachers in their carrier think the indiscipline subject in the classroom, as well as to propose a discussion about the formation and the repercussion of these representations. Since there is a great range of researches that discuss the relationship between teacher-student, this research proposes a different view: to investigate the effects of indiscipline on the teachers. We suppose that to aim the quality of education, it is essential to identify the needs and to think about the practice. To do so we hold a quantitative/qualitative research that involved the application of a questionnaire to 85 teachers who are in the beginning of their carrier, 0 to 2 and 2, 1 to 5 years of teaching, in the Municipal schools of Presidente Prudente. They had three different kinds of degree: Pedagogy, another courses and high school level. Through their answer to the questionnaire and the analysis of the content we intended to characterize the teachers’ Social Representations of indiscipline. We compared the results according to the process to the different graduation levels and the time carrier. We also made some inferences about the process through which these representations were built. The results of the research suggest that facing the indiscipline subject the teachers are oriented by different perspectives: the didactic pedagogic, the ethic-moral and the psychological individualist. We also observed that the graduation levels and the time carrier make some difference in this aspect. / Mestre

A partir da trajetória dos aglomerados subnormais, buscou-se caracterizar o Jardim Maracanã e a situação das famílias entrevistadas, em seus aspectos sociais e econômicos, nas dificuldades enfrentadas frente às representações sociais negativas que o bairro apresenta, principalmente relacionadas à violência, constatadas nas reportagens de jornais da cidade e em entrevistas. Realizou-se uma análise dos deslocamentos realizados pelas famílias entrevistadas no âmbito local, estadual e nacional, buscando averiguar a origem e a motivação da escolha da cidade de Londrina e do Jardim Maracanã, levando em conta os aspectos relacionados às transformações sócioeconômicas, principalmente as conseqüências da modernização da agricultura, industrialização e urbanização, que acarretou nos diversos deslocamentos internos e intra-urbanos. Por último, procurouse discutir as possibilidades e limites das políticas públicas na reversão dos processos de exclusão social em curso no bairro estudado. / Abstract: This research involves discussions about the social exclusion process, social representations and public political in the city of Londrina-PR, emphasis the questions related to the violence lived by the people who is living in a neighborhood called Jardim Maracana, located in the west zone of the city. From aglomerados subnormais it looked for to characterized the Jardim Maracana and the situation of the interviewed families, in their social and economic aspects, in the difficulties found toward the negative social representations that the neighborhood present, specially related to violence, observed in the city newspapers and in interviews. It was done an analyze of the movement made by the families interviewed in the local area, in the state area and national area, searching the origin and the motivation about the choosing the city of Londrina and the Jardim Maracana neighborhood, taking into account the aspects related to the social-economic transformations, specially the consequences from the agriculture modernization, industrial and urbanization, that caused in the several internal movements and intra-urban. At last , it was discussed the possibilities and limits of the public politics turning around the social exclusion processes going on in the neighborhood studied. / Mestre

Resumo: A nutrição exerce um papel fundamental na promoção da saúde dos indivíduos e na redução dos fatores de risco para o desenvolvimento de doenças, realizando ações de caráter coletivo e preventivo. No entanto, estudos demonstram um número reduzido de nutricionistas atuando em Saúde Coletiva. Recentemente, a Estratégia Saúde da Família foi apresentada como proposta de reorientação do modelo assistencial em saúde, substituindo o modelo médico hegemônico. Embora preconize o trabalho interdisciplinar e multiprofissional, o que se observa, na prática, é a predominância de equipes mínimas, com a participação do nutricionista em menos de 5% das equipes. Neste contexto, o objetivo do trabalho foi conhecer as representações sociais construídas pelos profissionais das equipes de saúde da família sobre o fazer teórico-prático do nutricionista. A pesquisa foi realizada em duas Unidades de Saúde da Família de um município do interior do estado de São Paulo e os sujeitos do estudo foram 27 profissionais das equipes de saúde da família, eleitos por critério intencional. Tratou-se de um estudo descritivo-exploratório com abordagem qualitativa, apropriando-se do referencial teórico das Representações Sociais. A coleta de dados foi realizada no período de dezembro de 2008 a março de 2009, por meio de entrevistas semi-estruturadas. Para a interpretação dos dados, seguiram-se os passos operacionais propostos por Minayo (2007). Da análise dos dados, emergiram 5 grandes temas: o nutricionista na ESF, a abordagem de questões alimentares pelos profissionais da equipe de saúde da família, a educação nutricional, problematizando a ausência do profissional nutricionista nas equipes de saúde da família e o trabalho em equipe. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Nutrition plays a fundamental role in promoting the health of individuals and reducing risk factors for the development of diseases, performing collective and preventive actions. However, studies show a small number of dietitians working in Public Health. Recently, the Family Health Strategy was presented as a proposal to reorient the health care model, replacing the hegemonic medical model. While advocating an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary work, which is observed in practice is the dominance of teams minimum, with the participation of nutritionists in less than 5% of the teams. In this context, the objective was to understand the social representations built by the professionals of family health on the work of nutritionist. The survey was conducted in two units of Family Health of a municipality in the State of São Paulo and the study subjects were 27 professionals of teams of family health, elected by intentional criteria. This was a descriptive exploratory study with a qualitative approach, appropriating the theoretical framework of Social Representations. Data collection was conducted from December 2008 to March 2009, through semi-structured interviews. In interpreting the data, we followed the operational steps proposed by Minayo (2007). Five major themes emerged from data analysis: dietitian in the ESF, the approach to food issues by the team of family health, nutrition education, questioning the absence of professional nutritionists in family health teams and teamwork. The main representations with respect to nutritionist were those related to their role in prescribing diets. However, results also revealed a movement for change in the conception of professional role, as evidenced by a wider knowledge about the functions and duties of the dietitian. A temática da adoção sempre vem acompanhada de uma série de outros temas subjacentes e que entre si mantém uma relação de interdependência. A presente pesquisa representa, portanto, uma investigação acerca dessa temática e dos aspectos a ela relacionados, a fim de possibilitar uma compreensão das representações sociais produzidas, constantemente atualizadas e comunicadas a famílias adotivas e postulantes à adoção. No passado,essas representações contribuíram para a construção de uma cultura da adoção repleta de mitos, medos e expectativas que, conseqüentemente, passaram a circular no âmbito do senso comum e, num processo de retroalimentação, ganharam força, estruturaram-se e passaram a justificar uma concepção negativa da adoção. O contato com o referido tema e com o conjunto das informações que ele suscita, nos permitiu a construção de uma perspectiva histórica da prática da adoção e/ou da colocação de crianças em famílias substitutas. Permitiu-nos também conhecer, através dos dados coletados, o panorama de sua situação atual, marcado pela presença de representações carregadas de sentidos/significados que vão sempre em direção à possibilidade de fazer da adoção um meio pelo qual se supera a impossibilidade de gerar biologicamente e então, exercer a maternidade e a paternidade, estruturar a família a partir do modelo nuclear e, deste modo, atender às exigências advindas da própria cultura em relação aos papéis sociais da mãe, do pai e da família. The adoption thematic is always followed by many other themes which keep an interdependency relation among them. The present research represents, therefore, one investigation about this thematic and the aspects related to it, in order to comprehend producted social representations, constantly actualized and communicated to the adoptive families and the ones which intend to adopt a child. In the past, this representation contributed to the edification of a full of myths adoption culture, the fears and expectations that, consequently, started to circulate around the common sense and, in a retrosupply process, they gained strength, structured themselves and started to justify a negative conception of the adoption. The contact with the referred theme and with the generated information by it, has permited us the construction of an adoption practice historic perspective and/or the children input in substitute families. It also allowed us to know, by the collected datas, an overview of the actual situation, marked by presence of filled of meanings/significance representations that go in search of a possibility to make the adoption a way to the impossibility to biologically conception, so, they fulfill the maternity and paternity, structure the family, from a nuclear paradigm and, thus, attend to the demands coming from the parents and family social parts in relation to the adoption culture. O recorte tempo/espaço se deu entre os anos de 2006 e 2007, em Pontal, SP, Brasil. Enfatizamos que trabalharemos com as diversas formas de morte real/simbólica que atinge as concepções de mundo, as utopias, os ecossistemas, as múltiplas memórias dos povos, entre outras mortes, cujas idéias procuramos explorar. Tendo os estudos de complexidade por aporte teórico, a temática delimitada estabelece uma conjunção entre os saberes e as práticas da condição de investigador/educador, preocupado em recosturar ciência e arte. Considerando que o nosso trabalho foi construído junto ao programa de "Pós-Graduação em Serviço Social"; pressupomos que a ação educativa constitui um dos traços da práxis do assistente social. / Abstract: The present essay has as a central thematic the imaginary study and the death depiction prevailing in some students diaries at the Public School "Águas Claras" (fictitious name). Procura expor em detalhes a construção de uma vida outra, sagrada, simbólica, mítica e mágica trançada do viver objetivo, preservando aquilo que tem de mais profundo e sagrado: as encantarias da festa do Rosário, de São Benedito, do Reinado e da Cavalhada. No mundo real os congadeiros cumprem um ritual de morte e de (re) nascimento, que conta léguas e léguas de histórias do desterro forçado de seus povos. Choram a retirada de seus antepassados do Congo africano, choram pelo passado de escravidão; no mundo imaginário recriam a maravilha da festa de Reis e Rainhas, onde trabalhadores rurais, carpinteiros, pedreiros, serventes e donas-de-casa se transformam em famílias reais, desfilando num cortejo real. A Dissertação busca identificar e relacionar os aspectos de resistência da Congada e como fazem para manter as tradições de uma festividade com quase dois séculos na região, utilizando o suporte dos estudos da Antropologia Contemporânea como formadores de arcabouço teórico para fundamentação da pesquisa. / Abstract: The study conducted between the years of 2005 and 2008 refers to the efforts of members of Terno da Coroa de São Benedito in the sense of cultural resistance, maintenance and perpetuation of the demonstration Congada, Passos-MG. It exposes in details the construction of another life, sacred, symbolic, mythical and magical woven objective living, preserving what is deeper and sacred: the enchantary of Festa do Rosário, São Benedito, the Reinado and the Cavalhada. In the real world Congadeiros meet a ritual of death and (re) birth, which account miles and miles of stories of forced exile from their people. They cry the withdrawal of their ancestors of the African Congo, crying the past of slavery, in the imaginary world recreate the wonder of the party of Kings and Queens, where rural workers, carpenters, bricklayers , serventes and housewives are transformed into real families, parading a real procession. Trata-se de um estudo de Geografia Regional, que se aproxima da Geografia Histórica, buscando compreender a partir do discurso regional as representações sociais sobre a região e os significados políticos dessas representações. O veículo escolhido para a apreensão do discurso foi o jornal mais antigo da região, ainda editado, que é simultaneamente também um dos sujeitos produtores do discurso regional. O jornal, documento de domínio público, é reconhecido nesta tese como um espaço de diálogo de atores sociais (jornalistas, acadêmicos, empresários, políticos etc.) que enunciam e têm a região como importante base territorial nas relações de poder. No conjunto de discursos apreendidos no jornal e de três obras referenciais sobre a formação da região, identificou-se através das diferentes denominações e imagens regionais, contidas nesses discursos, representações sociais sobre a região. Do Sertão do Vale do Paranapanema à Região de Presidente Prudente, passando pela Alta Sorocabana e 10ª Região Administrativa, percorreu-se sua história centenária identificando duas formas como a região é representada socialmente: a região do devir e a região do atraso. Dessa identificação, levantou-se a hipótese de que o discurso, político em sua essência, significa e ressignifica a região tornando suas fronteiras voláteis e indefinidas, atuando no sentido de ampliá-las, o que demonstra que a região tem grande importância nas relações de poder que se dão em âmbito regional. A região é, portanto, além de um espaço de identidade e convivência, um espaço de conveniência política. / Abstract: This study is about Presidente Prudente’s region in the west of São Paulo State. This region was constituted in the summit of the coffee plantation expansion in São Paulo State in the century XX. Through to Regional Geography study and the Historical Geography it’s looking for to understand the regional speech and social representations and the political meanings of them. The local oldest newspaper play a part of the role to building this regional speech then it was chosen to indentify theirs subjects. This thesis uses a newspaper like a recognized public document whose is a space for dialogue between social subjects (journalists, academics, entrepreneurs, political etc.). Those subjects enunciate and consider the region as well as important territorial base in the relationships of power. In the group of speeches studied in this newspaper and others three referencial academic works it was possible to identify differents denominations for regional imaginary means contained in those speeches and social representations. From the of Paranapanema Valley to Presidente Prudente Region, going by Alta Sorocabana and 10th Administrative Region, it was traveled by centennial history identifying two forms socially represented: the region of the devir (to become economically developed) and the region of the delay (to fail economically). The hypothesis building is that a regional speech gives significations and new signifactaions for region that turning their borders volatile and indefinite. The effect of indefined borders is acting in the sense to enlarge the region area influence, what demonstrates that has great power importance in this space. The region is, therefore, the space of social identity and coexistence and the space of political conveniences. / Doutor

Neste percurso, buscamos compreender quem eram os seus produtores e quais as estratégias utilizadas para difundir estes discursos entre as elites guarapuavanas, bem como a que prática estes estavam ligados. A partir desse objetivo, poderemos perceber as especificidades nas interpretações sobre as transformações vividas pela cidade tendo em vista os sujeitos que as inscreveram. Analisando estas representações, poderemos perceber os limites e papéis impostos pelas elites a si e aos demais integrantes do espaço urbano, delimitando quais as atitudes aceitáveis, quais as depreciáveis e de que forma estabeleciam os espaços a serem ocupados por cada grupo dentro da vida social citadina / Abstract: The objective of this dissertation is to interpret the discourses and representations in the gossip column "Rumores Sociais", published between 1959 and 1964 in the Guarapuava's newspaper Folha do Oeste. In this course, we understand who the producers and the strategies used to disseminate these discourses among Guarapuava's elites and the practice that transformations experienced by the city in order that the subjects enrolled. Analyzing these representations we realize the limits and roles imposed by the elites themselves and other members of the urban space, limiting what actions acceptable, depreciable and which established how the spaces to be occupied by each group within the city social life / Mestre

Resumo: O objetivo desta pesquisa consiste na elaboração de mapas áudio-dinâmicos em múltiplas escalas automáticas, para um Sistema de Navegação e Guia de Rota em Automóvel (SINGRA). O projeto das representações cartográficas foi dividido em duas fases: projeto de composição geral e projeto áudio-gráfico. Os mapas visuais dinâmicos foram elaborados com base nos princípios da comunicação cartográfica e da percepção visual, com ênfase nas operações de generalização. A área de estudo apresenta uma malha urbana com diferentes tipos de vias, cruzamentos e limites de velocidade. Os mapas foram projetados para serem exibidos em um monitor de pequeno formato (sete polegadas), com alta resolução, e um total de quatro escalas de representação foi determinado: 1/10.000, 1/5.000, 1/2.500 e 1/1.000. Tais escalas foram definidas em função do tamanho da mídia de apresentação e do tipo de tarefa tática. Os mapas generalizados foram obtidos pela aplicação das operações de simplificação, exagero e deslocamento, sobre uma base cartográfica na escala 1/1.000. As representações áudio-dinâmicas foram produzidas a partir de variáveis áudio-dinâmicas. As mensagens de voz foram pré-gravadas na voz feminina, executadas em sincronia com as informações visuais. O projeto foi implementado em um SINGRA disponível na FCT-UNESP, a partir do compilador Visual Basic e da biblioteca MapObjects. Ao comparar o sistema de múltiplas escalas com o de escala única, observa-se que os novos mapas adaptados ao contexto de direção do motorista, podem permitir que o usuário receba a informação de acordo com a tarefa de navegação desenvolvida ao longo da rota ... (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The aim of this research is to design and implement an automatics multi-scale and audio-dynamic map for an In-Car Route Guidance and Navigation System (RGNS). The design was organized in two stages: general composition and auditory-graphic design. The visual-dynamic maps were designed based on cartographic communication principles and visual perception, especially on the generalization operators. The area of study presents an urban network with different types of roads, nodes, and speed limits. The maps were designed for a small-screen display, and a total of four different scales were employed: 1:10.000, 1:5.000, 1:2.500 and 1:1.000. These scales were chosen according to the media size and type of tactical task. The maps were derived from an accurate cartographic database at scale of 1:1000, by applying generalization techniques, such as simplification, displacement, and enhancement. The audio-dynamic representations were produced by taking account a set of audio-dynamic variables. The voice messages were recorded in a female voice, and they were presented with visual information, simultaneously. The design was implemented in a navigation system, which is available in the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, by using Visual Basic compiler and MapObjects library. The results of comparison between the automatic multiple-scale and single scale system show that the new system, enhanced driver's context, can allow the user receiving information according to the tasks performed along of the route. From the employment of generalization technique it was possible to present in a properly way the amount of information in the display, in which it can contribute for reducing navigational errors and visual demand, when compared with single-scale map ... Orientador: Jandira Liria Biscalquini Talamoni / Banca: Dirceu da Silva / Banca: Renato Eugênio da Silva Diniz / Resumo: Neste trabalho investigou-se as representações sociais sobre meio ambiente de um total de 42 alunos de 4ªs séries do Ensino Fundamental, provenientes de duas Escolas Públicas localizadas nas zonas Rural e Urbana, de um município do interior paulista. A metodologia utilizada foi a de pesquisa social, com abordagem qualitativa, embora alguns dados quantitativos também sejam apresentados de forma complementar. A coleta de dados foi realizada através de pesquisas bibliográfica e suplementar de dados e de pesquisa de campo. Nesta última, visando à verificação e à validação da pesquisa, foram utilizadas diferentes formas de abordagem investigativa, tais como: observações, rodas de conversa, entrevistas individuais, desenhos e questionários. A análise de conteúdo dos dados obtidos revelou que as possíveis origens para aquelas representações, categorizadas em naturalistas e antropocêntricas, estão associadas, principalmente, às influências da mídia, da família e da religião. Buscou-se, através da análise dos resultados e das discussões, contribuir com sugestões que possam promover, nos docentes daquelas escolas, reflexões sobre suas práticas educativas, visando à melhoria do ensino do tema considerado. Neste sentido, a expectativa é que esta pesquisa possa efetivamente representar uma contribuição para os profissionais interessados em trabalhar a partir dos saberes acumulados pela vivência de diferentes experiências que as crianças têm com o mundo e que trazem para a escola, desenvolvendo ações educativas ambientalmente comprometidas com a formação de indivíduos responsáveis pela criação e manutenção de melhores condições de vida e de desenvolvimento adequado, num contexto em que a prática pedagógica seja criativa, democrática e fundamentada no diálogo entre gerações e culturas e, tendo como perspectiva, estimular a ética nas relações entre os homens e entre estes e o meio ambiente / Abstract: On this work it was searched into representations about environment in a total of 42 4th graded students of elementary school, proceeding from two public schools located in the rural and urban areas of a town in countryside of São Paulo State. The methodology used was a social research with the quality approach, although some quantitative data are also presented as a supplementary way. The data collection was carried out through bibliographical, data supplemental and field research. On the field research, aiming the examination and validation of the research, it was used different ways of investigation approach such as: observation, talk session circles, individual interviews, drawings and questionnaires. The analyses of data content achieved, showed that possible origins to those representations, rated in naturalist and anthropocentric, are associated, mainly to the media, family and religion influence. It was searched through the results and discussion analyses to contribute with suggestions that may promote in the teachers from those schools reflections about their teaching practice, aiming the teaching improvement on the considered theme. This way, the expectations are that this research may represent an effective contribution to the professional interested in working starting from the accumulated knowledge by the different life experiences that children have with the world and they bring to school, developing educative actions environmentally engaged with the individual formation responsible for the creation and maintenance for better life conditions and suitable development, in a context on which the pedagogical practice is creative, democratic and based on the dialogue between generations and cultures and, having as perspective, stimulate the ethical in the relationships among the mankind and between these ones and the environment / Mestre
