The main aim of my diploma thesis is the analysis of present state of tourism in the area of Lipno and a suggestion of an effective and complex strategy for the tourism development through the identification of number one problems in given territory.A short characteristics of the certain area is to be found there which is followed by the analysis of the current tourism condition. In the second section I have evaluated the offer and demand in the summer and winter season. In the thesis the tourism development is also handled, where the developments of the offer and demand and the troubled sections of this sector. In conclusion there are some proposals for the region development, which priorities are divided into particular activities.

This diploma work is called ``The Market Segmentation with using Cluster Analysis Methods``. This segmentation is made in the marketplace of tourism. The cluster analysis methods are classified into hierarchical and no hierarchical ones. The hierarchical methods are divided into the following methods: The nearest neighbour metod, The furthest neighbour metod, The weighted group metod. MacQueen K-means and Wishart methods are no hierarchical methods. In the work we can find the division of one informant into 5 groups according to two methods ( The furthest neighbour metod and MacQueen K-means). Each group has its own representative which consists of the most frequent answers. This information is exploited at sorting clients in turism.

The diploma work deals with importace and distribution of geography of tourism in the educational programmes. After the preliminary theoretical chapters my own research follows. The results of questionnaire investigation are made into graphs and tables that are components of the supplement. In the final part there is a summary of the learned facts and set purposes connected with possibilities of their application in practices. I evaluated the position of geography of tourism in the educational programmes in different types of school and the relation of geography of tourism to other subjects.

Diplomová práce se zabývá partnerstvím veřejného a soukromého sektoru - PPP, z angl. Public Private Partnership. Práce je zaměřena na oblast cestovního ruchu, ve které je vzájemná spolupráce velmi důležitá, neboť v cestovním ruchu dochází ke každodennímu střetu veřejného a soukromého sektoru. Práce ukazuje význam této spolupráce na pilotních projektech České republiky, splňujících definici PPP, a na projektech založených na principu partnerství, které jsou v cestovním ruchu daleko častější. PPP pomáhá rozvíjet infrastrukturu, která je tolik potřebná pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu, a je příležitostí pro regiony a kraje, jak realizovat projekty, které by nemohly provést tradiční cestou.

The diploma thesis deals with the tourism strategy in Brno focusing on the theme of the Brno city of students. The work consists of two parts. In the theoretical part is a research of literary and internet sources of solved problems. The main focus is on strategic planning and strategic documents of the tourism for the Czech Republic at national, regional and local levels. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to detect and verify whether the target group of students and the topic - Brno student city will acquire higher priority and higher representation in the new Program, which was created during the preparation of this diploma thesis. Two more goals are formulated in the paper. Through an exploration among foreign universities, it will be verified whether these universities cooperate with the home city and how. The survey research will detect how foreign students perceive the city of Brno. The practical part summarizes the results obtained from the performed research and their interpretation.

Seniorský cestovní ruch / Senior tourism

This diploma thesis analyzes the senior tourism, its development, status, structure and perceptions of accommodation facility owners. We used leisure development and the evolution of older people (55 years and 65 years) for the theoretical framing theory. We also used development funds and the theory of subjective and real age for better explaining the actual trends. The methodology of thesis was based on a survey, informal interviews and email survey. A questionnaire survey was conducted on two levels. The first aims directly at senior citizens (240 respondents) and the second at the owners of accommodation facilities. An important source of information was informal conversation among the elderly. These interviews helped to clarify and to explain phenomena that were discovered in surveys. Another source of information was planned as a telephone poll of travel agents. However, for fear of misuse of data and retaining its "know-how" there were no results and this method of information obtaining was avoided. A very important source of information were reviews of Czech and foreign literature. Finally, I used and Internet sources. Diplomová práce popisuje a hodnotí marketingovou strategii cestovní kanceláře. Na základě SWOT analýzy a vlastního marketingového výzkumu navrhuje zlepšení marketingové strategie a změny ve složení marketingového mixu. Vlastní marketingový výzkum, provedený písemnou formou pomocí dotazníků mezi cílovou skupinou zákazníků cestovní kanceláře, posuzuje jejich spokojenost se službami cestovní kanceláře. Zpracování diplomové práce potvrzuje čtyři hypotézy, které byly stanoveny před zahájením práce.
