Žena na trhu práce v situaci matky / Woman on The Labour Market in the Situation of the Mother

Jakešová, Michaela January 2017 (has links)
Human society is dependent on women who ensure their sustainability in the role of mothers. At the same time women participate in the economic prosperity of the family and society. The combination of these two roles puts them at a disadvantage in the labour market. This thesis aims at analyzing the current situation of women from the point of view of motherhood and position on the labour market. The theoretical part deals with two primary areas including social policy and the labour market. Social policy gives information about family policy and state support to mothers in comparison with other countries. The practical part, which is based on methodology, is dedicated to the analysis of the current situation of women and is divided according to the origin of the data. The secondary data were obtained from the public statistical database and the primary one through the questionnaire survey. The outcome of the work reveals significant factors influencing the age at which women have their first child, the dependence between parental leave income, the length of parental leave, and other answers to the research questions.

The diploma paper is concerned with the occurrence of ethic issues in advertising. The aim of the paper is to find out whether morality or immorality of the adverting is perceived. After all, the advertising has become a part of our lives. It appeals to our senses and influences human behaviour. Thus, the advertising needs to be monitored. It may seem that the advertising is a category on its own. There are no restrictions applied in the advertising. Every advertising agency has an opportunity to create any kind of advertising. However, this is not true. Some efforts are made through the Council for Radio and Television Broadcasting and the Council for Advertising. Moreover, the Code of Advertising Practice was created and it should ensure the morality of the advertising in the Czech Republic. The morality, nevertheless, cannot be guaranteed so easily. Ethics is a broad term which can have different meanings for anyone.

Šandová, Petra January 2017 (has links)
The patient's autonomy is very important part of medical and nursing practice and every patient should have a right to express their opinion about their treatment. Advance directives give person an opportunity to express even in situations when it is not possible to communicate with others. Although it is possible to write advance directives in the Czech Republic only negligible percentage of people take advantage of this possibility. Why is it so? I have set two goals in my thesis. My first goal is to determine the awareness of the general public about the advance directives in the Czech Republic and also I want to find out awareness about the possibility to appoint a guardian as a mediator of fulfilment of advance directives of an individual. It is also my goal to discover whether respondents would welcome greater awareness of this topic. My second objective is to determine the attitudes of respondents to the problematics of advance directives. I want to discover if the respondents have ever dealt with the idea of being in a situation which they could not communicate with their environment and if they would like to have an opinion to decide about their treatment and also if they would like to name their mediator. I would like to provide the results of my thesis to the department of quality...

Autonomi vs. Kontroll : Hur ser det ut på Samhall?

Christiansson, Thomas, Tranfeldt, Per Fredrik January 2011 (has links)
ABSTRAKTTitel: Autonomi vs. Kontroll. / Title: Autonomy vs. Control. –What´s the situation like at Samhall? Level: Final assignment for Bachelor Degree in Business Administration Authors: Thomas Christiansson & Per Fredrik Tranfeldt Supervisor: Dr Jonas KågströmDate: June 2011 Aim: The purpose of this paper is that by using the SDT (Self- Determination Theory) todetermine whether the employees perceive their workplace as autonomous or controlled. Thebasic requirement to get a job at Samhall is being disabled. Samhall aim to get as manypeople as possible to leave the company for other regular employers. The reason for this isthat Samhall is a state-owned company assigned to provide development opportunities forpeople. Samhall works in the opposite direction in contrast to similar companies and we havetherefore chosen to study this company. Method: We used the quantitative method. Data were collected through a survey of Samhallemployees in Bollnäs, Gävle and Söderhamn. The questionnaire, in its turn, is built anddesigned by the leading researchers in the SDT (University of Rochester) and was completedin paper form. We have then compiled it in Google Documents to more easily see the resultsusing tables and graphs. By using the statistical program SPSS, we have been able to calculatemeans and standard deviations for deeper analysis, in addition, we accomplished a factoranalysis. The presentation of the results has been in writing, diagrams and tables from SPSS. Results & Conclusions: The results of the survey show that employees perceive Samhall asan autonomous place of work. However, the results also show that one in five workers do notknow their goal nor what they must do to get there. We have shown that our empiricismcorroborate SDT theory (Self-Determination Theory), which we prove by the factor analysis. Suggestions for future research: Conduct a similar study at another company and thencompare the results. Using the SDT and measure all elements at Samhall, but also to select awider geographic range of the survey. Contributions of the thesis: Through our work we have been able to show Samhall´sposition on our autonomy thermometer. This work has also shows that Samhall should be better in some areas. Keywords: Autonomy, factor analysis, motivation, respondents, Samhall, Self- DeterminationTheory (SDT), corroboration.

Specifika marketingového výzkumu u dětí / Specifications of marketing research conducted with underage respondents

Čepek, Michal January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the ethics of marketing research conducted with underage respondents. Child security is a very hot topic these days; therefore the field of market research should use only methods tolerated by parents. Global as well as local market research associations regularly publish codes of conduct and guidelines dealing with the ethics in market research. However, they define only basic rules and regulations and do not reflect the specificity of each method and technique. The goal of this diploma thesis is to identify methods used in market research that are not perceived as ethical by parents. Results should motivate research agencies to eliminate using such methods or at least modify them to decrease the level of controversy among general public. In order to identify unethically perceived market research methods, the author of the thesis conducted a quantitative research among the needed target group: parents of school kids. The survey found 5 methods that are considered ethical and thus do not pose any significant threat to the industry of market research: taste test, observation, product test, eye-tracking and communication test. Two methods were labeled as unethical by the respondents: field experiment and online discussion groups. Those methods can be used without any major changes provided that agencies communicate openly with parents all details regarding the research. They have to make sure that parents understand the methodology and are sure to let their children participate in such a project. Finally, three methods were recognized as highly unethical or even illegal: neuromarketing, netnography and geolocation (geomarketing). These methods carry a high probability of damaging the positive image of market research industry among general public. Less than one quarter of respondents consider these methods as suitable for use with kids and at the same time more than 25 % of parents think that those methods are illegal. In case of neuromarketing, it is recommended to firstly explain the used methodology in detail and, if possible, demonstrate its 100 % safety in presence of a doctor. Netnography was evaluated as highly unethical. On the other hand, it is a type of observation; therefore, its use in reality is unlikely to be registered by public. As a result, there does not have to be any severe steps taken to regulate this method. Geolocation scored as the most unethical market research method in the survey. This method is therefore not recommended for use as it carries an enormous risk of damaging the whole market research industry.
