This thesis deals with Iran as a tourist destination. As is implied in the title, the definite aim of the thesis is to evaluate the potential of tourism in this country and its attractiveness for Czech tourists. Initially, there is a general characterization of Iran of the population and the land from geographical, economic and other facets. The general characterization is followed by an analysis of tourism in Iran -- the current situation and the anticipated development. The very important part of this thesis is represented by the analysis of the tour offers provided by Czech tour operators to this destination and evaluation of the questionnaire research, which was aimed to find out how Iran is perceived by the Czech public and also to examine the interest in travelling to this country among Czech tourists.

Part of the work is a comparison previously established state of tourism, which was monitored in previous work deals with the analysis of conditions for the development of tourism in the Novohradsko region. Another part of the work product is designed to ensure sustainability of tourism. The product is a tourist book. In this work are formulated proposals and recommendations for improving the existing situation. To find the necessary information was used situational analysis and field survey.

This thesis is aimed at assessing and analyzing modern trends in hotelery and gastronomy in the region of South Bohemia. The theoretical part gives the reader information about the development of modern trends and explains the technical terminology, which relates to the topic. The practical part draws on information from actual marketing research. Another research project, conducted through anonymous inspections, where a "Mystery Guest" (the author of the thesis) assessed the quality of provided hospitality services from the point of view of a guest. The essential information was gained through opinions of tourism experts. The primary goal is to discover barriers to the growth as well as weaknesses and to determinate a "TOP 10" for gastronomical and a "TOP 10" for accommodation facilities in South Bohemia. The outcome of this thesis is a proposal for appropriate measures to eliminate shortcomings and to contribute to future development of this tourism region.

Gamifikace v cestovním ruchu / Gamification in tourism

The diploma thesis is focused on gamification and possibility of using gamification elements in the field of tourism. The aim of this work is to present gamification as a tool for influencing tourist behavior and to design an own product with gamification elements. In the theoretical part of the thesis a definition of gamification is analyzed alongside with the game elements and game thinking, which constitute the essence of this phenomenon, and the types of motivation of players and travelers are presented. Subsequently, a framework for gamification design is described. The fifth chapter defines the basic notions of tourism and introduces ways of using gamification in tourism. The theoretical part ends by chapters six and seven, where possible risks of using gamification as well as the most successful examples of its implementation are described. The practical part is devoted to the description of a new gamified product including graphic design and the timetable of introduction of the application to the market.

The main objective is to evaluate the current status and potential of the region on issues of sustainable tourism development, sustainable forms of tourism and evaluate conservation in the PLA Iron Mountain. The theoretical part is devoted to sustainable development, sustainable development of tourism and the area of the Iron Mountains. The practical part is to map the nature and landscape protection in the PLA Iron Mountain with regard to small-scale protected areas and analyze friendly forms of tourism. Followed by evaluation of the awareness of sustainable development of the territory by questionnaire from the perspective of local public administration in tourism, residents PLA and business owners. Last theoretical part is the SWOT analysis and recommendations for the future.

The primary survey was conducted that was aimed at cooperation between CzechTourism and Czech economic diplomats and their tourism agenda. The last eight chapter analyses the results of the survey.

The thesis addresses the issue of sustainable tourism development which is illustrated on the example of the Moravian-Silesian region (of the Czech Republic). The aim of the thesis is the evaluation of the current condition as well as the potential of sustainable tourism development in the Moravian-Silesian region. The theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to sustainable development with its basic pillars and principles. The Moravian-Silesian region is characterized in terms of in terms of environment, transport infrastructure, and tourism in the practical part of the thesis. In addition, the offer of environmentally-friendly forms of tourism in the region, their support and opportunities for further development is addressed. A significant portion is dedicated to the analysis of knowledge of sustainable tourism development in the region which is based in responses by entrepreneurs in tourism in the Moravian-Silesian region, tourists, residents of the region, and employees of the regional administrative office. The SWOT analysis serves as an instrument for the evaluation of the current state and the potential opportunities for sustainable tourism development in the region.
